  As another user mentioned in their review, 'the best anti virus application is one you don't notice running'. I agree. I have been running ESET since I purchased my Kindle Fire HDX about a year ago. I am using the available purchased options in the app and it's been running flawlessly since I installed it. The ONLY bad point with running ESET on a tablet is that the Anti-Theft feature doesn't work. There must be some way to modify this feature for tablets. Make that work, and I'll give this app six stars! Even if the feature would have to be purchased within the app. Tablets are as valuable as phones, Anti-Theft would be a huge plus for this app for those of us running it on our tablets.

  I was looking for a cheat for a game and found one. I didn't know it had a virus. This application told me it had a very bad virus and told me to uninstall the virus. It saved my kindle fire hd.

  I run the free version on my Kindle Fire and have had no problems. You have to manually update it from time to time but definitely worth the effort since the price is right (free). Plus you have the option to upgrade for additional protection if you need it. Overall great product.

  I Have It on My Kindle I got it because I also Have it on My Old Laptop and as soon as The Anti Virus that came on My New Lap Top expires, (next Month) I will be getting installing it on This Lap Top.I Love ESET Anti Virus Because It will scan Everything that I open on the Internet as soon as I open the page. And if I'm on Face Book It will scan Everything I open and Has Blocked Many potential Threats.   So far its alright. I like the fact it doesn't seem to slow down my phone. I just can't really give it anymore than 3 stars until I actually see it addressing some security issue. I also have ESET security on my computer and I can certainly recommend that. I'll return to update my review once I have more time to test this product out.EDIT:I'm updating my review to 5 stars. I've had zero issues using this product. I'm actually tempted to go to some far more questionable websites to really test the software but I'll refrain from doing that. I can however say that I do a lot of web browsing and I don't seem to be having any security issues. The great thing about ESET products is that they impact your system far less than other security software. They protect your computer as much as other products and yet you'll hardly know its there. One of the big reasons that I'm updating my review to 5 stars is that the customer service. Its nice to see someone checking the reviews to see if people are running into any issues.

  This is a good app and the free version does the job very well! I like the fact that they show you which apps are a threat and that you can quarantine them in case you feel the antivirus app has made an error, then you can put your app back on your device from the quarantine list. I also like the fact that the app scans fast which some protection apps are lacking and scan quite slower;so I give this app a 5 star rating! E.Birtch

  I installed this on my new Kindle Fire HDX 7 inch prior to installing other apps. I'm glad I did because one of the apps I tried to install apparently had a virus. This program popped up with a warning about it and asked if I wanted to stop the installation, which I did. I'm glad I got it. I am only using the free version and, at this point, doubt that I will buy the premium version.

  I use the full version on my computer at home and it ROCKS! No interruptions in gameplay or graphic programs, no slowdowns while scanning, ALWAYS up to date. Since I've been using it, I have never downloaded a virus on my kindle or my pc that eset has not caught and isolated immediately. It never hijacks my comp like the crap antivirus software that came bundled with my Dell. I junked that first thing and uploaded NOD32. It's more than worth the price IMHO.You would be doing yourself a disservice if you pass it up because you feel that free antivirus software is somehow better. Use the app and check out the full version options for all your comps and devices.

  I got this thinking it would be a basic app, nothing special. Boy, was I wrong. This app sits quietly in the background (you can have a icon, on my Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 it has an icon in the message area) without sucking energy and pops up with a message warning you if there's a problem, giving a choice of actions to protect yourself. If you go to a bad website, download a malicious or tracking app, etc., you get a sound and a popup message.You can scan with several "depths." There's a security audit where you can check your machine and/or your settings. There's antiphishing for your browser, too. There's more, I'm just too lazy to type all of them; also it depends on your device.In short, it's full-featured protection in a tiny, unobtrusive package.You can use a free version or get a 1 month free trial and then have a few options for paid, depending on your device. Mobile for Android is $20.95/1 year and $29.95/2 years. Great price for a security program of this caliber.

  I always used Eset on my old desktop computer so I was so glad to find their free app for my Kindle. It works in the background while you do whatever on your device, but lets you know right away in real time if a threat is detected and tells you how to remove it. You can also do a fullscan whenever you wish or schedule it to run automatically. It will also notify you and tell you when you should upgrade virus definitions.

  I received a notification that I had a virus and I needed to run this scan. I didn't and went to BEST Antivirus UK and installed Mobile Security. The notification was actually the virus and Mobile Security removed it. Who knows what would have happened if I had run the original scam notification. Works great.

  Have used ESET NOD32 on my home PC for years. Damn good product. It's working hard doing the job while many other anti virus software just sits and " watches" the bad stuff comes into your system to snoop and cause havoc. Now my tablet is secure too.

  Works similarly to Avast!antivirus, which I consider to be pretty exceptional compared to other anti-viruses, you can schedule scans, have a daily scan, or just scan whenever you like. Provides good protection. Highly recommended.

  I never thought about protecting my Kindle, but I'm glad I found this app. It's free with some upgrades you have to pay for, if you want them. It seems to do a fine job on the free settings.

  I downloaded this as soon as I got my kindle and it's done a good job for me. I downloaded an app and didn't know it contained a virus the mobile security app found the virus and took care of it.
