  The VPN capability isn't very useful for the amount of data it has. I purchased this price more for security and the price for 2 years was $34.99 after $20 coupon applied. I never really had software that is updated in awhile. I just wanted to make sure my save storage files are clean, After scanning, it shows some files needed to be cleaned or remove. Just trying to minimize my risk of ID theft and so on.

  After using another security software for 20 years, they now require a credit card to install the software. I was not about to give them permission to renew their product at a very high price if I forgot to cancel. BitDefender for 5 devices for 2 years was very highly rated, and a bargain on Amazon. The best part is that it installed easily, and appears to work perfectly!! I actually like it better than the previous security software.

  I've used this product for several years now and in my opinion it's one of the best options for antivirus. Not only is it effective but most importantly unlike its competitors it does not drain system resources while it runs in the background. I use Norton for the longest time but it uses a lot of system resources so unless you have a really high end PC it works against you. This product specifically two years for this price is fantastic deal and the only way to go every time I renew. Highly recommended.

  I am a Bitdefender fan, having used this program for several years, and was delighted to find this offer for a two-year subscription (5 devices, at that). I had issues with installing this program since my previous program was still in play (had one more day until it expired). The previous program was for three devices so this new program did not meld well with it. I ended up asking for online tech support, after many failures at getting this new program installed and operational. Amazing and blazing fast per the tech support...I'm even more impressed with Bitdefender! With superb instructions, I was able to quickly get this new program installed and running! Needless to say, I will continue to be a dedicated fan and customer of Bitdefender....and of Amazon's terrific offers for the annual subscriptions.

  Purchased a new computer this year. This is the first time that I have paid for security. Went with Bitdefender because it was recommended by Consumer Reports. I am not technical but it was easy to install. I haven't installed it on my phones yet, but have installed it on two laptops. Impressed by the pop ups telling me what to do to further protect the computers otherwise stays in the background. Have not needed technical support.

  I have been a Norton user for more years than I can count. Now that they have gone to the subscription, I am out as all they want to be able to do is charge you full price automatically each year. Thought I would try Bitfinder and I have found it to be flawless. It installed easily, although I do encourage you to uninstall other security software first before you install Bitfinder. But I am very happy with Bitfinder. Does not slow the computer down and very user friendly. They now have my loyalty as long as they do not go to an annual service plan model.

  McAfee, Norton, Trend Micro, Kaspersky. I've used em all over the years. Bitdefender has been my go to for the past 4 years. No viruses, functionality is perfect, low system impact. UI is very user friendly and intuitive. Be leery re: reading reviews on the web, as I think often review sites have agendas. I'm speaking from usage- Bitdefender is the best. Consumer Reports agrees

  Bitdefender is probably one of the better Anti-viruses out there in my experience. The only issue is that out of the box it's a bit on the too-safe side blocking all programs that access your Documents by default and even blocking access to your router because it's ""Not secure""...I'm not an expert on Anti-viruses though but I can say I've enjoyed using it far more than I've enjoyed using Avast.Although one thing that does have me slightly worried is they've blocked Google on a number of occasions for a short period...

  Been using Bitdefender for about 4 years now and it works amazing. They also update for the latest attacks and give you notice of the newest or most threatening intrusions.Wish I knew they had this payment option cause it far cheaper than their last minute renewal discount. I also love how it includes mobile security and tracking. Overall this isnt some generic free or ""most popular"" hack job antivirus. They get the job done with proactive updates.

  I've been using Bitdefender total security for three years. When my subscription was up for renewal I decided to shop around for a good deal. I got a 2 year subscription for $44.95 which is a great deal for what many consider to be the best security software on the market. Through the years I have tried Norton,Eset,Kaspersky,McAfee,and Webroot and have found Bitdefender to be the best of all. their customer service is 24/7.

  I'm in a rural area so am forced to use huges net. My concern, especially when I added their VPN, was my speed would crawl down to nothing. This might sound crazy, but it seems my speed is actually better? I've used a couple other security products, and have always had to remove them because things were taking too long to load, ESPECIALLY when using a VPN. Maybe because they're blocking something, idk. All I know is this is the first internet security product I've ever used that makes me forget it's even there, and there's no lag in speed, even while it's updating. I absolutely LOVE it!

  One of the top rated, if not the best, security suite. Comcast is pulling their usual fun and games. No more Norton 360 for free with an Internet subscription. Without going in to details which are not relevant to this review, the option Comcast was offering was unacceptable and, to be completely honest, deceptive. So I decided to pick this up on sale, this is even a good deal at the full 55 dollar price, and so far so good.Excellent programs. Free ""limited"" VPN. But hey, you need real privacy full time? There are better options than a VPN. And you get a two year subscription for five devices. So why the 3 Stars on install?Well, and this is not the fault of the program or is it?, I had somewhat of a problem removing a couple of Norton files from one of my computers. The other three removed Norton and downloaded Bitdefender easily. But this one......which was kind of confusing since all my Norton was through Comcast over the years.......would not allow me to remove five or so files. These files stopped Bitdefender from downloading.For IT people and the like, probably not a big deal. For me......and I have more experience with computers than most out there....it was a PIA. You have to go in and change administrative preferences and all this other nonsense. It can be done, but not simply. Or you have to buy a 3rd party uninstaller.Why a new program cannot just go in and annihilate all files from the previous security program is confusing, but there it is.Secondly, I tried to install this on my Fire since I had one available device left. Nope. You have to download Google Play and I could not find this on Amazon Apps. Amazon uses a different version of Android made specifically for them. Oh well.......the Fire is a throwaway device so no big deal. Our two IPads do not need 3rd party security, just our HP's. Other than that......very pleased!

  Was easy to set up account, download and start using right away! Once inside the Bitdefender website, you are given clear instructions on how to download and once the product is downloaded, it gives you more instructions with getting it set up. I have it on my desktop computer and my android telephone. I actually used Bitdefender on a previous computer so I remembered that it was easy and I always felt that the protection was the best. I used a couple of other highly rated security programs and one of them I thought was great also, but I thought this offer was really good for the number of devices offered. I think most computer users will like this product as I do.

  I've been using BitDefender for over a year now and can't be more happy with the service. I've used the tech support feature a couple of times and the team was able to resolve my inquires within a couple of minutes. This is very easy and straightforward to install and use. BitDefender Total Security has a lot of great features and the best part is, you can use this on up to five devices. I only have PC and Android phones so I cant attest to how easy the install is for the Mac but given how easy it was to install on my PC and then also on my Android phone I would think that it would be just as easy.You also get a decent amount of features with this version of BitDefender Total Security such as anti-theft, disk optimization, Ransomware, firewall, and antivirus. They also have a VPN feature as well but that comes as an additional cost. I definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for multi function firewall/antivirus with additional bonus features.

  I've been using internet security software since the mid 2090's, having tried the majority of them, and I feel that Bitdefender is the best of the best. Bitdefender has been around for about 20 years and has been the innovator in security software, creating one new technology milestone after another and continually raising the bar in the industry. Bitdefender works in the background without bugging me or hampering my system performance. I feel that it offers the most extra features for my money, features that include a VPN, a file shredder to permanently delete files, a password manager, multiple optimization tools, and even its own internet browser to help secure sensitive online transactions, among other features. Bitdefender also offers optional services that include identity theft protection and remote assistance. It's no wonder Bitdefender has consistently ranked at the top of other security suites tested by independent labs and has won numerous awards in multiple categories.

  Am speaking from personal experience so please take my review with a grain of salt. So buying it was simple and getting an activation code was simple you'll need to create an account. But they won't force you to input your card information in to make the product work or any of the crazy stuff you hear about other similar services. Changing the settings on my devices was very easy and simple to better suit me. I will say I switched over from Mcafee after 2years and the added options and ease of use made me feel more comfortable with the switch. I didn't review the tech support because of the lack of issues I have with it so hopefully I neve have to. One thing I do highly recommend is getting the premium VPN regrettably amazon doesn't sell it so you have to go through Bitdefender they do offer free VPN 200mb a day. But for Premium its unlimited for 10 devices. I won't place the price here because prices do tend to change again my experiences may not be your's so please follow each step given to you for the best outcome.

  I have tried multiple different anti virus software and have not had the chance to try Bitdefender. After doing some research and finding that they consistently have made it to many top 10 lists on tech sites I figured I should give them a try and I am glad I did. Easy to install, easy interface to navigate and the price is good. The best thing about it is that since the installation I have not seen a performance decrease in my computer. Love it. They definitely got themselves a new satisfied customer.

So, I took the plunge and figured I should get the 2yr plan version.Unlike norton, installation was a BREEZE, got my code, downloaded, made account, DONE!!!Norton on the other hand... I give amazon/retailer my hard earned shekels, I get my code, download...oh, you need to create an account, sure why not...oh wait, WHAT? you need my Credit Card? WTF for? I already paid for your plan... but no, You MUST sign up for a renewal BS.... Sorry Norton, Shady practices like this is why people like me looks elsewhere... and don't get me started with the popups trying to upsell me more features, etc... NO NORTON, NO.... LEARN from bitdefender!

  Just like nearly everyone else I jumped ship from Norton because of their completely insane tactic for getting everyone's credit card info after a sale. That's completely unacceptable for a ""security"" company to force people to upload their credit card info somewhere it's not needed. If people wanted the auto-renew feature they'd sign up for it on their own.As for BitDefender, it seems to be doing it's job but then again, how would we know it's not working against a threat until something defeats it??? ALL internet security is a leap of faith. Norton lost my trust. Their idiotic move reminds me of when TurboTax decided to drop Schedule D from their Deluxe version and ""force"" people to upgrade. We didn't, we jumped to TaxCut.

  The last time I renewed my Bitdefender Total Security, I just browsed around a few different software/keys sites, but this was the best deal I fond. Per total devices and per years, this was the best price. Delivery was pretty fast and the card arrived with a small scratch-off surface with the actual activation key on it. Really didn't take long at all to activate. Logged in to my Bitdefender account then added it through the Subscription tab. Although I usually prefer digital downloads this was still a very good deal and easy to take care of.

  You get virus and malware protection and you have programs that you can use to fine tune your computer (or device) so that it runs more efficiently. You have a secure environment for online banking and shopping. The package covers up to 5 computers or devices. Coverage is not for 1 year but for 2 years. It's a really good deal at a really great price. I'm impressed.

  I've used Bitdefender since around 2010, and have never regretted it. It just got another stellar rating on it's virus removal and still is listed as the best value by computer magazines, such as PCMag and PCWorld. as well as Tom's Guide, which has been a reputable source forever. The two year subscription here on Amazon is the best value that I found when it was time to renew my subscription.

  I used Norton for many years until I read the reviews. Bitdefender Total Security 2021 is top of the line and was so easy to install. I installed it on my HP all in one computer and my Samsung Galaxy tablet without any problems ! I like the total protection it gives me and is very user friendly. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for total security!!!

  Did a lot of research on antivirus and VPN for Mac. Decided on Bitdefender purchase through Amazon. Had Bitdefender before, which I let expire and then started fresh. Installation had a few kinks but fairly easily resolved with ""chat"" technical support. One thing to note is that the Amazon download version only allows for 20MB per day using the VPN. I had to pay another $39.99 plus tax for unlimited VPN for one year. Still, a good value, so no major complaints at this time.

  This gives excellent protection and has a number of useful features. It was easy to install and setup. MRG-Effitas gives excellent marks for use in financial sites. The big issue is having to restart my computer for updates. None of my previous AV programs required this. Some of the notifications can be annoying as well. The 2 year license makes this a bargain but 1 year cost is a bit high.

  As Comcast discontinued Norton, needed to find an Antivirus for our various devices, and don't like the fact that many software companies wanted a credit card so they can jump the price of their product in subsequent years. I like that Bitdefender did not take that approach. It's also great that a 2 year option was available so I don't have to purchase a new license right away next year. It was easy to install, and no issues on any of the devices we installed on. Will definitely be repurchasing in 2 years if they stay with this model of selling software.

  Bitdefender is installed on our cellphones, laptops, and desktop. It has been problem-free in all respects. I just added two years to the one year remaining on my subscription. Install it and forget it - you won't even know it's there.As for price, I have found special offers online that make the cost of this excellent product more than reasonable.At the moment, I fully expect to renew it three years from now.
