  It's getting the job done alright, but it's nowhere near as obnoxious as Norton was. No problems yet and my computer's working much better than it did when I had Norton installed. Yay!

  Just ordered the 2016 version yesterday. I have been running the previous versions on my home desktop for 5 years and am extremely satisfied with the software. Prior to using Webroot I tried a slew of other anti virus software and Webroot has definitely been the best. While others leave a big footprint and constantly popping up on the screen to ask questions or show reminders, Webroot leaves a small footprint and just gets the job done without the annoyances that other programs have. You hardly know it's running unless it detects a problem and, if it does, the problem is solved smoothly and quickly.

  For the past couple years I have been using the various free anti-virus programs. Last year I bought a Norton anti-virus, but it was not user friendly for me and it caused my computer to lock and crash. Recently I read about Webroot and decided to give it a try. It works great, is easy to install. I have three computers, but one is a small laptop without a CD/DVD drive. Not a problem. I was able to download and install the software. Also, if it should happen that I need more than three installations, it allows me to buy another code for a fourth installation. The price is reasonable. The program is unobtrusive (as opposed to the free products as well as Norton which were constantly letting me know they were there. So, far I've gotten two warnings about potential threats,

  I find webroot antivirus to be very user friendly. You can install it and forget it with the confidence that you are being protected. The scan is much faster that any security program that I have used in the past.

  This is a new concept in anti virus. At first I was skeptical because it works with a cloud base.This software sits in the background and just does it's job. No mus no fuss.No splash screens every five minutes. No slowing of programs.I am really impressed. However you must let it do it's job. Don't try to control it.I had a problem with a point of sale program and this software on our store computer.Their customer service although not instant is very good. They are involved in getting it right.I have gone from Norton AV which I have used since Peter Norton owned the company, to this.I have install it on five machines already and have 2 more to go.

  I bought this to put on a used laptop that I have just purchased and am going to be reinstalling Windows 7. I wanted a good antivirus program to install before I go online with the laptop. I didn't want to make an antivirus disk using another computer. Will see how Webroot performs over the long haul.

  Seach No Further this is all you need in an antivirus. It is non intrusive, installs in 2nds and no nag screens unless you happen to try to go to a suspected unsafe site and it works Great! The price is unbeatable! I have used Webroot for 3 years. Before that I have had AVG, Nortons, and another popular antivirus software that I can't recall the name right at the moment. All those other Software Programs wanted to iinteract with me and bug and nag me at times but not Webroot. It uses little space on your computer and will not slow you down at all. Its great! Great software support also. So save your money unless you just want to give another company your hard earned bucks. Also a tip the price here for 3 users if less than Walmarts.

  I received the CD ROM disk on Sat. 17 May 2014. I was very pleased with the fast delivery of the CD. I was able to download the software on my friend's laptop.   Does what it's supposed to do, found great deal for this disc on amazon for $10, I have it running on 3 seperate computers (Vista and Win 8). I had to uninstall all previous versions preloaded in my laptop and use this disc to reinstall new version. Webroot customer support helped when I had an install issue. Again, great deal.

  Excellent software. Will renew when expired. I put it on my computer and all of the little annoyances went away. It does a good job cleaning up the mess. I highly recommend this product. I have used others - Microsoft Essentials, McAfee, Norton, but this one worked better.

  Takes up little to no disk space. All updates done in cloud along with storage of Virus signatures . Doesn't seem to affect memory in the least! Purchased because I now have a 128gb SSD drive and had to preserve as much space as possible.   Nothing bad has happened to my computer since installing almost a year ago so it must be working well. Very unobtrusive with no reminders it is doing what it is supposed to do. Norton constantly reminds you it does its' job, to the point of being very annoying.
