  I've used McAfee for years and it has kept me protected "knock on wood" for all those years. The loading process took awhile for both my wifes and my computers and I'm not sure why. Pain in the butt!! But in the end it loaded and is protecting us again for another year. McAfee is in my opinion the best virus software on the market.

  Iq purchased McAfee Total Protection through BEST Antivirus UK for the past three years. The download code worked easily. McAfee recognized it as a renewal to the existing coverage. No problems encountered. I'm happy and satisfied.

  Had more probs with it for 2020 than I expected, but better at the end of the year.Installation procedure is horrible!! Had to change settings. I had bought a new subscription, not auto refill. I had a fit trying to install it. Thirty minutes later I was close, but it got caught in a loop and I could not proceed. I had to call for help. They had a time getting it installed too as it took over 30 minutes for them too.Installation requirements and procedures must be changed, as this should be made easy. Right now, the installation process is sending the wrong signal. I am sure other customs are telling all of the difficulty in the installation process. I wonder how much business they are losing because of this problem. Guess it keeps their on line help line busy. Know that could be cut back with a fix and save even more time and money!

  McAfee seems to be a good virus protection app, as are many others. But they are often a pain to install, especially if you have virus protection from another year. I had last year’s version and McAfee posted a pop up message when it was going to expire. Their offer was a lot more expensive to renew than this one on BEST Antivirus UK. AndI usually prefer BEST Antivirus UK anyway because they stand behind their products. I did have to delete the old version, but thisnew version automatically took care of the bits and pieces lying around and updated to this new version. It was probably the easiest to install yet.

  Agree with the previous review by Don of PA. Precautions to take: After download from AMZ, Uninstall existing scanners first off line, and install the new download with the Internet connection ready to go by the Mcafee. If the installation hangs up in the middle, do not get scared; it is looking for a Re-start of the Windows PC, or the Windows Defender shield firewall is doing its job. Follow the simple tip that shows on the screen to refer to a Mcafee page website on possible steps that will fix the hang-up, and after the re-start, the Loader will continue where it left off. Remove the "Auto Renewal" to save yourself some money. Do this every year! Good Luck!

  I had used Norton for years and decided to dump them when they switched to their monthly service fee approach (which is outrageously expensive on an annual basis). McAfee is way more reasonably priced and seems to be as good or better than Norton. It regularly scans the browser for malware and deletes tracking cookies. Big improvement!

  I bought this because my prior version expired. I like the three computer capacity because it can cover both desktops and laptops.It came with a code but not clear instructions on just updating my existing account vs a complete download of the software.A search of their website was all about selling products, even after I logged in.Once the product download started, a pop up message asked if I wanted to update my existing account vs establishing a new account and so the update was completed.

  I tried to make my case to freeze this new subscription since I still have like 40 days remaining on my old subscription. I was thinking the days would stack. It took like 25 minutes to resolve my problem by adding more days on my new subscription instead. Basically I got nothing will lose once I actually use the new subs after the old one expires.

  I used Norton for years but the prices kept going up, it felt increasingly intrusive and it didn't work on my Chromebook. Mcafee has proven to be a great solution. I have it on a PC, android phone and a chromebook. It does the job without being annoying and constantly trying to sell upgrades. Glad I made the change.

  I've been using McAfee for almost 20 years and never (knock on wood) had a virus since. Problem is, it's just too expensive to buy through them. Unless you call or get on chat, they'll come down but if you don't have time for that this is the best.   There are 2 things you should be aware of when purchasing McAfee Total Protection 2021. It will change your google search to Yahoo. This should be easily fixed by going to google chrome setting and change it back to google search.The second is the auto renewal that should also get fixed easy by going into setting just before days from program end and not right after installing.Otherwise McAfee is one of the best product there for cyber security

  I've been using McAfee for several years and haven't had any problems. Maybe Kaspersky and Norton are better than they use to be, but I had problems with both of those brands in the past. I like how McAfee Total Protection uninstalls previous McAfee protection products before installing the new one.

When it expires, you simply purchase the downloadable version from BEST Antivirus UK and it presents to you what looks like a typical alpha-numeric license key.You log onto your McAfee account and where it says, "redeem a retail card" place your license key in there, it registers you for another year and runs you through the install process.   I was a little hesitant to give this a try after reading so many negative reviews, but I'm glad that I did. It was very easy to install and works very well. Even the fact that I already had a recently expired McAfee subscription on my computer already wasn't an issue: the old McAfee files were easily removed during installation and my old subscription was automatically extended. Definitely a great buy!

  It was a little challenging to figure out how to install the software once it's purchased on BEST Antivirus UK but they have an incredible customer service team.
