The Neratmo thermostat was exceptionally difficult to read so a new one was purchased although I found out later I could replace only the text screen for a very much lower price. However, the thermostat was replaced easily but sadly it kept saying my Wi-Fi connection was not reachable. The router was switched off but then failed to connect again. Patience is a virtue after about two weeks it appears to be working okay.

I bought a smart thermostat directly from Netatmo as they had a sale on. What a mistake. I was sent the French version with a europlug despite being in the UK. I tried to contact customer support via the email address given in the order confirmation email, but my message bounced. I looked for a phone number but there isn't one. Finally I sent a message via the so-called "help centre". After 4 days I received a reply asking for a photo of the thermostat. A rather bizarre request, but I complied. I did not receive any further response for 11 days, when I was asked to supply my name and address, which obviously is the same as for the original order. Another 4 days passed, then I received an automated message saying "your ticket has been escalated to our team of specialized agents" with no further response since then. How would I rate my customer experience? Abysmal.

Answer by Dennis EFlagYes, did eventually get a response - but offering to send the missing plug, 6 weeks after I bought it wasn't much help. Item works fine but much more expensive to fit as lack of instruction booklet meant could not do it ourselves.

I purchased three thermostatic radiator valves. One of the valves seems to have a fault so I reported it to customer services. It took them over a week to respond in the first place and I'm just in the process of trying to get them to send out a replacement under warranty but this is not easy. Hopefully my problem will be resolved soon

The product appears to be appealing at first. After less than 4-5 years use problems develop. Technical service is quite overloaded and delayed responses of more than 3-4 days is normal. But most critically with considered opinion there appears to be a fundamental design flaw in the mechanical systems compounded by inadequate support for recent remotely updated system software. There is no way to speak directly with any customer support - free or paid - and the company adopts a "take it or leave it" approach. Would not recommend this product at all as due to no apparent or identifiable fault they have declared the unit "not repairable" after just 4 years. The company drastically needs to understand what customer satisfaction means and take steps to achieve this.

New Thermostat not working - wrong version sent - No customer service! On 17 December 2024, I bought a Netatmo Thermostat & relay kit for £120 directly from Netatmo (France) taking advantage of their winter sale promotion - a big mistake! Unfortunately I was sent a French version with a two pin Europlug instead of the three pin version for UK market (this is not an isolated case). I contacted Netatmo customer support via the email address provided explaining the problem in both English and French, but just received a standard automated reply. There is NO Customer Support phone number, No human being to discuss the concern, No resolution in sight. I also used Netatmo's "Help Centre" contact form several day ago and still awaiting a reply. It's been over 3 weeks since I purchased the faulty product. Is there anybody at Netatmo listening and willing to help? Date of experience: 17 December 2024

Excellent on-line ordering service to complement their very high quality products. I have used Netatmo products for at least 7 years now (cameras, weather station and sensors) and they have never let me down. They just work - and keep working. The supporting apps and web services are excellent too. All in all a very compelling offering of hardware and software.

The product would not connect with the app which is an important feature for me that I use regularly for heating my home for my return. Emailed help center for help but there was no response. Then requested to send a review. This review has been rejected. Now I’m left with the expensive thermostat. Very frustrated and very poor customer service. Please advise how to return without costing me any more money.

I’m very pleased with this thermostat. It looks stylish and I like the fact you can always read what the settings are without pressing a button. The installation was easy - just swapping an old thermostat and reconnecting the two wires, then everything else gets set up automatically via your wifi. My only criticism is that I miss being able to turn the heating on and off with a single button press. I guess I could set a schedule that is on all the time and then just set “away” on and off but there should be a ‘manual’ mode for people like me who have a very variable schedule and just want to turn it on and off in a very simple way

I purchased the indoor CCTV product, replacing one from another provider so as to have outdoor and indoor CCTV via the same Netatmo App. It's priced toward the premium end of the market but simply doesn't meet premium expectations. My previous indoor CCTV was a cheap unit provided free by my home insurer, it was excellent during the day, flawlessly switched to IR at night with excellent definition, audio was clear and you could use it as a remote microphone - on holiday in Asia and left your teenager at home? No problem, tell him to go to bed via the CCTV two-way audio. Why am I telling you this about a different, and cheap product? The Netatmo unit simply doesn't match any of this. It requires perfect lighting conditions to give only half decent picture quality, night time recordings? Forget it, you can barely recognise yourself. Two-way audio? Nope, it's not even a feature. But it knows who is in the house, naming family members and thus by default alerting if strangers are in the house, right...right? No, although this is a feature, as the picture quality is so awful it will alert for family members more often than it doesn't because it cannot recognise its own images. If I'd have had a trial of this product before committing to buying it, I would have sent it back. The only saving grace is that I got a huge discount on it during some sale event and that - as with the outdoor CCTV - you do not have an ongoing monthly subscription to access the video. Conclusion? If you're looking at this price-point which is toward premium, buy something else.

Site crashed during payment and duplicated the order, charging my card twice. This should not be possible from the same basket on a modern site. Cancellation was impossible so I had to wait until both orders were delivered and return one. Returns partner website crashed and took 4 days to issue a return label which had to be printed at home, rather than provided on collection. Return has still not been refunded a week later. Overall the shopping experience is inefficient, outdated and disappointing.

A little slower to respond than expected. Gave me advice that I had already tried. Couldn't fix the problem with my Indoor Camera but offered me a 25% discount on a new one (still quite expensive). Having ordered, it apparently got stuck at French customs and was eventually returned to the warehouse. I had to follow it up. resulting in a new item being sent. It still hasn't arrived 12 days later and I am having to chase again.

I cannot believe how poor the Customer Service has become. Six years of using the product has seen some success early on when I could discuss the problems with a live interactive conversation. This Autumn saw early problems with the thermostat and no contact possible by telephone. I phoned the parent company and was informed by them that they had no contact number for Netatmo, believe it or not. Contacting TechSupport eventually commenced via a Contact Form and subsequent emails. Absolutely useless they did not begin to solve my problem and I agreed to purchase a new thermostat to see if it would produce a reliable system. No such luck, it could not configured despite many attempts starting from restarting the router and then the relay. Gave up and decided to return the product. The Return System has started a whole new set of problems, initially I could not get the link to work and e new contact took over the problem and I was able to establish a acknowledged Return and then print the Return Label. That is another problem when starting the print procedure I get a system error 505, end of story and I am now waiting for Tech Support informing me how to produce a Return Label. I have 9 radiator valves to dispose of as Netatmo Radiator Valves are hard link to the Netatmo Thermostats. The troubles started when a Radiator Valve developed a fault and I was told by Netatmo that it had developed a fault and had to be returned to them to have it replaced, but I was advised that it must be returned to the Retailer. I started this procedure and soon discovered that the Retailer had to Return it to the Wholesaler who would return it to Netatmo. This procedure started on 16 October 2024 and so far absolutely no feedback from any party, need I say more? Netatmo are based in France and operate entirely from a French location in South West France and my advice, from a committed europhile to UK residents would be to avoid at one’s own risk

Everything went smoothly when ordering my thermostat. It arrived well packaged and on time and was what I ordered. This was a replacement for another netatmo wireless thermostat where the display had become unreadable. Setting the new one up was fiddly but there are decent videos on how to install and test the unit. A moderately competent DIYer could replace it. Installing one when there was not one installed before is alot more difficult and best left to an electrician.

I don’t like this product at all. I invested over £1000 and it all gone down the drain. Product is so difficult and challenging to bring back to work when it disconnects. All my product I bought from indoor cameras, 4 sensors, alarm siren, outdoor camera with siren and door bell is not working over a year and a half. There is no engineer in uk you can call to come and help. I am very disappointed. I have contacted the manufacturer in France for so many times but to no avail. I have to invest in another security brand. What a disappointment of apple recommend product. I need answers from the manufacturer please.

The product, once working, is good. Plenty of data and website works well. However, the setup process is terrible at best. I am pretty tech savvy but I cannot get this product to install, trying to add units to an existing weather station. Considering binning the lot and starting with another brand.

Still has not arrived. I have raised two tickets and chased, initially Netamo replied saying they were looking into it, but since then I have not heard anything! Very difficult to understand why they will not communicate with me. My purchase was two cameras, so a significant outlay. If no reply this week I will contact my credit card comptforna refund.

I still haven’t received the items, after contacting them on 25/01 got a reply on 26/01 I was told there was some sort of issue & they will be dispatching the items again after confirming my details but I haven’t received a reply after supplying the requested information. Impossible to talk to them by phone. I wasted over a week trying to get a 'Smart' thermostat set up, which was annoying in the middle of a cold spell in January. A phone call would have saved a lot of hours trying to set the device up. It was a replacement and should have been easy, but it wasn't. their so called email support system just doesn't work. Slow to respond to emails too. Very poor. I think these guys assume people have nothing better to do with their time.

YOUR CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND RESPONSE TO REQUESTS IS ABYSMAL. Despite following all instructions and advice in FAQs, the device would not connect to my wifi despite several attempts. I submitted a support request to which I HAVE STILL RECEIVED NO RESPONSE AFTER 2 WEEKS. In the meantime, I managed to get some telephone advice. The advice did not help directly but something I did during the process caused the camera to connect. It may have been using an older iPhone as part of the setup but I don't know for sure. My wifi network has not changed and has always been functional. Anyway, as a result of this, the camera has now been functioning for about a week. I also received a request for more information from you after leaving a review on Trustpilot. I provided this, but AGAIN HAVE RECEIVED NO DIRECT RESPONSE. If only you could provide responsive support, I would be enthusiastically buying more products but I am cautious in case they don't work again and I get no help. There is not even an easy way to return products that don't work. Your company seems to be very defensive. Not even a phone number listed.

The Netatmo website is excellent. It is clear and easy to navigate. Netatmo’s customer service is also better than I have had anywhere else. Giada who assisted me in replacing a faulty module was very good, and as an apology sent me a Netatmo power bank, mug, and stationary set! The delivery of my order was unbelievably fast, and overall I am very happy with what I ordered.
