  I've been fixing computers since I was about 6 years old when computers boomed in 2098 which had most American households owning some kind of computer. I've dealt with several different anti-viruses such as Norton, McAfee (before they merged with Norton or whatever happened), Kasperski, and several others like AVP.Now to the point...This is by far my favorite anti virus on the market! I originally had my friend who works at geek squad recommend me to this anti virus once Kasperski got ridiculously expensive and slow. I've had this anti-virus for about 8 months (I got a trial from Best Buy when I bought my new laptop) and I have never experienced such a quality anti virus. Instantly detects and deletes viruses and does a scan quickly. I see why my work uses this anti virus.Pros:- Instant scans! The full computer scans are very quick and efficient. Instantly deals with viruses and whatever the problem is the second it gets on my computer.- Doesn't take that much memory on my computer! Which is great when you are a student and can only afford a business/school laptop with low memory. Like in my case the Lenovo 100s (Which I absolutely love! It's great for the college student who just needs the basics for internet browsing and paper writing).- Cheap price! For what you get for $20 on 3 computers for a year, its incredible.Honestly no cons.

  I manage some 20 PC's for a non-profit organization. I've been using Webroot for 5 years or more and it's: (1) easy to install , (2) simple to use, (3) doesn't use a lot of resources and (4) doesn't bother my users unless they're trying to do something dangerous. I don't know if it's the BEST product out there, put it certainly seems to continue to work well in our environment.

  I've been using Webroot for about 5 years now and have never had a virus infect my computer. It's worked great for me - this year I put on all 3 of our computers as I found it to be the most effective antivirus program I could buy. It's also cloud based so it's always up to date.

  INSTALLED THIS YESTERDAY ON NEW LAPTOP AND BY FAR, IT WAS THE EASIEST INSTALLATION OF ANY ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE I HAVE EVER HAD - AND I HAVE BOUGHT A LOT OF DIFFERENT BRANDS OVER THE PAST TWENTY YEARS. GOOD PRICE FOR 3 DEVICES AND IS DOING THE JOB OF MUCH PRICER BRANDS THAT CAN BE A BEAR TO INSTALL. THE NEW LAPTOP DID COME WITH MCAFEE ALREADY ON IT, SO I UNINSTALLED IT IMMEDIATELY SO AS NOT TO HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH INSTALLING THE WEBROOT. WEBROOT, AFTER JUST A FEW MODIFICATIONS, JUST SITS QUIETLY IN THE BACKGROUND WITHOUT THE CONSTANT INTERRUPTIONS THAT MOST OTHERS SEEM TO HAVE THE HABIT OF DOING THESE DAYS.   A while ago I had a virus on my PC and this was the only program able to detect and remove it at the time. It scans quickly and doesn't cause my laptop to lag. I purchased the CD on Prime Day and it was as easy as just typing in the code that came with it to renew my subscription.

  I bought a new macbookpro at bestbuy. bestbuy gave me a free 6 months but when it was time to renew bestbuy the renew fee was 50 dollars. I uninstalled it and bought the mac and pc cd version it only cost me 20 dollars :) the sofware itself is very easy to use i like it over norton or avg or other titles.

  I've been with Webroot for about 3-years and it's still as good as ever and light years better then Norton. I've reviewed prior versions before but the renew process for it is a breeze... just open your account, type in the new number and you're done. The only downside is your 365-days begins the day you renew and you lose whatever days you may have had left on the expiring version so if already have it and can put up up all those annoying popup reminders to renew wait until the last few days before you enter that new number.

  This program is definitely the best I have ever used. I've tried several others paid for or free and Webroot beats them all. Runs so smoothly and quietly in the background that you would forget it's there except for it briefly showing on your desktop at start. Other antivirus programs have slowed my system down, but not WebRoot. Try it, you'll like it.

  Look this program. I like it better than the Kaspersky I had earlier. It seems, to me, to be more automatic. This is perhaps unfair, but it is American made, and I came to understand that some other security programs are Russian or otherwise foreign made. In that a lot of hacking comes from abroad, that made me seek out an American made security program.

  Found out through some research that it's cheaper to buy new on Amazon than renew this virus protection from within my already installed Webroot on my laptop. Pricing for the same product is half as much to buy it online than to renew through the already installed software. At any rate, it's still working great! I have used this brand for many years now without any issues! Very happy with its reliability for protecting the computer.

  I couldn't get it to load into the computer. I contacted Webroot and they had a real person from America, explain that having a almost expired version in the computer was blocking the install. All I had to was go into the existing Webroot under personal and put in the new code. Worked great and they never even laughed at me.

  Excellent program, runs in the background. I had not used Anti-Virus protection in years, as Macintosh is ""relatively"" immune. I had recently downloaded 'Mac Cleaner' and that is when the apparent problems began. Virtually every time I clicked while running Safari, I would get a new screen 'warning' of a new virus infection. These screens looked official and many appeared to be actual Apple sites. I once followed the prompts and ultimately this led to a ""purchase screen"" for their 'advanced' product. I seems that the program was loaded with issues that automatically prompted virus alerts.Webroot cleared all these issues on the first scan. I am sure other brands of virus protection work well. In the 'olden days - from 2087 to 2008.... I still have my first Mac SE', I used Norton software, which worked extremely well for protection, backup, etc. Since purchasing my first laptop in 2008 however, no additional protection software seemed necessary, at the time. Times have changed. I tried Trend Micro, but had download issues from the vendor, and finally requested and received a refund. After reading multiple reviews, I selected Webroot and so far, am pleased.This Webroot program offers protection at a reasonable price.

  Installed on my IMac. I have used Norton, McAfee, Kaspersky, and free antivirus software. These programs may be better suited for PC's but Webroot has worked best for me on the Mac. Is not intrusive and keeps my Mac clean. Does not have all the bells and whistles that other antivirus programs have, but you don't really need them with the Apple software. Furthermore, Webroot is less costly. It does not try to continuously try to sell you on upgrading to a ""premium"" version and does not interrupt with messages and bulletins. I have never needed to use any tech support so can't rate that feature. Basically, once installed it runs itself.

  The is my third year of using Webroot. It does not seem to slow down my ancient Win7 computer, which has not become infected. When it discovered a potential threat, Webroot found and quarantined it. Over the years I've used many different AV programs, and Webroot ranks well in comparison. I've used many ""free"" AV programs, only one of which did not use ""nagware"" to get me to buy the full version and that one is no longer ""free."" I bought the disk not the download version. I'd say if you want a good AV program and don't need things like ID protection, Webroot is fine.

  I'm very pleased with Webroot. The software has done a splendid job on my Mini-Mac. It was badly infected, and the situation seemed hopeless. Webroot took care of mess in about two weeks. I urge you to contact them for further assistance. It may also behoove you to join the membershipdiscussion groups. Webroot also warns you if a website might be a threat to your machine.

  I have been using webroot virus protection for years... I usually buy the electronic version, where you are given a key code to enter into your already existing webroot console. I love that you can use it on three devises. I have never had webroot miss a virus and I really like that it checks for updates and installs them without interrupting what you are doing. It does the same on running scans. You will not be interrupted unless its important. I had to purchase and wait for the disk this year .. THATS NO BIG DEAL FOR THIS AWESOME PRODUCT THAT WILL PROTECT THREE OF YOUR DEVISES FOR A YEAR... all for $20.00 ??

Never understood why the CD (physical) version is cheaper than the (download) Renewal version. Same program, same features. For me, If you can wait to get the CD, you'll save money.

  Got this to install in my brothers Iaptop. I've used Webroot for years and always recommend to family & friends, bc it's easy to install, pretty inexpensive, uses minimal system resources, incorporates one of the fastest virus scanners around, & uses the cloud so no virus signature updates are necessary, ever. All this adds up to being one of the best Antivirus/anti-malware products on the market today.The only caveat is what a few others have noted in their reviews too: To renew your subscription after your initial one expires in a year, Webroot typically wants nearly 3 to 4 times your original purchase price (~ $79) to simply renew exact same product for another year. Not a newly updated program either mind you, just to buy a new license key. It's often cheaper to simply buy a new Webroot product CD online or in a retail store than it is to renew your subscription. Not a deal breaker though, just a notable exception workaround for future reference.... Unless of course, you don't mind paying for their exhorbitant renewal rate. It's still a fantastic program nonetheless & I still highly recommend it. Thanks Amazon & Webroot!

  Works as described. Doesn't seem to overload the system and you hardly know it's on the computer. It does its thing in the background. I do like how it warns you when you go to a sketchy website. That's a nice feature.

  I have used almost every AV/malware system over the years. The latest before Webroot IS Complete was Malware Bytes Windows Defender. The Webroot system is smaller, faster, and seems to be very reliable.The real key is this Webroot package is the best value out there: 5 machines for 2 years. That's a deal. I also had zero problem with the download and installation. It went very smooth on every machine.

  I'm not sure why there are bad reviews I have been using Webroot for years and the price for the 2-year plan is outstanding. It was easy to install on my 2 laptops and my Android phone. I will continually use Webroot again and I have recommended this product to family and friends.

  This is great software, and I've been using it for years. It's caught a few threats along the way, and as far as I know it's never been compromised. Meanwhile, the overhead on Windows 10 is much lower than the overhead with any other antivirus software I've tried.SecureAnywhere is great, but it's expensive to buy from Webroot. You can save substantial money buying your renewals here. Hint: Don't activate your renewal until the day your old subscription expires. It doesn't extend your previous subscription, but replaces it. You can buy now and have it ready, but you should activate it only when the old one expires. (When the old one expires, just enter the new key code. As long as you are replacing like editions, that's the whole process.)

  My company has the business version of this which is why I chose this software for personal use.Its footprint on your computer is minimal. Antivirus scans are quick, and the program is easy to use.Webroot also has a central dashboard that allows me to manage and review the systems I have the product installed on, which is nice. For me, it is just piece of mind. Augment this software with MalwareBytes Free, and you will be fine.

  I have used Webroot for 3 years now and the only thing I dislike is the bloated price when one goes to renew (make sure you contact webroot and have them remove your credit card info so you aren't charge at the end of your sub period). First off this is a very good AV software. Fast, and has caught things that should not have been there (I play WOW and this software actually caught a virus in their launcher program). I bought this version of 5 devices for 2 years - it went over a 5 device for 1 year with no problem. Usable on Windows, Mac, iPhones, iPads, and android devices.

  I have tried virtually all of the competition out there. This program works well on my high end desktop with Threadripper processor and also works well with a laptop with only 8 megs of ram. Has already caught a couple of viruses out there. I am a CPA and need software that does not interfere with the intense processing of a a high end commercial tax software package.

  I have nothing bad to say. I have a large family and everyone has laptops. I’ve been using webroot for over 8 years and will continue to do so. It has a very easy user interface to schedule scans so you are completely worry free.

  I have used WebRoot for several years and have had good success with protecting my computer. This is the first time I have used a download and I must say it was a very easy process. You do have to use your search engine to find the site (WebRoot download) to use the download product key after that it only took a few minutes and the software was loaded and working. The Price is spectacular!!!

  Have been using Webroot for going on 7 years now no issues at all, I used Norton back then and had viruses. So I will stick with what I know has always made sure computer is scanned and current up date date.

  I have had Norton and McAfee years ago. For the past few years I have been ordering this and the digital download is easy. Just cut and paste product code into the box and it loads great, used on desktop, laptop and kindle. Much better price for the two year subscription.

  I'd had this for two or three weeks. No issues so far and I haven't been hacked. I had some trouble locating the product key when I needed it a second time. For reference, customers can locate the product key in your Software Library. The price was nice for a two year subscription, but I personally think that the same level of anti-virus software should be included with the operating system. I also don't like that autopay is required. Autopay seems like a shady business practice to me.
