Verified reviewI used a free version and purchased the Internet Security 2 years ago. It is a very good tool. The best about it: it finds viruses before they have a change to get downloaded. Some viruses are contained in web sites and download themselves without permission. Avast Internet Security has already prevented couple of attacks.

Verified reviewI purchased this security system because I do my banking online and wanted the additional security. It was easy to download, has a daily reminder that all is working, helps me find and eliminate any potential issues, and is reasonably priced. I would recommend this program to anyone who uses a computer.

Verified reviewI've used Avast free edition for years. I've never had any problems with it. It doesn't slow my computer down and doesn't sneak a bunch of other stuff like some other programs.

Verified reviewI've been using Avast for a very long time, I started out with the free version and used it for a few years, now I buy it. I love that is is constantly monitoring my computer. I really love that it has stopped me from going to some sites that could or did have viruses. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat.

Verified reviewThis product have inside all the tools for preventing bad episode on your laptop. Nice, friendly and smoothly to use. No require more resources and work invisible when you run another application in the same time. Together with the VPN secure line made in invinvible package against all malware. I recommend to buy both of them!

Verified reviewI have tried most all Anti Virus products and the only one that works 100% is Avast. In the many years we have had it any attempts of a virus were all caught by Avast, making my computer safe and keeping it safe. We certainly do highly recommend Avast.Shirley (Sam) A.

Verified reviewFor an Anti-Virus you don't have to pay for, this really is top of the line. In a survey of the best Anti-Viruses on the market today (both paid and free) Avast! Anti-Virus ranked 2nd best in the world only behind Kaspersky Anti-Virus by a couple of false positives (A false positive is when your AV picks up a file and flags it as a virus when it actually isn't - all AV does that at some point, don't let that dissuade you). The best part about it, is that you only pay when you want to pay. Of course using free gives you less features, but when I had a virus on my PC many years ago and got Avast! to try to help, it not only did the job, it was easy to use too and it has never failed me since. With it's user-friendly interface, voice pop-ups that let you know of your AV activity and the ability to pay for it whenever you want, there's really no downside to at least trying it. Another really good point is that it's MUCH cheaper than most other Anti-Viruses out there on the market and they always have deals on their subscriptions (50% off and such) and for the amount of work it does for the price, it's a win-win.One of the few downsides I found is that, while it's not resource heavy, there are times when it does work and takes up a large portion of your CPU, causing other things to slow down. It doesn't happen often, but it's worth mentioning.

Verified reviewI've been a customer of Avast for 5 years; each year gets better. I download the license from them and buy a rescue disc yearly that they mail to me with my order and date printed on the cd.The system icon turns around ("system is secured") on my desktop, I know it's working as I get Avast warning messages if I come across a site or messages that aren't secure or if an infected file is suspected.I've only had to call them twice (for glitches on my end with the license number download).The staff is WONDERFUL, I leave the conversation with a sense of respect.I would HIGHLY recommend Avast.Gail in Alaska

Verified reviewI didn't buy Avast! through BEST Antivirus UK, so I really don't know why they expect a review. But I have been using the paid version for several years. I used the free version for maybe 5 years before that, and it seemed to do such a good job that I decided I should upgrade to the paid version at least 3 years ago. I have been happy with them and their support center for a long time.

Verified reviewI found this product helpful in keeping my computer safe. That said, the need for the program to update its virus definitions can be a problem. Still, no virus protection software that I have used compares to this product.
