  The service seems entirely misleading. I responded to an ad for a job, which then seemed to be a service sharing my resume with other companies, but then turned out to be a service for students to choose a tutor from profiles posted on the company's site, and for which I have to create an online profile - which you want me to pay YOU to promote. Not a word about how I will get paid. No interview and no human being to talk to. I have spent a lot of time on what was supposed to be a simple job application, only to find it is not what I was advertised or what I was led to believe. I have other things I had to do, which I could have used that time for. In other words, you have wasted my time.

  As of Now i have found Findtutors very helpful for me, as an Independent tutors i am working really hard to get myself a bunch of students who are really enthusiastic for their careers and thats when it becomes super effective teaching, i have worked with many students through findtutors, gostudents and classgap, it was a decent experience for me.

  On 12/12 I have been contaccted by a user here called Mark Erik, which has asked me to help with translations, which I have done and instead to be paid at the end of job, I have been asked to go through certain procedures for the payment. Asked for my details, document, portret picture and after all i have been asked for money to cover the activation fee £80 ehich I have paid, then for £350 ehere I understood is a scamming action. Then as I have refused to pay the second amount. they said I can pay only £50 instead of £350. Considering this happend after I have done a full working days job (1 Research Project of 65 pages translated from English to Italian) deling with a PDF opened in word and plenty of graphics. Crazy. Please do not trust people here!! Is full of scammers.

  Find tutors is by far the best tutoring platform. There are so many customers out there looking for you as a tutor. It is also very easy and simple to set up your account, so I would highly recommend it. It is also extremely valuable if you are finding a tutor for yourself or your child because there are so many tutors out there willing to help you. Overall, it is the best tutor website ever! Highly recommend.

  So far, I have managed to add a photo to my profile and complete all my skills and qualifications. I still have to upload these certificates which may take a while having more than a few folders across two houses. Moving on, I think that this website is user-friendly and I believe that many could benefit from it, whether they are seasoned teachers or those just starting out. on their TEFL careers. However, I think find tutors assumes people have already gained the experience whereas many have taught a long time ago, some people may have experienced years of mental health issues and not have a ready curricular of achievements. I believe in equity and giving people a chance. Rather than creating too much of a competitive envirionment, I think it would be nice if there was someone on hand on the interface that you could call up to explain any worries or concerns with regard to teaching- for example where can a person looking to teach get training for teaching online? (this is very specific form of teaching and needs to be taught- not everyone knows how to administer Zoom and all the operations which it allows for an interactive environment online). Nowadays there is too much technology and not enough people to help. So please take this into account as part of good customer service.

  Really happy with the platform. Posting an ad is easy and I was quickly put in touch with some lovely students locally. I would prefer there to be a more reasonable charge for verification (particularly for new tutors or those choosing to tutor a limited amount) but otherwise it has met my needs so far.
