Verified reviewI have been an avast user for many years. My IT Guru son made me aware of Avast and at first I chose their free service. In comparison to all the others and I mean I tried them all Avast is simply the best. It does not slow you down, it is intelligent when it comes to your programs' needs and intuitive to use while self-maintaining. It updates all the time without any problems. I then chose to buy Avast service because of the additional security features. The price I pay per year is small in comparison for what I get and it is a 3 PC license.

Verified reviewI feel so much safer knowing Avast! is protecting my computer from viruses! It's updated daily to protect me from the latest forms of attacks from the Internet. It doesn't exceed what I've asked it to do for me and it doesn't barrage me with upgrade requests either. I've been very happy with Avast! for two years.

Verified reviewI've been using Avast! Products for a number of years now - Antivirus, Internet Security, Clean-up programs. They work really well and their support personnel (if you ever need to contact them) are very good at understanding and fixinf anything that isn't working to your satisfaction. Their prices are reasonable, too!

Verified reviewoffers just the right balence between performence and security. I have not had any slow downs, but again i have a medium-high performence PC not very many software applications slow it down. Overall a good product been using AVg for 2 years and have not had any virus left on my computer, the scanner always found and cleaned right away.

Verified reviewHad to replace an antivirus/anti-spam software which I had depended on for years. The software title was discontinued and was in a dilemma on betting on a good replacement. This was not part of my short-list until the last minute. So far so good. Painless installation. No signs of being a resource hog, as my laptop (Windows 7) and PC (XP) are both running fine without any signs of being slowed down. Good value as well (for a 2-yr subscription for 3 units)

Verified reviewPurchased Kaspersky Total Security a few days ago (switched from MacAfee) and found it already to be be a dream. System runs smother, UI looks better & to my amazement it's not resource heavy which means it doesn't slow your machine down.If GCHQ have problems with Kaspersky software then It's good enough for me as a consumer.I have found the added benefits of having a VPN (200mb a day) was useful to trial, if you are in the market for a new VPN.Licensing model seems cheap and reasonable. I like Kaspersky offer a managed solution which is useful when you are responsible for sorting out the family's IT equipment.

Verified reviewI have tried both McAfee & Norton. While using both these antivirus programs, I had a virus disable first Norton & hijack my computer. Next, I installed McAfee & the same thing happened again. It was a pain to get the computer back up & running. I next installed Avast & after using it for approximately 4 years, I have not had 1 problem with a virus. This antivirus works.
