  Packed really well and came in perfect condition. I had a problem with two items in my order, which was resolved through detailed updates and an open exchange. Leather should really be bought in person and this was nearly as good as doing it yourself. I am overall very happy and will buy from them again.

  Initial contact was great. I’ve asked for leather suggestions to accommodate my line of products. They came back to me on the same day with several suggestions. We arranged a sample delivery, which arrived in around 2 days. At this stage I knew that this company will be my new leather supplier. They are great!

  I've had great service and received a great product in the past. This time my order was on the small side. Yes they explained to me that it was within the parameter of the fine print I should read. As a returning customer I was expecting a little more than " your leather square foot size fell within the boundaries of what you should read in the fine print." How about a simple "sorry for sending such a small hide. You can bet the next one will make you smile." My bad, it's all on me. I should have read the fine print.

  Purchasing was easy online. Shipping is where I ran into issues. The company had emailed me back eventually with proof of them emailing me before hand, but I could not find where they could have went to in my email. I am not the most tech savvy so possibly some sort of filter that only lifted after so many emails were sent? They were helpful once I reached them and were able to offer a resolution to my missing package.

As explained via email, the long waiting (of which we apologize) was due to many orders received, and there was a banner on the website advising customers of this delay. The courier took many days to deliver and this may be due to Christmas period or/and if you are located in a remote area, usually for USA delivery time is 48/72h for most of locations. For the size, pls send us some pictures for verification as even if we indicate an "average" size but the leather should be close to that indication. Thank you

  Hello Ana We received the pictures, you never used bellies and as explained you the bellies can have natural marks near the border that are negligible because what counts is the central part as small defects on the border can be easily avoided. I'm from Québec, Canada and I was a bit upset to order leather online in Italy as it was quite a great cost and the material had to travel a long way to reach my house, but everything was great.   Buy Leather online.com sells thd most beautiful leathers. I'm never disappointed with the quality of the leather or the packaging. I am however disappointed with the courier service they use. Orders get delayed, up to date tracking is never available, so you never know when your order is going to deliver. The courier knocks on the door, drops the leather over my front gate which is visible to everyone as I live on a main street directly opposite a school. My gate is an open 5 bar gate. The courier takes off, I wave to him to come back but he does not want to obtain a signature for delivery and instead writes on the online delivery that he left the package at the side door...which is a fabrication as I only have a front door to take deliveries.

  Honestly, I love buying from this business and they have excellent customer service and products. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because every side I have ever received is at least a square foot less than the average size they advertise on their website. Either I have terrible luck or they should adjust the average size on the product pages. With that said, I will not hesitate to use them again in the future!

  The choice of leathers and descriptions are great. However, shipping is unreliable. It is slow and inaccurately advertised. Last time, I paid for a DHL delivery within 3-4 days. I had to wait for two weeks, and somehow I got redirected to UPS, which is not at all the same as DHL. I wouldn't risk making an express order here, would be money wasted.

  Customer service was helpful in clearing up any questions I had with their services and options. Order shipped very quickly and was well packaged to prevent damage to the hides. Hides came in with minimal imperfections, 3 marks, one of which looked like a scratch from the person who handled the order. Very happy with the quality and services. Splitting services split the hide evenly and did a great job will use them again.

  The half hides were very disappointing. I asked for not too thick leather. The leather came and it is very thick and hard not suitable for the sewing machine so I will not be able to use them. The remnants are just perfect they will sew well and make small things, so I’m pleased with them. My problem but I didn’t anticipate import taxes so it was very expensive.

  Hello Marianne Thanks for the order and feedback You indicated in order notes “Colourful pieces not too thick” This doesn’t means nothing to us if not only referred to the mixed item you ordered “remnants” Indeed for normal leathers you need to request custom splitting to a desired thickness! You find this info in many parts of our website With no indications leather is sent at original thickness If you do not require the splitting service we send leather at original thickness, as we though the note was only referred to scraps, because you need to indicate an exact thickness reduction that can be 1mm, 1,2mm, 1,5mm and so on.. like all customers do ;) So pls consider to make a return and have it split down if you cannot use it Also pls not that the “bad” review is not justified in our opinion Let us know how we can help you

  I have ordered frrom you three times. The skin was good twice. The third time the skin came back bad. Dry, hard skin. This leather cannot be processed.

  Hello Pavlo, thank you for your order, pls note this item is made of mixed skin, so the quality of them can change over the time, sometimes you can get a softer one sometime an hard one or little difference in finish and feel.   When things go wrong, they fix it. That's worth something and well appreciated. As far as the leather goes, I have always favored BLO as their un-dyed veg- tan is high grade with practically no waste. As a purchaser always make sure you measure.
