  Using on my Kindle, mainly for free anti-theft feature (which I love!) Works well as far as I can tell; however, I've never had malware, viruses or security risks on my Kindle to begin with. For my laptop I use Bitdefender. It has higher detection rates, fewer false-positives and cleans threats from the system more thoroughly than ESET. A really good site for independent reviews and tests of anti-virus software is www.av-comparisons.com, I'll never purchase/download security software without consulting their tests and comparisons first. I don't work for the website I just think it's really well put-together and has very valuable information for home users.

  Excellent mobile antivirus & security suite, but the licensing is limited in that it will not allow you to enter a username & password or other license information directly from ESET -- if you download this from BEST Antivirus UK's appstore, you have to purchase a license through BEST Antivirus UK's in-app billing system. (Or at least, this was the case at the time I tried to install this many months ago.)If you have a Mobile Security license through ESET and wish to use that, you will need to enter your Kindle's settings and allow installation of unknown applications from third-party sources, and download the Mobile Security APK from ESET's website.On the other hand, if you intend to purchase a license through BEST Antivirus UK, this is the download for you. :)

  I used ESET for a long time on my PC and I really liked it. Then I switched to MAC. When I got a kindle I saw this for free and I thought, go for it. So far it's been transparent and found only one threat from a notepad app. I opted to allow it since I don't use it much anyway. I loved them before and now I love them again.

  It's a great app for Kindle Fire. It alerted me to malicious items attached to a few apps that I had downloaded and I was able to get rid of the apps and their malware thanks to this app. I highly recommend it. You just must remember to keep it updated, since automatic updates are not included with the free version.

  This is a wonderful app. Without it, to be honest, I probably would have had many virus' by now. It is very affective. When I download a game, I always check with this. Once, I downloaded a game and it said something, but I ignored I. BAD CHOICE!!!! Later on, my Kindle stopped working as well. I recommend this for everyone.

  I ran the scan right after I got it and discovered viruses on my favorite apps!!! I've heard that it's hard to install and that it's only a 30 day trial. So? Nothing great comes free. I'd pay for the full version

  I only got this AV app last week, but I'm really impressed- especially since it was free. It's very easy to use and has done a great job keeping my kindle safe so far. I don't know how actually but I somehow ended up with six months of the premium version free. It might've been because I tried to leave the description page without downloading the free version; I'm just not sure. All I do know is that it has performed much better than any of the others I've tried, and I feel secure about being protected. Get this one!

  Before I got this app I had come across another app online. It had said protect your android device now. It was also blinking in red. Fooled by this app it turned out to be a virus. I know it was a virus because I got this app. Once I downloaded this I ran a scan and it said that I had 12 potential viruses, including the online fake virus protection app. Once I cleared the viruses my kindle fire HD worked fast and was clear. I totally recommend this app.

  Since purchasing my Kindle I have been concerned about online safety. Let me first say I am new to computers and online safety since you hear so much about it. This has been the main reason in taking so long to jump on the bandwagon. After finally purchasing my Kindle, my 5 year old grandson visited and was surprised and dismayed there were no games loaded....for either him or me.So I got a few games to start with. We both enjoyed it and I started looking for more. I then found this app and immediately installed it. Boy was that the smart thing to do as one of our games was listed to be problematic! I got rid of that app and have been free of problems since!GREAT free app. I am glad I didn't, but would pay for it

  Eset is a very complete anti-virus software app, even though I am assured by BEST Antivirus UK that the Silk web browser is very secure, you can't have too many layers of security. I works well with my Kindle and doesn't jam anything up!! I also use it on my PC where it is also ever vigilant.

  Really more than satisfied. I've had this app for about 20 months so far and have been more than pleased with it's performance. It always sits there quietly until I get careless and elect to add something or something tries to work it's way into my tablet, and then it either blocks it and tells me that something is wrong or if not serious enough of a threat it allows me to continue but makes a note of it for me to review later. When I first found this app and red all the reviews of all the people that used it and also used eset on their other larger devices, well I wondered why I had never heard of it before. After all, if it was all that great and all that wide spread, everybody would know about it. But I learned, sometimes the good things are quiet.

  I feel very secure with eset keeping my Kindles (plural) safe. I bought the security system after checking out the free version, which allowed me to make a decision to keep my Kindles secure. Thanks eset. You have made me feel darn good owning a kindle fire and going on the internet, purchasing apps with you watching my back.
