  I have had a 10 user license for about 10 years. I tried others with bigger names, I either got viruses or they slowed my machines. One tried to take over my whole network! In all these years not one virus came throughIf I have a complaint it would be that it is sometimes difficult to install special programs that it doesn’t recognize.

  this software is simply great for malware. the free version is excellent, but the real time protection is where its at. if you dont really surf the web that much then sticking with the free version is fine, but if you are a power user that might go to highly malware infested sites either by accident or on purpose then the real time protection is where it shines. plus getting 20 months instead of 12 months for a lower cost is well worth it.

  Best antivirus on the market, hands down! As a court reporting student, a bug getting into my computer and controlling my speakers and volume controls was devastating! None of the other programs provided a permanent fix. I downloaded the free version of MalWare Bytes - problem solved! I've been a subscriber ever since and couldn't dream of using any other anti-virus! Affordable, dependable, and well worth the subscription cost!!

  While anytime one ventures into the wild world of the internet there is a security risk, this risk is greatly increased in public locations such as cafes, airports, and hotels. Unless the interloper is extremely technically sophisticated and has a lot of time on their hands, the text they will see will be gibberish. If nothing else, the software would likely send the interloper to work on a much softer target (that is transmitting unencrypted, plain text messages).

  I have used alot of antivirus software out there and on the market today and I always go back to malwarebytes, It's a very solid software that doesn't try to take over your computer like some of them do.If you like a antivirus program running your computer instead of you running your computer then maybeNorten or some of the other ones is what you need.If you want a Antivirus software that stops everything and lets you make your own decisions on what you can do then this is the best and very easy also.The one thing I will recomennd since you will be downloading it online is to make a Malwarebytes account and save your password, it will make your life alot easier if for some reason you have to reinstall windows again or want to install it on more then one PC.This is for 2 computers and 20 months of service and for the money you can't get much better then that,I had no problems and I received it very fast, just follow the instructions and i think you will agree.

  I’ve used Malwarebytes for the past 3 years and bought my renewal software from Amazon because the price was better. Malwarebytes uses different mechanisms to detect viruses and other malware than other antivirus software. Government agency used it where I worked previously.Another advantage is that it doesn’t slow down my computer when it’s running like some other antivirus software does. I’ve been very satisfied with the software.

  I had Norton which is a great product but got very ""noisy"" with constant upgrades being offered and automatic changes to my browser and reminders to upgrade....This product is light and effective and very price competitive. It works in the background and let's you know each day once scan is complete (if it did not you would not know a scan was complete - and you can turn this off).Does the job and is the ""strong and solvent"" type.Install is easy.

  I work in the tech world and Malwarebytes is a must. I have lost count of how many times I have saved machines with Malwarebytes. Even as an expert user I use it to keep my systems safe. As you could never be too careful. Will definitely recommend it to all systems running Windows. It is a cheap price to pay before it is too late.

  After ages of using Norton, I was sick of their add-ons and insistence that I buy an auto-renewing product. I have a Masters in SW and was a senior manager at a large aerospace company, so I think I can manage my affairs rather than have Otto do it for me. Insulting, Norton!The only issue is that the MWB product I bought is evidently a special for Amazon, so when installing the 2nd license (first was just great) MWB had a hard time understanding that I wasn't stupid for trying to re-enter the same license key twice. Finally convinced them once I tried to test-drive their product and then activate that with my existing key. All has been great since then. Fast, accurate, just the amount of functionality I want for my level of knowledge.

  I haven using malwarebytes for long time along anti-virus. Amazon offer of 20 months on 2 pcs was ideal fore me. This provides with extra safety as it warns upfront. Once during travel it detected port scan and I shut my laptop for safety. Recommend it

  I was a little concerned about all the negative reviews but in the end there were no issues as all. Amazon ships you a Malwarebytes softbox box containing just a card with a key code. You simply visit the Malwarebytes site and download Malewarebytes Premium. The download is 250 mb and took less than 5 seconds on broadband. You will automatically receive a 2 week trial. After a few days the program warns you that you have ""X"" days before the free trial expires and encourages you to activate the software. Simply enter the key code and you're good to go for 20 months. Don't activate the software until you have used up any existing time on you suscription or free trial. Finally the Malewarebytes box they ship reads 1 device / 1 year but there is an Amazon Exclusive sticker on the box that reads 2 device / 20 months and this is correct.

  I had voices coming out of my computer telling me my computer was locked etc. After scanning my computer with the windows 10 security software, I thought the problem was solved, but no, it happened again the next day, the same exact thing. So I used a different computer and ordered Malwarebytes Premium 4.0 from Amazon. I got it the next day and after running the scan, there were 16 bad files on my computer causing my computer to act the way it did. That was 4 days ago and absolutely no problems since. Plus it runs much faster like it used to. I give it 5 stars!

  This certainly is a valuable program that was easily installed without any glitches whatsoever additionally, although listed as an 20 month $27.99 subscription, when activated I discovered that I actually received a 2-year license! I am utilizing this product in conjunction with McAfee both are completely compatible with one another and are installed on my Desktop and Android devices. I truly am supremely confident in the level of protection that this tandem has been providing me!

  Purchased MalwareBytes from Amazon as an Amazon exclusive. Two licenses for 20 months. When installed the software reports 2 license for 24 months.Speaking of MAC installation, confusing at best.First you go to a registration site with an install in the url address.Next Step is fill out the normal registration stuff.An email is sent to your specified email and you acknowledge it.Now try to find the download button. Now easy to find!Once downloaded activate by typing the registration code again.At the last not clearly documented, however the product does run and seems to work fine.

  Malwarebytes is a total waste of money until it's needed, then it's worth every penny and more. Somehow some malware got onto my computer some time ago, and everything I did to get rid of it failed. I did a search and found that Malwarebytes was the only program that would get rid of it according to several people. I downloaded a copy and let it scan my computer. In a very short time, Malwarebytes had found and isolated the malware and I had Malwarebytes purge it from my computer. Suddenly, my computer was back to normal. To say the feeling of elation that I then felt was worth the modest cost of Malwarebytes, is such an understatement. I will never be without Malwarebytes again, if I have a choice.

  WIN10 Defender scan said everything OK, virus made it through to a WIN7 machine via a USB disk, BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH the WIN7 machine, kept HANGING NORTON (on the WIN7 machine). Made a new system drive, installed this, scanned the other USB drives, found and removed the virus.What I learned: 1. WIN10 defender only looks for things that might impact win10, so your backups can be loaded with virus's.2. NORTON does a great job of removing stuff that WIN10 defender passes, but can be hung-up on aggressive MALWARE.3. MALWAREBYTES goes after things and get them removed AT THE COST OF SYSTEM PERFORMANCE (unable to even watch MP4 videos while this thing is running).

  It's nice to know that if an attacker has infiltrated your computer, you have a place to turn for help. The first time my computer stopped working I thought I am in big problem.I contacted Malwarebytes, they send me software to download. and let me to run it. I followed instruction - problem was solved. Some time later, I lost control of my computer again. Remembering the previous incident, I turn to Malwarebytes again, repeating the series of steps mentioned above. As a result, the problem was resolved.

  First, I almost never write reviews. I buy too much stuff, and if it performs as expected then all is good. But once in a while, you get something that is unexpected. That is what I found with Malwarebytes.I purchased this software after Windows Defender detected a virus but then couldn't delete it. I really don't do much on my computer that puts me at risk, and was completely comfortable with the installed Windows antivirus. Until it couldn't do a simple job and the tech at MS recommended I download the trial Malwarebytes to do it instead. Well, I did just that and was blown away at how efficient this program worked. I liked it so much that I searched for and found this full version so I can run it full time.Not only am I pleased by the manner in which Malwarebytes protects and cleans and unwanted viruses, but the job it does against adware and site analytics is amazing. There is an add-in for web browsers that blocks informatics collection, and an icon on the extension bar that notifies when an extension or potentially harmful website has been blocked. With all the shenanigans being perpetrated by Big Tech lately, it is comforting knowing that Google, Facebook and even Amazon are not gaining any more access to my data and privacy than I specifically allow them to.

  It seems this item needs a better description since it didn't make sense to me. The problem was the image...it wasn't the standard MalwareBytes Premium packaging. So I had to ask a question and several replied in short order that cleared up the confusion for me. I did get the premium version of MalwareBytes for 2 computers for the price of 1 for half-again as long - 20 months instead of the usual 12 months and for 2 computers instead of 1 . You cannot beat that deal. Period.

  When click bait seduced a friend into ruining her PC, I was pretty sure that the cleanup would be difficult. She was running a popular and reputable malware product, but it seemed unaware that the machine was using a huge percentage of its processor power running undesirable programs. Just to see what would happen, I loaded up Malwarebytes and ran a scan. It came back with a long list of malware products that needed to be removed. After removal and a reboot, the machine came back fully functional, running no undesirable processes, and scanned clean. Conversations with friends in corporate IT revealed that they have had similar experiences and use a combo of Malwarebytes and Windows Defender on their home machines. I've switched my home machines and have had nothing but good results. I have no connection to Malwarebytes except as a user and have not and will not receive any benefit from posting this review.

  Pros: Malwarebytes is now a subscription-based software product, and is my go-to first line defender to keep my personal laptop free of malware, ransomware and viruses. Bad actors abound and can infect your PC from the invaders lurking on innocent websites like MSN, Yahoo, and others! The basic websites are fine, but their advertisers are NOT!! Many of the 'articles' you click on are carrying malware! I love and trust Malwarebytes, so much so that before I retired, I deployed it across our 30-pc business network and NEVER had any issues, even with users that violated company policy constantly visiting dangerous websites. That's because Malwarebytes is 'real time' protection that stops bad stuff from even getting in. I have my scans set to run once a week (they run daily by default). I recommend this product heartily.Cons: It's not free (but that's to be expected, as stuff you get free is seldom worth much).

  I have a tiny tablet/laptop combo by Acer and it's a few years old. It's a strong machine with an i7 processor but low on RAM (8GB) so I didn't know if it would choke on Malwarebytes but I've had no issues with it since installing Malwarebytes 4 for the first time on that machine using the product I'm reviewing.I just pulled McAfee off all my machines as it nagged me every single day for 3 months about an approaching license expiration where I had to click each time that I would accept the risk? WHAT RISK if they are doing their job and the license is active? I was furious with them. Besides it has Malwarebytes already working in the background on those machines so I started uninstalling that awful nagging software.Don't get me wrong as Malwarebytes nags too which I found out when my laptop license was about to expire later this month but I wanted to transfer another license to the laptop so I didn't want to renew that expiring license. I didn't like that from them either but I didn't have to jump through hoops to keep on working and quit using the soon to expire license shortly thereafter and installed the other license.I've used Malwarebytes for years now and they had one scary issue that turned me off them. It totally ran through my RAM and left me where I couldn't use it until I downloaded a patch. I typed as fast as I could to turn it off and it still used up all my RAM and locked up the computer again and again. Frankly that year, I didn't run it all the time as I had McAfee installed. I didn't trust Malwarebytes for quite a while. I'm just saying, it's not perfect but they do get on it when they find out there's an issue with the software. They've done right by me since then.And one note about starting this review. This is software and the questions you asked before I started writing this review were ridiculous. You want to know about thickness and sheerness like I was rating clothing. I turned those off but you could have done a lot better. I don't know who was responsible for it but they know.

  This is real time malware protection that you must have. If your computer is running slow, get this and install it. I did it for my wife's laptop and her computer had over 600 malware items that were cleaned up. Now there is no need for a faster replacement laptop. Some software versions allow for installation on multiple devices.
