  The site is really nice, you can easily find the products that you're searching for. I didn't have any experience with the customer service but I have to admit, that the people working there are doing amazing job at preparing the orders in super quick time. The shipping was also extremely fast. I am really pleased with my experience, shopping at Salewa and don't have anything bad to say about it.

  The boots are less than 30 days old and have been worn 6 times. The orange straps holding the laces are defective and have ripped off. Extremely poor quality. Have other pairs from pre pandemic. Quality is way down hill. Feel like I wasted my money on $300 boots.

  The quality of the items are very good, if also not always standard fitting sizes. The real problem is with the website and customer service. The website doesn't allow printing of return labels. Error message every time. Then contacting customer service is not an easy process. The chat is useless for customer service. The company does not answer the phone or return messages. Best bet is emailing customer service, but they take a while to get back. I would not buy from Salewa again because of the website and customer service. For such expensive gear one would think they could have an excellent website and customer service. One would be wrong.

  Easy web site navigation, selection, payment. Delivery was a bit worse - UPC sent email on Monday that the package is in their hands, then nothing for 5 days, and out of blue sky UPC delivery was at my door. Thanks that I was home. It would be appreciated if UPC sends email/text sms that a package would be delivered targeted day and in the hours between e.g. 8:00 to 10:00. This is a standard now in the delivery logistics for retail.

  The order was shipped to a different count try. I sent multiple emails - no response. Had to contact my credit card to dispute the charge. What happened to Salewa? I used to shop there all the time, and had never had an experience like this before.

  Your website works really poorly, so the bad experience begins there. You sent me a wrong item. Your delivery partner is just a poor service and I have ordered products from you to Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Slovakia - always a problem ? Now, because of your mistake, I have to return it and actually take a trip to a random village because the drop off spots of your partner are not in the cities.

  Great product. Narrow though so needed the larger size, which was then too long. But a perfect shoe if the fit / sizing had been right. Sturdy, lightweight, comfortable. They’ve received my return in condition, said it would be be 30 days… hopefully less.

  Salewa is the best!! Ordered a coat for my son for Christmas because he is obsessed with their coats! He lives in Chicago and wears it as a walking around coat but he also is an avid skier and uses it as a layering piece! My other son is a fly fisherman and swears by the coats because if he gets wet, he still stays warm!! I bought one for my self and I am obsessed as well!!! Great product and company to work with! I had to return a coat for a different size and the new coat arrived a few days later and my refund was in my account immediately! All over great experience! We will definitely be a Salewa family!!!

  Ordering was pretty simple EXCEPT when it comes to checkout. You have to keep clicking past where you think you would normally enter your credit card info. It has a bit of a "we're signing you up for credit instead of letting use your card" feel, but that is NOT the case. You WILL have the option to use your card.   I am unable to review as item was never delivered. I do not debate that Salewa products are typically exceptionally well made and exceed other similar manufacturers in manufacturing a quality product. I have purchased roughly ten pairs of Salewa shoes / boots over the last five years, but my last two experiences with the brand have been far less than exceptional. After purchasing these boots on the website, I was sent an email 2 days later that the item would not be sent as it was now out of stock. As a someone who manages logistics for an ecommerce based business, this email felt flat, offered no alternatives to the product, a potential date the item may be back in stock, and the option to simply postpone shipment until it was restocked. Due to this lack of information, I felt pinched into buying a pair of Keen boots, which is unfortunate because nothing fits me better than a Salewa 10.5.... Something I do truly appreciate. The second bleak interaction came in early January, in what was my first warranty claim with Salewa. The soles of my mountain trainers had started to peel away from the shoe after very little use. The treads on the bottom of the shoe were literally still sharp. This process involved over 10 back and forth emails and my personal expense of sending back the shoe so they could be inspected and then finally replaced nearly a month after the initial correspondence. I hope this email helps the company improve. I'm honestly one of your biggest advocates! In visiting Barcelona last summer, the Salewa store was my first stop! Thanks for listening. Jake
