    The products are good, but "4 months" to be delivered is too long. No information before or during the delivery on the reason for the delay, no response to the message or the phone, no possibility of cancellation. I ended up believing that I had been scammed and telling myself that I would not see the shadow of a product. It's a shame, I could have been understanding about the delay of certain items, it would have saved me from buying other products elsewhere and ending up with a duplicate.

    Hello, I am truly sorry for the lack of responses to your queries about your order and also for the delays you faced and the frustration it caused. I understand how disappointing it is to end up with duplicates. As you will have noticed, we had major problems due to serious technical issues with our previous communications system (including the phone). We are currently in the process of switching systems to remedy these problems and ensure that communications run smoothly, but unfortunately as I am alone setting it up, while catching up and migrating messages to this new system, it is not going as fast as I would have liked.     Would recommend BlackArmoury. All in all the order was delivered on time.     I ordered 2 synthetic longswords and one pair of fencing gloves. Order arrived and ONE LONGSWORD WAS MISSING. Our young customer service person came to the end of his contract end of June and decided to return closer to his family in his home town. Unfortunately this has caused a long delay in handling messages since I have had to temporarily take them over directly. ​ I confirm that only one of the two disc pommel longswords was shipped to you and that this was an error. We have been waiting for disc pommels from the supplier and you were meant to be notified that the second sword would be shipped as soon as we have stock. I'm sorry that you were not correctly informed. ​ I have confirmation that we have receive these pommels yesterday afternoon and your second sword is pack and being picked up by DPD this morning, August 2. Your tracking number is DPD 10633004464455. Tracking will be available as soon as DPD scans the package at their logistics center. ​ Again I am very sorry both for the stock situation, and for the unacceptably slow communication.     Très satisfait du matériel et de la qualité de la veste ARCEM, mais gros point négatif sur les délais de livraison (on va mettre ça sur le contexte mondial actuel) et surtout sur le manque de communication. En effet, malgré des délais largement dépassés, nous ne sommes pas tenu au courant de l'avancée de la production de la veste. Quand c'est la première et qu'on l'attend pour pratiquer dans de meilleurs conditions, c'est dommageable. Je retenterais certainement l'expérience tout de même pour une ARCEM 800N sur Mesure en espérant que ça se passera mieux, maintenant que j'ai de quoi pratiquer. Bonne continuation.

    Bonsoir, Ce n'est pas la commande en elle-même. Je n'ai rien à redire sur la qualité de l'umbo commandé. Par contre, il en va autrement concernant le délai de livraison : j'avais même payé un supplément pour recevoir l'article plus vite. Ca n'a servi à rien, il a bien fallut 2 semaines pour le recevoir (alors que le supplément permettait, en principe, de le recevoir dans la semaine...). C'est cet aspect là qu'il vous faut travailler sérieusement. j'ai les mêmes retours d'informations de la part de mes collègues AMHeurs... Travaillez les délais de livraison et il n'y aura plus d'irritants je pense. Quoi qu'il en soit, je vous souhaite une bonne année 2024 !

    Hello Mika. We are very sorry, both that you did not get a reply and for the issue with the gloves. We did indeed have a system issue over the summer that did not notify us of incoming messages sent through the website. I have just, thanks to your review, seen the message (which I am pasting below for reference). This is clearly a manufacturing defect and is not occurring on the vast majority of this style of glove we have sold since 2017. I will gladly either replace the gloves with a new pair from our next batch, or refund the gloves to you. Please let me know which you prefer. Kind regards, Anthony Original message from you (image link removed for security): "I received the shipment last week but unfortunately the seams on the gloves are not built for purpose as after only light sparring with rondel and rapier, approximately 30 minutes each, the underside panel of the left forearm separated on two sides from the rest of the forearm with the right glove having the same seam beginning to unravel."

    Overall, I am satisfied with the product and the responsiveness of the team while they manufactured and shipped the products. I rated this 4 stars rather than 5 because the production time was about 4-6 weeks, but I am overall OK with that because Black Armoury managed my expectations along the way. They were honest about the delivery time and responded quickly to my email inquiry, sent around 4 weeks after the purchase. I would recommend this company and I would by from them again.
