    The staff at Les Gentianes at Arc 2000 were very helpful, extremely friendly, and knowledgeable - a pleasure to deal with them. The equipment was in good condition, and the price was less than other hire options in the resort. I would use them again without hesitation.

    The first pair of boots I hired weren’t as comfortable once I got on the slopes. However the staff were happy to swap them after a couple of days and recommended a pair based on where the first pair were tight. Very happy

    The staff were more than accommodating especially when my wife realized her skis had been switched during the week with a persons from another Skimium outlet!!!! This was not a problem for the staff in the shop!

    The store used in La Clusaz was really welcoming and the team helpful but, in my opinion, the skis I ordered and expected were not what I received and in fact not truly available at this store. I ordered Premium skis and received some quite battered Rossignol Hero skis. I asked to change and the store just said that these are the best they have. They were ok skis but I don't view them as a Premium ski in anyway.

    Friendly and knowledgeable English speaking (I think they were actually all British). Seamed to know their stuff and took time to set up the ski properly and ask about my skiing style. As we arrived early on the Saturday were happy for us to take the stuff out and leave our shoes so we could get a few free runs on the nearby drag.

    Perfectly situated by the Prodains lift. We left our ski equipment overnight as we had lots of children with us. It all work great.

    Let me start with saying that the staff was very helping and its not their fault. unfortunately the store holds old snowboard equipment and do now have all sizes. We were a group of 4 who rented snowboard+ boots and helmets. 3 people had to replace their shoes and even more than ones and this is because the store didnt have the correct size for us. The shoes were brought from another store and that was after an argument and a manager involvement. After that there was a problem with one of the board which had to be replaced. They replaced it with a very good board (from another shop) but didnt adjust the angles on the bindings like on the previous board . In total some of us had at least 1-2 day of snowboarding ruined.

    Thanks for the great service. My ski binding broke while we were in a different village and because we were with Skimium we were able to pop into a different Skimium store and they fixed it immediately. It made a day ending issue into a five minute fix. Thanks.

    I was offered the premium piste skis instead of the premium all terrain skis on collection. Though it was explained that the off piste conditions were poor so we wouldn't be needing the all terrain. It would have been nice to be asked first.

    I reserved the premium slope ski and on arrival at store it was clear the ski's offered hadn't been reserved. The sales assistant (an older guy) said I had specifically ordered twin tip skis (which i hadn't), anyway finally got the ski's changed and was happy with the ski's. After the first days skiing my partner returned to the shop and changed her skis as they were visible dragging on the slopes, no issues the staff changed the skis to a heavier ski but unfortunately she found these ski a little to heavy when skiing so returned to the shop to change them again... the older sales assistant served us again and to be honest was quite rude to my partner, he appears to have a bit of a chip on his shoulder and not the kind of customer experience we would expect. We finally got the ski's changed but my partner was upset by his comments and in my opinion he should keep his thoughts to himself and just do his job and change the customers skis! We have been skiing over 20 years and have used this shop the last 3 visits to La Tania and have been happy with the service and skis, however in 2020 we will look at other ski hire shop options.

    Dear Mr W. We were very upset to hear you had a bad customer service experience in one of our shops. At Ski Higher (Skimium, La Tania) we are a customer service driven business. Through training, recruitment and policies we focus heavily on this. So, your valued feedback reflects on the opposite of what as a company we work towards. So, I can only apologise to you, and particularly to your partner. This disappointing episode has been discussed at length with the member of staff concerned, and without witnessing your visit to the shop I completely agree, his job is to listen to you, then change your skis without his opinion! I understand you would naturally look to use another shop next year, but please next time you are in La Tania give me the chance to make amends to you and your partner.
