Verified review4 years of use and I have no complaints, some problems along the way, that were not Avast related just windows that were open unknowingly after Avast gave a warning. When its time to reinstate my anti virus , I will remain using Avast....:)

Verified reviewThis app got great reviews at Cnet. It caught VCL Plus Pro doing suspicious stuff. It also reported on another app that tried to connect to the internet when there was no need. I've only had a week's experience with ESET but it's been a great app.

Verified reviewIf you've been around computers for more than 30 years you don't need much support, but if all you do is Office applications for the most part then you need some help (and some protection) from old Java software runtime programs and other necessary but arcane ilk. Avast was installed on my laptop and it's supported by the guru company I always call on if anything goes wrong. They continue to support the laptop and Avast, and I upgraded from free Avast to paid.
