  This doesn't go overboard in it's scanning and is quick and easy. I searched a few too many random music download sites and one of the apps had add ons. This picked it up right away.

  My kindle became infected with a Trojan virus which made it practically inoperable. I downloaded the app and ran the scan and it immediately removed the virus. I love this app and I'm only using the free app.

  Before I got this app I had come across another app online. It had said protect your android device now. It was also blinking in red. Fooled by this app it turned out to be a virus. I know it was a virus because I got this app. Once I downloaded this I ran a scan and it said that I had 12 potential viruses, including the online fake virus protection app. Once I cleared the viruses my kindle fire HD worked fast and was clear. I totally recommend this app.

  Works similarly to Avast!antivirus, which I consider to be pretty exceptional compared to other anti-viruses, you can schedule scans, have a daily scan, or just scan whenever you like. Provides good protection. Highly recommended.

  Using on my Kindle, mainly for free anti-theft feature (which I love!) Works well as far as I can tell however, I've never had malware, viruses or security risks on my Kindle to begin with. For my laptop I use Bitdefender. It has higher detection rates, fewer false-positives and cleans threats from the system more thoroughly than ESET. A really good site for independent reviews and tests of anti-virus software is www.av-comparisons.com, I'll never purchase/download security software without consulting their tests and comparisons first. I don't work for the website I just think it's really well put-together and has very valuable information for home users.

  I had a virus, and this app got rid of it. This worked for me and was very efficient. When I got another virus, it alerted me and got rid of the virus. I recommend this app even if you don't think you have a virus on your device, as a precaution.Great App. Really helped me out.

  Excellent mobile antivirus & security suite, but the licensing is limited in that it will not allow you to enter a username & password or other license information directly from ESET -- if you download this from Amazon's appstore, you have to purchase a license through Amazon's in-app billing system. (Or at least, this was the case at the time I tried to install this many months ago.)If you have a Mobile Security license through ESET and wish to use that, you will need to enter your Kindle's settings and allow installation of unknown applications from third-party sources, and download the Mobile Security APK from ESET's website.On the other hand, if you intend to purchase a license through Amazon, this is the download for you. :)

  I used ESET for a long time on my PC and I really liked it. Then I switched to MAC. When I got a kindle I saw this for free and I thought, go for it. So far it's been transparent and found only one threat from a notepad app. I opted to allow it since I don't use it much anyway. I loved them before and now I love them again.

  Have had the paid eset security bundle on all my PC for years. It is hands down the best there is. When I saw that they had an app for my android I uninstalled what I had been using and downloaded this asap.   This app is great and easy to use. Now some of you may say we shouldn't be downloading questionable content to our devices, anyway. And I honestly think that's a naive way of looking at it. I think even major corporations have security gaps and don't review all their ad banners. It's a good idea to have a little extra protection, and I think this is the best free option available (although you should consider paying the small fee for additional services - it's worth it).
