  The site as it turns out is very misleading. I ordered what was described as a sketchbook but when it arrived it was a Kraft book with brown pages. When I tried to return it I was told that it would not be postage paid as they had sent the correct item.. I checked the product description and it clearly called it a sketch book, somewhere along the way what is described and what is sent are not the same. Poor customer service.. I won’t use this company again.

  Thank you for taking the time to review us. I'm afraid I have to disagree with you. The images and description clearly show that the product has kraft pages not white ones. You're very entitled to send the goods back if you changed your mind (or made a mistake) but this would obviously be at your cost as there is nothing wrong with the product. Kind regards, Guy.

  I was happy with the prices of the products I purchased and they were delivered on time, however the packaging was terrible, three spray cans in a jiffy bag! The bag arrived battered and two of the three spray can lids were broken into pieces. This order 100% should have been in a box

  Thank you for taking the time to review us. I totally agree with you, this was avery poor decision to put your cans in a jiffy bag. If we have one can, we tend to use a jiffy bag because the bubble wrap wraps around it very effectively. However, for any more than one this is not right at all. We certainly don't advise our packers to do this. The packer in question has been advised of the issue and I'm sure will not do it again. Thank you so much for your feedback. This was very useful.   Service was very good. Had to send cradle back was not required by me. Had no problem with sending the product back, C&W sent me a label with all the instructions on how to return the product. The money was paid into my bank the moment Cowling & Wilcox received the product back.

  Great communication, even let me know Evri was delayed (not Cowlingandwilcox's problem, but they still told me so I could set my expectations to suit the new delivery time). The easle is great, entry point easle and was easily build, affordable, and seems solid, very happy. Also I order paint and they popped it into the easle box with bubble wrap, saving packaging and it wasn't loose or anything. Super happy. Good job 👏

  The product is great, but the delivery service came earlier without enough notice. I was upstairs and heard a knock at the door, when I got to the front door, no-one. I then saw a mail from the courier service saying they are coming earlier. I mailed them asking where the parcel is but no response. Later in the day, I went out and saw a parcel lying a few feet away from the front door. Lucky no-one took it because this is a busy road.

  It took over two weeks to get my order despite contacting customer services. This isn’t the first time I’ve had this problem. I’ve also had issues with the way they have packaged items in the past. For example, I ordered cradled wooden panels and a tub of brush cleaner. They cut open the protective plastic on the wooden painting panel (which has a silica gel pack to prevent damp inside) to put the brush cleaner inside the panel. I had no intention of using the panels anytime soon and need the protection of the damp proof packaging as I live in an old cottage. They told me it was their policy to do that with smaller items when shipping!!! After that experience and then my most recent over two week wait for an in excess of £70 order. I will not be using them again.

  I struggled with the website - having been told an item was in stock it suddenly wasn't. Thankfully a very nice assistant helped me on the phone.
