  This program is better than Norton and Mc Afee. The support is great! They're constantly updating so your computer is always secure. They send immediate alerts when a virus is detected and then they quarantine it so your computer stays safe. This software is available over the internet and was recommended to us after we had a serious attack from malware and had to have it cleaned by professionals. We then installed it. There are different levels of protection depending on whether your computer is for business or personal needs. We even got it free for a limited time. We are very happy with AVAST and would recommend it to everyone!

  I use Norton 360 for over two years and it would hardly update at all! I removed Norton and downloaded Avast and Avast found 151 infected files! Avast sometimes updates twice a day not twice a month! Also it stops me from going on dangerous websites! I am more impressed with Avast and the way it performs than any other program on my desktop!

  Like a lot of computer uses at home I share some paranoia regarding viruses and Trojans and so forth. I have used Panda and Zone Alarm and several others but I found Avast both easy and effective to use, and fairly inexpensive. It is really good for what I need (Panda and Zone Alarm, to me, are like using a 155 mm cannon on what I encounter) and I highly recommend it. I find the almost continual updates on the anti-virus front crucial. What I most fear is a malicious program that could interfere with the actual operation of my machine. Since using AVAST I haven't encountered that so I'm satisfied.As far as identity theft, I find being poor with a terrible credit rating does a lot more to prevent that than any software.

  For an Anti-Virus you don't have to pay for, this really is top of the line. In a survey of the best Anti-Viruses on the market today (both paid and free) Avast! Anti-Virus ranked 2nd best in the world only behind Kaspersky Anti-Virus by a couple of false positives (A false positive is when your AV picks up a file and flags it as a virus when it actually isn't - all AV does that at some point, don't let that dissuade you). The best part about it, is that you only pay when you want to pay. Of course using free gives you less features, but when I had a virus on my PC many years ago and got Avast! to try to help, it not only did the job, it was easy to use too and it has never failed me since. With it's user-friendly interface, voice pop-ups that let you know of your AV activity and the ability to pay for it whenever you want, there's really no downside to at least trying it. Another really good point is that it's MUCH cheaper than most other Anti-Viruses out there on the market and they always have deals on their subscriptions (50% off and such) and for the amount of work it does for the price, it's a win-win.One of the few downsides I found is that, while it's not resource heavy, there are times when it does work and takes up a large portion of your CPU, causing other things to slow down. It doesn't happen often, but it's worth mentioning.

  Well I've had Norton and now I have avast and Norton does give you more protection and a few more perks but you also need a nice computer to run Norton otherwise it will slow down you computer like none other and its very annoying. Avast on the other hand gives you exceptional security and their virus protection is also great and it doesn't slow down your computer and its about 1/4 of the price of the newest Norton out there so I'd defiantly recommend it.

  I have had it ever since my computer crashed from a virus that Mcafee couldn't tackle. I feel so very secure with it. I did not buy thought BEST Antivirus UK (as I do most things) However, One would be wise to have it on his/her computer.

  Since finding Avast as Freeware years ago I have been using it and now happily pay for it. I'd like to say I have never had a virus since. Well I can't ever remember having a virus on my PC. Awesome Avast thanks!

  So Far, So Good. Just bought a new DELL Desktop. My Techie Friend recommended that either AVG or Avast for my home use. I had Avast for years with my old computer so I am giving this a shot. Simple to install. It appears to be doing its job.

  Easy to install - get the code and paste it into the box and register - simples ! At first did slow my mac down a bit but now sorted . I'm no computer whizz , but this was easy to install and after playing around with the menu you will easily navigate through it . Googled all about the threat on a mac and apparently they are getting viruses as well - not many , as hackers tend to go for windows , as it is easy pickings . Don't really know if it was worth protecting the mac or not - but best be safe .

  I have been using Kaspersky now for a number of years. It has offered more protection and fewer system issues than any of the other solutions which I have used before so very happy. It's also great value for money considering what you have access to. Whilst I don't take full advantage of the optional extra's there are plenty to choose from which can help with the quality of life such as VPN, password keeper and parental restrictions

  I used Avast free version for years. After a couple of years when the software had caught at least 10 Trojans, I felt they deserved my business. I have used Avast Pro for at least 10 years. Last year when I had a "blue screen issue", Avast trapped my browser in the sandbox. I called and they repaired my system remotely The price for a year is reasonable and it covers all 3 of my licensed systems. You get 3 licenses with your initial installation. I f my system runs ragged, I call and let them tune it up. Actually, I rarely write a review, but I have never had one issue that their customer support wasn't there for. All my friends and family call me when they have computer problems. I insist they at least use the free version.I .

  I have been using Avast! for many years. I use it on my it on my PC Win 7 Laptops as well as my Linux Laptop. I also use it on a Android Tablet. I have yet to encounter a problem with it, yet I know it words due to the warning messages I get when it identifies malware attempts on my OSs. In my own simple tests, after performing a preboot , in dept scan with Avast!, I compared the results with another products "live" CD tests and there was no difference noted in the presence of any malware. In both cases, there was none.Avast!'s interface is nicely laid out and easy to use. It offers many additional tools for the non-novice to employ.Please note that in many computer magazine's tests, Avast! is always rated within the top 5. also note that many of Advast! competitors are more expensive. While the free version of Avast! is very good, the paid version provides much more security and, of course, peace of mind. Unfortunately, Avast!, as of the time I wrote this review, does not provide protection for Apple's OS (I-phones, I-pads, etc)Bottom line: Great product at a very reasonable price. Customer device is excellent.

  I had been using free avast for 2 years before I switched to Internet security. I am glad I did cause I enjoy it a lot. It is nonintrusive and user friendly. Avast decides on actions to take on its own most of the time and is perfect for those who are not good with computers. I like its software updater feature when It reminds to update important software like Java. Also avast provides a "SafeZone" to protect your online banking or other important activities in the internet. Avast prevents access to malicious or suspicious websites which I find extremely useful. To sum up. the product is great and hassle free, never had a problem with it in 4 years.

  I didn't buy Avast! through BEST Antivirus UK, so I really don't know why they expect a review. But I have been using the paid version for several years. I used the free version for maybe 5 years before that, and it seemed to do such a good job that I decided I should upgrade to the paid version at least 3 years ago. I have been happy with them and their support center for a long time.

  I had a malware take over my contact list for my email and when i notified Avast, they took over my computer and solved the problem right away. then had me download an upgrade to my Avast software. I have been running smooth ever since.

  I like avast internet security very much . I had problems with my PC in the past and the repairman put in the free Avast security. It worked so well that I purchased Avast. Updates are automatic, protection is working warnings are given, so far I had no problems. I also purchased the Avast security line and I know this also works. Thank you for a great product.I would recommended it to anyone needing better security on their PC.

  2 Years and 5 machines protection for literally half the money Avast charges for 1 year single machine, plus added premium features.   Thank goodness for the person who reviewed this product and gave great instructions on install. This is an incredibly easy to install and i think its optimized my speed. They said to choose "Customization" ...read and choose what you want. Then go into menu and under license put your license number in to activate it...put it in exactly as stated. You have to click on the "digital" of your BEST Antivirus UK receipt in "My orders"....thanks to the other reviewer ...I am a fan of this virus protection.

  My review title says it all - it's a very good product and getting the activation code through BEST Antivirus UK is the simplest and probably the most reasonable way of purchasing this product.1) You purchase this product on BEST Antivirus UK;2) you'll get an email from BEST Antivirus UK with an activation code;3) if you already have an online account with Kaspersky, you visit their website and log in to your account (if you don't already have your account, create one);4) in the 'Licence' tab in your account page on Kaspersky, go down the page and enter the activation code you've just purchased on BEST Antivirus UK;5) now in your product page, you can see what product is waiting to be downloaded, and if you've purchased one for 3x PCs, you can download it and install it up to 3 times;6) download it on your PC and install it - easy!7) for the 2nd and the 3rd PCs you want to install it on, repeat the process in 3) onwards - that's all.*but use the 2nd and the 3rd PCs respectively to do the downloading process, i.e. don't use the 1st PC to install it on 2nd and 3rd PCs.Hope this helps.

  I love avast! I use to have a lot of problems surfing the web, now I don't. It instantly will block sites that are harmful or contain malware and addware. It also has a simple PC clean-up and browser clean-up.

  I have used a subscription version of avast! for my home computer and the free version of avast! for quite a long time for my laptop and have had no problems with either computer. My wife uses the free version of avast! on her 5 year old personal laptop too without any problems, she is very happy about that. The user interface is pretty intuitive, so anyone can navigate its menu and configure the settings for their own needs. avast! auto-updates itself when I turn my computer on so I don't have to remember to do it and risk forgetting to do it for a few days which would leave me vulnerable. I have used other anti virus software but I like avast! the best for overall protection, ease of use and cost. I would recommend it to anyone, even in a business environment.

  I selected AVAST because it was free and I had heard good things about it. I was very dissatisfied with my previous antivirus software and it was very expensive with terrible customer service. AVAST was easy to install and has been very user friendly. I have confidence that my computer is protected. I would definitely recommend this software to a friend and I will always trust my own computer to this security program.

  I am a very satisfied AVG.AVG saves me about 5 or 6 times a day, by eliminating viruses, Trojans, worms and down-loaders.In my experience the competitor‘s products all let some problems slip through.Then they multiply and before you know it you have a dead machine – or worse – with possible identity theft and possible financial loss through cleaned out bank accounts or credit card accounts being among the more severe of the consequences

  Given that I didn't have any issues in using Kaspersky Anti Virus for the past 4 years except one incident where my Mac was hacked from Germany, everything looks to be in order and safe so far.. Hence decided to give one more chance to continue rather than going for a new product in the current lock down.. So far so good..

  I use Total Security for my desktop and was introduced to it by Barclays bank which used to give it to customers for free. I now buy it as it has always performed flawlessly, it is fast and never leads to my computer slowing down where other anti-virus options my family had used in the past seemed take up too much memory and slow the computer down a lot. I also use functions like the "Safe money" browser for banking and other financial websites. I have also blocked websites that I would rather not visit due to content / viruses.Total Security now seems to add extensions to internet browsers automatically so passwords are secure when typed into a browser - this eliminates the possibility of 'key loggers" being able to know what you have typed when entering passwords. Any USB / memory cards are automatically scanned and occasional suggestions are made for possible security patches that might be needed on software. I also occasionally use the free VPN allowance which is around 200mb per day.I would say Total Security borders on being too secure, but I would rather that be the case. For example clicking on "deals" on certain websites will not be allowed because they use click through companies to get data for commission purposes. Sometimes this can be an inconvenience and Kaspersky do not have instructions on dealing with this that are easy to find. However, overall I am happy with Kaspersky, it's performance and the vast array of options and functions that are there if I need to change my settings manually.

  I have used Avast! for years. Started out with the free version then, for the last few years, upgraded to the internet security version. I can attest, from experience, that it really works. There have been countless times when someone sent a link or something tried to get through to infect my computers and Avast! has prevented it every time. It works quietly in the background, doesn't cause problems with legitimate downloads, and does its job very well. Best of all, it does not slow down your computer. It is very easy to work with and even monitors when other programs need an update. You will never go wrong in choosing Avast!

  It doesn't slow down my system. Does a good job catching viruses. Use it on 3 computers. Always delete your current virus program first so there are no conflicts. If this is a renew make sure you reactivate with the new Registration code or you keep getting messages to renew. It is true they will try to sell other programs with AVG but you really don't need to have them.
