  Sooo much cheaper than buying the software conventionally, from a department store or tech store. Advertises three devices, and easily installed on all three (even reminded me how many I had left to install). I have windows 10, and the application performs flawlessly on my pc's. I've used McAfee for years; good reliability. I would NOT recommend checking the box that allows for auto-renewal payment, as then you can't shop around for a better price (like I did here). I mistakenly did this in the past, but McAfee made it right & refunded my money (good customer service).

  This software is really good. I have been using it for years and it is much cheaper buying it on BEST Antivirus UK than going to the McAfee website. I never renew my protection when the McAfee site sends me notices my computer protection is about to expire, I always say no to their "auto renewal" and instead buy it on BEST Antivirus UK. The first year I did that I had to go to McAfee and they had to set up the product I bought on BEST Antivirus UK, now this year I did it myself with the link they sent to my inbox. Super easy! Save yourself some money, keep yourself protected on the computer. You'll be better off no matter how you look at it. Hope this helps.

  I've been needing to buy a good AV for quite some time. I never owned a PC worth protecting until last year but it was very easy to do with this McAfee product. For only ten dollars, you get antivirus protection for an entire year, which has to be at least 1/4 of what many other top brand-names in the business will charge you for a year's service. I was a bit skeptical at first because it was so cheap, but this really looks like it's going to fill the bill. I set up the automatic resubscription and now I'll just relax for a while. It has its own firewall too! All I need now is a VPN with such great performance and a similar low price! :)

  The program itself is cool, even when it is doing a task in the background the system still functions like nothing is even going on. It is a fully functional program. I had more problems getting it to accept my password than anything because apparently I had this program sometime back and the password in Memory was still active. Other than that it is a great AV program

  This product is half the price I would have to pay if I have automatic renewal on my PC. So I shut it off, and buy my own product when it is close to expiration time. This does not make any kind of sense to me. Wouldn't you think the company would reward a return customer with a lower price, because of loyalty to the product, but "NO" they charge more. Go figure.

  You can either buy this here at a reasonable price and type in the code (3 minutes of your time - max) or you can use the auto-renewal in the company’s product for an exorbitant price. I went with the 1st option and am quite happy.

However, after making my purchase I received an email with a link to the McAfee website where I could enter the activation code I received and download the software.   I'm not sure what is going on with all the negative reviews posted on this product, claiming bogus codes and 3rd-party installers, so this is just a confirmation that all is working as intended:1. Buy the product2. Wait for a confirmation email from BEST Antivirus UK that your order has processed -- that email will also include your Activation Code and the McAfee website to get your product installed (or extend the expiration date, as in my case)3. If you have ANY OTHER ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE installed (i.e. NOT McAfee), use your program-uninstaller to deactivate and remove it, then re-boot your PC, PRIOR TO STARTING the McAfee activation process. I suspect many of the negative reviews stem from people skipping this -- any legitimate anti-virus program will have built-in security to stop almost all other programs from just uninstalling it, so YOU have to do it (unless it is McAfee to begin with -- their website knows how to uninstall THEIR own software)4. Let McAfee install, period. You're done and have basic anti-virus protection.5. If you want to supplement your protection with an additional FREE program, I'd personally recommend the products from Advanced SystemCare. They have paid versions of all their products, but they also offer FREE versions of all of them as well. And these work alongside McAfee quite nicely, I've found. And no, I do not work for or benefit in any way from Advanced SystemCare for stating this -- just came across their products years ago and have used them ever since.6. After and during the installation of McAfee, it will ask you to set up Auto-renew. The 'pro' is that this gets you FREE support in the unlikely event your PC does get a Virus -- McAfee will work with you to get it removed, at no additional cost to you. The 'con' is that this sets you up for a RIDICULOUS renewal charge ($40 this year) when your subscription is 30 days away from expiration. If like me, you forget about this con and get charged, you can get a refund within 60 days, so it's not a huge deal. And you'll want free support if you DO get a virus -- happened to me about 6 years ago and was a nightmare, but professionals can diagnose and fix it pretty easily.7. NEVER take a renewal-price from McAfee directly -- they're a company, and like all companies, they want to maximize profits. So they're betting on 'hooking' you with any easy auto-renewal, charging you an outrageous fee ($40 currently), and hoping you're too lazy to want to challenge any of it. Get your ref

  This product does not load properly. I've installed it twice and cannot get to the program in my computer to personalize it. I'm not sure whether or not it's working on my computer. Anybody know who I can reach for help? I'm really not interested in reading pages of "helpful" (not) suggestions. I just want results. I bought McAfee last year from BEST Antivirus UK and did not have any problems.I should have come back to here rather than adding a new review. I called McAfee, talked with a very nice gentleman about getting a refund. He suggest I first talk to a tech which I did. She was able to install the program and get it up and running. If you're having trouble with this upgrade, give McAfee a call. I've used their programs for over 20 years and so far as I know, they work fine. It's frustrating when a program won't load and you don't know why or how to get it to work. Too often you have to pay to get any help. This was free.

  I had some difficulty down loading the product, but it was due to the fact that I had other expired anti virus software installed on the computer that needed to be removed before the product can be downloaded. I contacted the help desk, I spoke to someone in India, and had a very good customer support, the rep said his name is Tyrone, his English was clear, he helped me well and succeeded in downloading the product, nothing like what another customer wrote
