  Excellent resource full of fun activities and games all linked to sounds and word groups. Clearly tracked progress and utterly engaging. My daughter has been using it for about six months and has a reading age 18montha above her actual age but more than that she enjoys the tasks and the challenges.

  Started using during lockdown for my 5yr old and she absolutely loved it, so went on to buy a year subscription. We have noticed how it’s helping her with her phonic sounds and her speech is getting better because of this. The lessons are in bite size chunks and just enough to hold interest but not to much so as my little one gets bored. Her progress is tracked and kept a record of so I can always look at what she is up to. Lessons can be repeated as often as wanted and there are plenty of other activities that tie in with the lessons. I love that there are also work sheets that can be printed off and used too. This app seems to have thought of everything. The customer service are also fab and sorted out a problem I had. They got back to me really quickly and the problem was quickly resolved. Really can’t praise this enough. I also like how stuff is tied in from different lessons that have been completed and used to move the child forward. Also now using Mathseed too, and I can’t say again, just how pleased I am. Well worth the money

  Reading eggs has helped my 7 year old son in reading. I would recommend it. My friend advised me to get reading eggs after it helped her three boys with their reading.

  My little one just loves the Junior stages and doing it all on her own. It is great to see her confidence grow with the technology and her word recognition increase as she goes along. I feel that this programme will work in conjunction with starting school and that it will help us reinforce what she has learnt in the classroom. Thank you Reading Eggs.

  I chose to try out Reading Eggs at the beginning of the 2020 lockdown because my 4 year old loves books. Its her fav thing to do. Nursery was closed and we weren't allowed out. I tried the free trial for one month and she was on it every day. I bought a year subscription because she was having so much fun and 6 months later she still asks if she can do her reading eggs! Its fun and perfect for her age. She is starting to read words and even spots rhyming words in every day life. I think its a great tool for starting school. The only downside is that sometimes the pages don't load. I think there are some pages in the 2 to 4 year section which never load at all. Something for the developers to look at.

  Reading Eggs along with Maths Seeds have been great in getting my 4 yr old started on her journey to reading and numbers. We saw how from basic alphabet recognition she developed into a keen learner and seeing her read her first sentence and decode basic words in books was amazing as a parent. The product comes at a great price for an annual subscription and clear instructions of use. we were able to start right away. One of my only negative comments would be its sound option in the reading books. 2 pages are read by the system at once making it difficult for myself and the child to understand, aswell as ruining the reading experience due to its fast pace. Overall my child loves Reading Eggs. She refused a treat just last week. Yes, she refused a chocolate brownie! "because mum im doing my work!, its so much fun". Its engaging, its fresh and its definately the best start to any childs education.

  Started Reading Eggs when daughter was in reception class, we loved it from the start and made time often to work through lessons together. The school subscription ended at the beginning of year 2. Lockdown happened and I agreed with my 7 year old that if I paid for the subscription we must agree to spend some time on it every morning Mon-Fri ( she was not interested in the set school work at the time ). We have mostly worked through Mathseeds and 5 months on we have reached the end ( lesson 200 ) I can honestly say it’s helped her hugely to grasp areas of maths that she previously found difficult because she didn’t understand it. We have both gained new ways to work things out and all done in a fun interactive way. Can’t wait to see how this time spent on Mathseeds will reflect on her maths lessons in school and the feedback from her teacher at the next parent/teacher meeting. Back to Reading Express now and fast phonics once we’ve done the placement reset test for both to put her at the right level to go forward. 100% reccomend the whole site, it’s taught us both and in a fun way 👍😊

  Really enjoying reading eggs with my little girl. She loved the variety and the ease of the site. It’s colourful and friendly but not loud or OTT. Haven’t used all the features yet but would definitely recommend if fact my nephew is using it after we recommended it

  Reading eggs was the lifeline I needed during lockdown. Being a working mum, to suddenly become a full time reception teacher over night was hard work. Having had very little direction from my sons school I scoured the internet to try and find good quality learning resources that would be fun and engaging for my son. Reading eggs caught my sons imagination and he loved playing the games, earning rewards and buying fun stuff from the store. In the 6 months from lockdown to returning to school my son, who recently turned 5, is reading at the level of a 7 year old - I’m so impressed and he is so proud of his own achievements. I also recommended the site to fellow working mums who also loved the site. Thanks for saving our sanity!!

  My 4 year old daughter absolutely loves playing her eggs and numbers games (Reading Eggs and Mathseeds). She's been playing them since the start of lockdown here in the UK and is now able to read lots of words and has started reading books to me at bed time. It's so amazing to see the progress she has made in a few months. I was so sad that she missed out on the last half a year of nursery but am happy that Reading Eggs has given her a great headstart for starting school in September. I've also really enjoyed the time we've spent together when I've been helping her with her games. The website is super easy to use and can be nagivated by my four year old with ease. It's also really nice to get emails with updates on her progress. I have shared the free trial offer with lots of my mum friends and they all love it too.

  It's incredibly fun for all ages and you can take a placement test so it can start you on stuff you need to learn rather than already know. I have a 3yo, 4yo and 7yo and they all enjoy it! My 4yo is on stage 3 reading books which is 1.5 years ahead and my 3yo is reading small words.

  I de-registered my son from primary school due to his anxiety issues and him behind his years. We started the Reading Egg programme and it suits his needs so well. It's engaging and colourful. We have his certificates he has earned all over the wall. It's helped grow his confidence and he is now further on in his reading etc. We love it

  Great,my 5 year old daughter just loves it.. And always she keeps insisting me that she wants to do reading eggs. And this is the only app tht she can do n love to do on her own..   My son really loves his reading eggs time, he looks forward to completing new levels and has so much fun with this type of interactive learning. His reading has improved so much and he is only in reception. I'm so thankful that reading eggs was recommended to me as it is a really great resource that has helped my son become a confident reader.   My son has just turned 6. We suspect he has dyslexia. Thanks to reading eggs he can recognise sounds and can blend them. We had tried other methods before, but nothing worked. He didn’t seem interested. Since he started to use reading eggs at school we have noticed a huge improvement. He loves the games. He has fun and is happy to do a bit every day at home. Months ago we discovered Mathseeds, he loves doing the tests so he can play the car game! The math tests are short and the car game encourages him to get all the questions right. It’s perfect! Both son and mum are happy! Fast Phonics is very handy for us. As he usually forgets some sounds he has seen already, fast phonics gives us the chance of reviewing them. He loves the interactive games.

  I strongly feel the best educational experience at home is reading eggs. It assist very early development giving required confidence as they progress in school. The animation and fun doesn’t make the child over excited but still keep them interested and exciting to progress. I honestly i think it’s very good value for money with other comparable on the market. Couple of issues I have is sometimes it hangs before unlocking next level which makes us to redo previous task. I wish Maths needs little more practice. End sound for English I need more help.

  My son has really engaged with reading through reading eggs. The repetition through games is fantastic and there is no way he would have sat as long with a phonics book. The only issue we have is that we are Scottish and the ‘a’ and ‘u’ sounds are a little difficult for my son to recognise.

  Site is easy to use once you've done it once or twice. The games in Reading Eggs original and Fast Phonics are easy to understand and do, even for a 3 year old. However the games can be a bit too fast (eg the Tetris one) or require high dexterity (selecting one letter within a word) that isn't always accessible for a preschool child, but this can be circumvented by adult assistance when necessary. Having a free trial was definitely a bonus, otherwise it's a lot of money to spend on the unknown. My 3 year old loves doing it, especially when he earns an episode of Andy's dinosaur adventures for every lesson he completes!

  My 4 year old has progressed enormously with letter and sound recognition and has started reading. The activities are varied and enjoyable. The reward of finding out what is inside the egg at the ned of each "lesson" is always a highlight for him too! The only improvement is to be able to turn off the background music within the program as he finds it distracting but still leave the vocals.

  We began using Reading Eggs while in quarantine. Three of my kids, all on their own levels, have been progressing in their reading and math, from beginner level to middle school. They enjoy the lessons and activities, making it easier for me to get them to work while on vacation now.

  I really struggled to get my son interested in reading until I found reading eggs. Now he asks to go on it every day! It’s really well thought out and makes learning fun with short exercises and games which builds on prior knowledge and is a good mix of phonics, reading comprehension and spelling. Love it.

  Reading eggs has really helped my son in recognising his letters. He has learnt so much in a short time. He couldn't recognise a single letter when he started and I was worried about him being behind when he starts school. But in less than 2 months he knows most of his letters and is spelling words and beginning to read sentences. He can also write his name without thinking about it. I'm really impressed with reading eggs and would definitely recommend. The mathseeds is worth it as well. My son loves reading eggs and I'm so glad we found it.

  I've been really impressed with Reading Eggs. My 6 yr old son is a very reluctant reader and I really struggled to get him to read or engage with home schooling during lockdown. However he loves Reading Eggs! He really wants to spend time doing the activities and lessons and asks to read the books to me. He gets very excited when he wins an egg or moves to a new map. Highly recommend!

  My son really seems to like using reading eggs and mathseeds, however does complain that some of the levels are very repetitive which make it boring for him, however he loves getting 10 out of 10 on "show me your skills".

  I ordered a three-month subscription voucher. The only problem I had was that I couldn't work out where on the site I needed to enter my voucher code to redeem it. I emailed the company, and within a day or two someone had got back to me, asked me for the code, and activated it for me.

  My son really loves reading eggs. He is 7 years old and has Autism so is behind for his age for reading. This site makes him feel like he is learning to read and it's fun and engaging for him. We all love it.

  My son is finally engaged with reading! The short games are perfect for his attention span and he loves the feeling of making progress as he moves through the islands. Would like to see the letters a and q formed as the children are taught to write rather than printed style.

  Both my children age 3 and 6 love readings eggs. The learning is age and ability appropriate and you can redo levels if you think your child needs more practice. My children love ‘spending’ there eggs and dressing up there avatar and it’s home.

  The site is so straightforward after a couple of sessions my youngest used them on their own (5) Bought the family package as were so impressed during the free trial. Reading ages have moved by nearly a year in a month. The site is very engaging with places to earn rewards/certificates etc. Customer services have been very friendly and helpful with queries. We also use the math seeds and the junior express section. Absolute value for money and a fantastic resource. Colourful and imaginative with learning broken down into manageable chapters.

  My 5year old son was struggling with blending and recognition of sounds like th, ch, sh when lockdown forced schools to close he was already behind in primary 1! 2 months doing reading eggs a few days a week and he is now reading lots of words even sentences. My son thought reading was a chore now he thinks it’s fun and has gained confidence on seeing his own progress. Thank you reading eggs, looking forward to the rest of Williams progress.

  My daughter has made great progress with her reading using reading eggs. I have recommended it to lots of people! She needs support with some of the tasks, but completes most activities independently and is very proud of herself when she does so.

  Good site to help my daughter with home schooling. Although I'm not sure & it hasn't been confirmed to me by the school I think she may be dyslexic so I easily set her at lower levels to build her confidence up. Easy site to use & I can keep track of her progress.

  Reading eggs has been my saviour during lockdown. The kids love doing reading eggs and earning their animals round the map. They both prefer the math seeds side not sure why...

  Reading Eggs has been wonderful when home schooling. I have two children, and it has meant that my youngest is still engaging with learning while i help the eldest and vice versa. My four year old would spend all day on it of he could, and his letter recognition has come along wondeefully!

  I found the Reading Eggs programme invaluable while teaching my granddaughter (aged 4, nearly 5) to read during the school closure. It is fun, but makes the child work too, and the animation is not over fussy as so many others are. She really looked forward to using it.

  It’s helped my reluctant 3 year old to continue his learning at home. Even though he loves nursery he wouldn’t do at home and now he will, I just wish it was a kindle app as this would make life easier for him to access it when he wanted rather than having to use either our phones or loving into our account on the browser on his kindle x

  Readingeggs site is simple to navigate and rewarding for the children as they see the eggs/acorns getting added up as they work through each activity. These can then be used to trade in to buy items in the game section. Customer service have always promptly got back to me with any queries/questions that I’ve had. All round excellent site, I highly recommend a years subscription to Readingeggs & Mathseeds. My daughter has gained so much knowledge in a fun way.

  Delighted with Reading Eggs.My four year old absolutely loves the characters, animations ,songs and is super keen to do the learning activities .I am amazed at how quickly he has started to recognise letter names, sounds and can now read words and simple sentences .

  I find reading eggs absolutely brilliant, it brings my little one forward so much and it looks like fun! The only thing which I noticed this morning were some glitches in Mathseed's Driving test: sometimes we didn't get the chance to play the race after completing the test and on one occasion the task was wrong and we didn't have an option how to report it. Apart from that, we're very happy with it and find it an excellent value for money. Keep up the good work! :)

  I would love to give 5 stars but due to some of the lessons not compatible with the touch screen laptop I have a very frustrated young man at times as it won't work and he's not the best with the mouse pad. But the love he has for numbers and letters in everyday life is enhanced he's constantly curious with the world around him love how much he's developed from reading eggs

  I like the fact that it's very colourful and silly in the right places for a 5 year old; the reading material is graded very nicely, so it's very convenient for parents to follow, and also the progress reports are very good. Mathseeds has some issues, in the sense that bits of the lesson just go on repeat sometimes, and we have to do the same bit 4-5 times before we can progress (very frustrating, especially for a young child); also, the tests at the end of a lesson: they take forever to load up, especially the end bit, where you press NEXT to continue - if you don't wait for it to load up, next time you log in, you have to take the test again...very irritating. It's a shame, I think it brings down a very well thought out product

  During Covid-19 and its subsequent lockdown, reading eggs and maths seeds were invaluable for home schooling our 3.5 year old. Her articulation and confidence in the alphabet and maths has come along so far. Even as schools go back, we will use reading eggs to complement her school day. I really can't recommend this enough, for such a low cost, it's amazing.

  My only criticism as a mum to a user with additional needs and ataxia who has poor motor skills the button to hear a sound is too close to the item for selecting so she frequently gets an error when she is only trying to hear the word

  I can’t thank reading eggs enough, my son is a young 5, soon to be six and is very behind in school. My daughter uses reading eggs through her junior school, so while in lockdown I thought we’d try the free months trial for my son. I’ve seen such a huge improvement in him, with him chopping words and knowing sounds something he struggled with so much before! After our free month was up, it was a no brainier to carry on and we paid for the year! I’ve spoke to his school teachers and told them how well he’s been doing, the head teacher asked for my opinion and I honestly couldn’t recommend you enough! They’ve said they’re going to possibly look into using you inside school! All I can say is thank you, he asks to go on reading eggs each day, which has made the home schooling struggle massively easier!!

  This is such a fantastic learning resource. My little girl 4 loves it. Because it is like a game it's great for little ones. She has learned so much over just a couple of months! She has started to read small words and make word connections in every day life. Telling me about rhyming words. I have recommended this to all my friends who have children.

  My son Leo (age 6) is learning so much from Reading Eggs !! The mix of learning keeps him stimulated and eager to try new levels; he is now trying to read everything he sees. I would thoroughly recommend Reading Eggs to anyone with kids from 3 and upwards. Keep up the good work Reading Eggs !

  In these unprecedented times I needed something more engaging for my 5 year old other than school work she had been sent home with, so that I could also work from home!! This was brilliant and she is loving learning while still keeping the element of fun!! We sent a video of her reading a brand new book that before the schools closed she couldn’t have read unaided and now she’s amazing!! The free trial was a brilliant way of finding out if it was for her and was so good that we signed up for the yearly subscription! Can’t praise this enough!!

  I love reading eggs. It has shown me that my child can learn quickly, despite being in the struggling lower sets at school. It has changed our lives. Home educating became a pleasure instead of a stress from the first moment we used it. It is so incredible to see my child’s progress, and it is all due to it being fun, engaging, and lasting the right length of time per lesson. I have recommended it far and wide. I know if this was used in school my child would have not been so far behind and struggling so much. This is minimal parental effort, with maximum child progress. My child has gained a 9months reading age in 2 months using it for 30-45 minutes a day, 3-4 times a week and has enjoyed it. It’s never been a chore. It’s the best money on education I’ve ever spent.

  Reading eggs is seriously amazing. I have two boys aged 8 and 9 who both has learning difficulties and always had struggled with reading. My nine year old couldn’t even read the word my or the. But now after 4 months (completeing 1 or 2 levels each day) has made him become more confident. And reading reading age has gone up a year. This is more visual learning my kids have improved so much. Mu son who couldn’t read the word my, is now reading words like where, when, said, fluffy, truck and loads more. I recommend resding eggs 100%!!!!

  My son loves it and it has really helped him to expand his reading comprehension, we decided to add his younger sister to the subscription. After refusing to do anything to do with phonics she has really taken to reading eggs, she asks to do it and is now starting to read!!!
