  Eset's reputation is a good one. And this app does not fail to live up to that reputation, at least not in terms of features and appearance. The problem with rating an antivirus' effectiveness is only its ineffectiveness can truly be determined. That said, this one has yet to prove its ineffectiveness to me, so I wholeheartedly trust this app to protect my device.

  I am thrilled that Eset is now available for my Kindle Fire HDX. I originally heard of Eset a few years ago after getting a virus on my desktop. My computer shop highly recommend it over the worthless security program that I thought was protecting my system. I have had no virus problems since. I have used the free version of it on my tablet now for a couple weeks and just bought the paid version. Don't screw around with your tablets' security. Get this now.

  Works because fast, fast because works. I run a clean setup anyways, but one needs AV for Android, and does for using an APK in any run state installation. Quick focus for new apps, system scan for files, even if you run a net-top it'll scan drives (in full scans), and has no bloatware ads junk. It doesn't control network permissions; that's the Kindle's job; intrusion-detection would slow down gaming. I've used ESET NOD off-and-on since 2005, this is clean and I haven't used any other AV because haven't needed-to. @mjbanks

  Very Impressed so far as to Fire Tablet application. Already may have saved mMy Butt twice and still on 1st day of Pro trial period. My Windows Choice has Always been AVG for unrivalled protection.   I was able to easily set up everything on the app so quickly. The free trial is a 30 day trial, which rocks, most are 7-14 days. Not to mention it only costs $9.95 a year for Premium. This is by far the best antivirus program I've ever used and the cheapest. I like to fully protect my investments, big and small. This app is ideal for the Kindle HD. I'm truly impressed. Good work to those behind the creation of this antivirus program! It deserves 5 Stars for not having any hidden fees, providing the yearly cost prior to signing up for the 30 day free trial, ease of use, and overall just being a great antivirus program.

  One of the few antispyware programs that lets you adjust the scope of the scan to go deeper to find maleware/adware viruses and the like. Excellent product that defends your tablets. Definately a must have! For those to say that you don't need antispyware on your kindle well when it happens to you don't hitch about it. In our ever changing society criminals will not hessitate to steal your identity to use for there own purposes so I know I'm one of these victims and I didn't ask for it to be done either.

  BEST Antivirus UK claims an antivirus is unnecessary on kindle fire but I have discovered that isn't necessarily true. I downloaded this app as a precaution and it has already alerted me about a problem with another app that I was in the process of downloading. I got a popup giving me the option to ignore or remove. I quickly tapped remove. It helped me prevent a potential problem. I highly recommend eset.

There's no b-s, it just does what it says it will: protect you from malware, viruses, unsafe apps and all the other crap that gets thrown at anyone who's on the web and Wi-Fi.   if you're looking for an all in one app to secure your device you cant do better than this. premium version does auto updating and has additional featured but free version does the job.

  This was very easy to install and provides excellent free virus protection. I use A vast for my laptop, but they don't offer a version for the Kindle. This, so far, seems to be an excellent substitute.

  This is a great app it does what it says it will and found a few problem apps and removed them. I thought they may have been a problem as they kept freezing and sure enough they were bad.

  In case you haven't noticed, the very long review complaining about poor customer service, was for AVAST. THIS IS NOT AVAST. Because Avast has been my virus protection of choice for all my computers for years, I tried it on Kindle. Sorry to say their work with Android is no match to their Windows version. So here we have a virus protection that was designed for Andoid. So far all it's done that I know of is inform me of a compromised app, which had just had an update. So I can believe it to be true. App producers can put out a benign app that does cool stuff for free, and you gobble it up. Later, they can send out a harmful version and it gets uploaded, with your device now compromised! They just need to be patient and wait until everyone believes their app is harmless, and then strike. This is why you need this type of protection on your Kindle, and run scans routinely. This app does it. And yes, God forbid they ever went bad...
