If you are having problems with install and firewall here is the fix's.Install problems with Ultimate. If you have any previous copy of AVG or Tuneup trial products installed on the PC that you want to upgrade, you may have problems with the upgrade and with the install and activation.Here is the fix’s.Step 1: Uninstall all previous AVG software go in to control panel it is under programs and features. Restart your PC after it is removed.Step 2: If you are going to remove all of AVG products, click on My PC or This PC double click on C: drive and go into program (86) file look for AVG folder and delete that folder. Otherwise open the file and delete the product that you will upgrade. CloseStep 3: Right click on C: Drive go to properties and open. You will see a box labeled Disk Clean, click on it to run. Next you will see a box labeled Clean Up System Files, click on that and let it run when it’s complete, click on More Options. Go down to System Restore and Shadow Copies. Click on Clean Up boxes. Wait a good 30 seconds than click Ok, for cleanup process to begin. It will ask you if you want to delete files. Click yes, and once done restart your PC. Now it is ready for the new software install.Step 4: You will activate your first copy as the administrator on that PC. You will send out invite to the other PC that you want to protect.
