  Friendly staff who helped us adjust the bikes we rented so that the seat was a comfortable height for our ride. They also were great helping us find shoes to use while on the bikes as well. Got to have a great day of riding without the hassle of transporting our bikes around

  5 bikes were hired, we were expecting to get a 11-34 on all bikes, only 3 were equipped with the requested cassette, 1 was changed the following day when the person on it couldn't get up Alpe d'huez, knee injury, final one was not changed which put a bit of a damper on the holiday.

  I booked two bikes for my kids in advance of a 4 day stay in Bourg. The bikes were ready for us to pick up the day before. Excellent quality and service. I also needed my own bike repairing while there—the mechanic fixed it the same day very cheaply. Highly recommended!

  I found the website difficult. Wanted to hire five bikes which had to be booked one at a time. I only succeeded in booking 4 The calendar was not very responsive. I will try again to book the fifth bike. Frustrating!

  Really happy with our hire from the team. We hired a pinnarello and three electric BMC flat bar bikes and all were in top condition. Chapeau to Thoma in the workshop too as he is a legend! The hire shop is always super busy so just be patient, enjoy browsing all the cool stuff in the shop while you wait and Thoma and his team will sort you out as quick as they can. Great central location right opposite the tourist information office. The BMC bikes battery got us up Alp D'huez down col de Sarrone and back to Bourg D'Oisan via Mizoen and la Garde and down the bottom of the Alp again. Just! Stick to eco mode on the hills and you can just make it :)

  On-line ordering process seemed to work well. Good product description and easy payment processing. The bike size selection step is a bit confusing as the drop-down selections do not align with the sizing chart. My bike rental is 6 months from now, so I can't comment on the actual rental bike and service.

  Brilliant service, really helpful guys in the shop which made our whole trip so much easier and more memorable. I was weary about hiring a bike as you just don't know what you are going to get, but these guys were so professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend them to anyone going out there. Way easier than transporting my bike on planes and hire cars.

  I can’t find anywhere in the web that I have to pay a deposit when getting the bike. My surprise was when I got to the shop and they ask me 1000€ as a deposit, I agreed to pay because I hadn't any other options. Then we realized they don't work with "maestro" credit card, so I couldn't pay, finally I left my ID card there during the rental. When I arrived home I realized I left my pedals on the bike (my fault), I called to the rental twice and finally they ask me to write them a mail with a picture of the pedals, they never replied the mail. They aren't the most professional bike rental you can find.

  Made reservations for 4 bikes a month before arrival at Huez. Everything paid for via Huezbikehire webshop. Confirmation received by mail. Unfortunately received a mail the evening behore pick up that everything was sold out, and we would get our money back...so we couldn't ride our bikes during our visit...very dissappointing.

  I booked a bike to check off a bucket list climb (Alp D'huez) ahead of the tour. Per the website there were multiple bikes available so I excitedly made my reservation. 1 week later they cancelled my reservation with no notice or communication. I only saw the refund on my credit card, otherwise I would have shown up with all my gear and had no bike available. They will not respond to any of my queries.

  Magasin contacté par tel pour louer un vélo route pour l'épreuve de la Grande Marmotte, la personne était très sympathique et le service est excellent avec vélo récupéré la veille de l'épreuve (sans que cela compte une journée de location additionnelle), mécano disponible le matin même au cas où souci (alors que départ le dimanche à 7h du matin) et possibilité de le rendre jusqu'au soir (le dimanche!). Excellents modèles prestige proposés (Colnago v3 et Pinarello F12, les deux à disque et en Di2). Tarif raisonnable. Réservation réalisée ensuite via le site internet sans aucune difficulté avec précision de mes demandes particulières. Je ne vois pas ce que je pourrais demander de plus !

  Really easy to rent the bike online, I also get a email from shop asking for my dimensions so they will have my bicycle ready on my arrival.
