  Having tried McAfee (which allowed four viruses to infect my computer and remain undetected) and Norton (which allowed undetected PUPs), I have found Bitdefender Total Security to be the best prevention for malware and potentially unwanted programs. I occasionally test Bitdefender with my ISP and Microsoft security scans, along with Malwarebytes Adwarecleaner, and have yet to uncover any security issues with this product after ten months of use. It is effective and does not slow down my computer. Thus far, Bitdefender protection is unsurpassed.

  I've used Bitdefender Antivirus for several years. Updates frequently doesn't hog the cpu no viruses. Sometimes blocks sites I trust, but it's easy to enable them. I like Bitdefender!

  I have had Norton Security for 15 years. It has been good but was always a resource hog. Bitdefender had great reviews so I gave it a try. It is a terrific, lightweight security application that works very well. You can load it on up to 5 devices. I am very pleased with the switch.

  I already has Bitdefender Total Security and it was time to renew. I bought the 1 year subscription for $20.00 yesterday. The activation code arrived this morning. I entered the activation code and my subscription was renewed. Initially it was only protecting my 2 IOS devices but after I restarted my computer it showed that I needed to fix the issue. I went into the app and made sure all the protection and privacy features were turned on. After that all 3 of my devices were protected. Very easy renewal process!

  I liked this Total Security program. It was very easy to install - no second party involved, just straight to the computer with very good instructions and SUCCESS!! I'm one of those people who can screw up anything - especially installation of computer programs or apps and it was easy for ME to install. Haven't had to use tech support yet, I asked questions on Amazon Answers and got responses that said tech support was very good.

  I've stayed with the big name anti-virus products for years, but someone recommended Bitdefender, so I tried it and like it better. Not only is it less expensive that the others, you can install it on your cell phone, tablet and other mobile devices. So far, it's working very well.

  So far so good. I've used this version for 2 months. No issues. I would definitely recommend this product.Pro's? Easy to use? File shredder ( for complete deletion of file or files)? Current price of $39.99 to protect 5 devices? So far not slowing down my computerCon's? No adblocker ( I was surprised this was not offered)? Manual update can only be done using icon in task bar ( not able to do from main dashboard or desktop icon)? It can take up to 15 minutes or more after install for activation to be accepted. When I went through the install process and used activation code it appeared that the activation code wasn't accepted. But after 15 minutes and checking again, the activation code had been accepted and activated.Can't say anything good or bad about tech support since I haven't had to use it ( so far ).

  Been using Bitdefender Total Security for over a year and i love it. Easy to install and setup. Great for PC Gaming Setups. Block's incoming threats when your surfing the net & has a lot of security features. I love it when it notifies me if i have any windows 10 or any kind of update for my computer. One of the best parts of the software is ""Activate profiles automatically"" area. Automatically activates the right profile based on your current activity and running applications. So if your playing Video Games on your PC and if you set the ""Game Profile"" Configure and at the bottom check box ""Real-time optimization"" it will improve performance in real-time and eliminates interruptions while ""Gaming Profile"" is turn on. You can even Turn on Activate profiles ""Automatically"" so you don't have to keep clicking on what Profile to use if your watching a movie, using your e-mail, Battery mode profile or Public WiFi (Wi-Fi). Bitdefender Total Security Support Center is great to use if you have any info that you would like ask. You can E-mail them or Call if you have any problems. You cant bet this price. I use to have Norton Security for the longest time and had a little trouble using it and all ways had virus still come in when i surf the net & it will slow down my PC when i came.   I ordered this to renew my Bit Defender subscription. Bit Defender wanted way to much to renew and, although they later offered to match this price, I elected to stay with the renewal I purchased from Amazon. This arrived as a card with a scratch off for the update code. Today I logged into my Bit Defender account, typed in the scratch off code, and it instantly extended my subscription starting the date my original subscription was to expire. It could not have been easier. If you want to update or install a new Bit Defender account this is a simple and cost effective way to do it. I have been using Bit Defender for a year now and it's excellent security software.

  I've been debating if I should get antivirus software for my mac. Everyone I ask that owns a mac doesn't seem to have antivirus software and hasn't had any issues. But ever since COVID hit, there seems to be more and more ransomware and malware so I figured I better do something about protecting our computers specially since the kids are online more and more. Turns out I was right since after my first scan, the software found malware. I strongly recommend everyone get some sort of antivirus software. This is worth the money!

  Good antivirus. But sometimes too agressive at blocking. Has block some banking/credit card website from loading properly. So expect to make adjustments to the firewall sometimes. Sometimes the website you may try to reach isn't down, it's just Bitdefender.

  I've had Bidefender for years, but always look for the lowest price when it comes time to renew.This card was half the price of the next cheapest option I could find, and I had no problem renewing my subscription.Their websites are confusing. I'm not sure why I have two separate accounts that seem to show the same subscription info, but in completely different formats. Finding out where to enter the code took a few minutes, but once I got to the right screen, everything went fine.

  Real world tests prove it's effectiveness and it's light on system resources. Less than 4% cpu usage at idle and less than 400 MB of memory used out of the available 16 GB. Sorry others had trouble with the authorization code, the code I received worked instantly.

  I've been using Bitdefender for years and have never had an issue. I used to use Kaspersky products but no longer trust them. Years back Kaspersky released an update that started deleting safe files from computers all over the world, plus they are based in Russia! Bitdefender is high in value and performance, I have 4 of my devices protected and never an issue.

  I follow multiple independent Antivirus Review websites that have different formulas for Real-World testing and other various tests. In all of them, BitDefender and Kaspersky always rank in the top group. They have both been doing this consistently for years, which is impressive. BitDefender has improved significantly over the years and is a top quality Antivirus application.This version also includes protection for your Android devices. It is an excellent value.

  I've always thought that anti-virus software was like putting up a picket fence around your computer, while the bad guys were driving tanks at your computer. The anti-virus gave you a false sense of security, but if the bad guys want in, there is no stopping them.Then I got BitDefender. It is the least obtrusive, quietest Anti-virus I've ever had. It is no resource hog like certain programs. It was so much in the background, I wondered if it was even doing anything.Then came this past Saturday. I was in the middle of working and all of a sudden, what I was working on shut down and BitDefender popped up with a warning that I had just been the victim of a Ransomware attack.BitDefender blocked most of it, but it did encrypt some files, which Bitdefender was able to unencrypt! I've never heard of a program being able to do that. It told me the source of the attack was those gadgets that so many of us have on our computers. If I could give Bitdefender 10 stars, I would. It saved my computer.

  Bitdefender is way more amazing than I realized. I‘ve used it for years for all my PCs and it doesn’t slow them down at all. But this week I had 2 Dell laptops, a briefcase and backpack on back seat of my car at work and some thug smashed the window and stole them. This morning, a Saturday, I logged into bitdefender and went to my device list ant theft protection for one of the laptops and it was turned on in an energy company in Houston. I met a Sheriff deputy there and he gave me instructions on what to do Monday. It gave exact address and IP address. Only online for a few minutes as thief tried to get into it. Probably custodial person per deputy. Case still pending but at least I have a lead.

  Easy to install, does NOT require credit card (like Norton). Better virus protection than McAfee. (But miss the one touch optimization widget from McAfee). Great real-time monitoring. Keeps me informed as it protects. 200MB daily limit for VPN is a tease. Either it should have unlimited VPN or it shouldn't have it at all. Partial protect is a vunerability. Great value for 10 devices.

  Always buy a phusical disk when using Bit Defender. Its a great product but they are very unethical once they have your credit catd number. They will automatically charge triple the cost annual renewals.

  The Bitdefender code worked as expected. Much cheaper to buy it here and the other plus side is that there is no auto-bill renewal that was automagically emailed to me when last time it was about to expire.

  Bitdefender typically gets the highest ratings for catching viruses, but there are several other good products also. I've been using Bitdefender for about 3 years now (previously I used Norton, and on occasion McAfee). Never had a virus in those 3 years.Easy to install. Works in the background. Light on system resources.Has alot of features I don't use. There is a password manager, but I use a dedicated full featured password manager. There is a file shredder which supposedly scrub files from your computer so they can't be recovered. I have just never had the need to use it. They have a built in VPN, but again, I've just never used it.Quick scans take just a few minutes. Deep scans take longer, but not ridiculously long. Firewall works great with minimal user intervention.Be sure to buy at the right price. Start looking about 1-2 months before your current anti virus is set to expire. When I did that, the price for what I needed was $89. I didn't need it right then so I waited. The price dropped to $34.99. I still didn't order, but a few days later there was a $5 coupon, so I bought it at $29.99. I still have 30 days left on my current subscription, so I'll just wait until the last day, then install the new license. If you do it earlier, you may lose the time you have on your existing subscription.Overall, Bitdefender is about as good as you can get, at a good price. Would recommend.

  Good overall, and a more simple configuration process than other products like AVG. It didn’t seem to cause issues with the current system processes like some other software products do. My hope is that it works so good that I’ll never know how well it’s working.

  I keep an eye on AVcomparatives and don't hesitate to switch when there's an obviously better AV product out there. Bitdefender has been my go-to for a couple of years now due to great detection rates, frequent updates, and low false positive errors.

  This would be my second year using it and with 5 computers, product does a fine job in keeping them safe. As an""IT"" ...inhouse tech, wife and kids have no Idea about outside threats, good thing I got BitDefender.

  Great product. I don't know how anybody buys these things any other way. Great deal for this product and Bitdefender has been protecting my computers for a few years now. Been clean the whole time. I had some others in the past that were nowhere near as good.

  5 devices for $29.99 and it's one of the best antivirus programs available. This will work with your pc, mac, iPhone, or android products. It does have parental controls if you are installing on a child's device. It has game mode so you're not disturbed while gaming. All around awesome deal.
