  Over the years I have used them all. Avast! Internet Security is by far the best I have ever used. Its security tools are state of the art and easily surpasses the other av products on the market. It is affordable and I recommend it to anyone looking for superior internet security.

  Avast is continually monitoring and updating, often multiple times daily, according to the threats. I have had multiple attempts made from internet sources to access my pc, but Avast stopped them and alerted me. Since using Avast, I've had no problems with security.

  I have been using Avast since 2007!The ""schedule boot time scan"" feature is what sold me and continues to do so!Now, I like the Rescue Disc and Remote Access options.Avast just keeps getting better and better.

  My daughter, the computer guru, tweaked a new computer for me 3 years ago and installed avast because it was free. I liked it so much I upgraded not for the additional benefits but to show my appreciation to the company that wrote this program. Paid bennies are great.

  I worked with computers for almost 10 years now, and I have used most of the Antiviruses on the market. By far this is the best one I have used. Never had an issue with viruses, it is not constantly popping up in my face while I am working, and it is simple for even the least computer savvy person to use. I recommend it to everyone.

  I was allowed to use the product free for 11 mos. I then decided to pay for coverage. It was more reasonable then my previous anti-spyware. It updates frequently and I haven't had any problems with running it. Seems like very complete coverage.

  I have used avast! Antivirus for several years now. There are three things that I love about it. (1) avast! is vary fast and lightweight on my computer. (2) It offers so many tools for securing your computer and even has a virus scanner that you can activate before the computer even boots up. (3) It's inexpensive compared to many other antivirus competitors but has all of the same features.I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new antivirus and general security product!

  I ran Norton for several years, and was a loyal customer. I switched to Avast after reading reviews online, and checking the cost comparison.   If you've been around computers for more than 30 years you don't need much support, but if all you do is Office applications for the most part then you need some help (and some protection) from old Java software runtime programs and other necessary but arcane ilk. Avast was installed on my laptop and it's supported by the guru company I always call on if anything goes wrong. They continue to support the laptop and Avast, and I upgraded from free Avast to paid.

  I first got Avast! on a free download site and tried it for 12 months. I was so impressed that I purchased another 12 months even though I am a very frugal person. I rarely pay for anything online. But, I do watch a lot of movies on iffy/devious websites, and Avast! has blocked every vicious virus that has been thrown my way. I am not a person prone to giving compliments, but this is the best anti-virus program that is being sold right now, hands down.The Crashman

  Avast does an exceptional job of guarding against internet viruses and worms. A remarkable piece of software and it functions really well in the background requiring almost no attention.It does beep and flash a message window on the screen when it detects/prevents a bad thing from happening when you're on the Internet.

  I have had other internet security suites that seemed to work well. This one works as well as any I have purchased or downloaded. I even forget I have it until it warns me of a problem. Matched with their anti-virus software makes this the best I have found to keep my laptop running without problems.

  I have been using avast for several years. It has a simple to use interface and finds everything that could compromise the stability of my machines without overloading the machine. It updates daily and announces through the speakers (has silent mode for gaming too) if anything suspicious is found. It reminds you when you should scan and does a thorough job. I would highly recommend this to anyone who searches the web often or is a gamer.

  My son has been using AVAST for some time now and has full confidence in it as a protection for his computer. I check my system constantly and AVAST it doing a good job.   I have tried both McAfee & Norton. While using both these antivirus programs, I had a virus disable first Norton & hijack my computer. Next, I installed McAfee & the same thing happened again. It was a pain to get the computer back up & running. I next installed Avast & after using it for approximately 4 years, I have not had 1 problem with a virus. This antivirus works.

  i have had no problems sense day one when my tech installed it 2 yrs ago. Norton is a pig and doesn't play well with all my sons software. I am a 76 yr old women legally blind and know nothing about computers, Avast has kept my computer problem free , as my son says download it install it and leave it alone and that's what I do.   No a.v. software can guarantee it will catch everything but this one has done exactly that for the many years I've used it. Installation has always been a snap. Often more-than-once-daily updates are automatic, interface is easy to use, some handy extras, and it doesn't add unnecessary crap to my machine or slow things down. The only thing that would make it better is if they would sell it cheaper.

  Avast does not slow down your computer like Norton and McAfee, at least in my experience. The Avast update system is easy to setup. I have not had any security problems since using the Avast paid version, although the free version also worked well. However, the paid version has many more features and security features.

  Automatic updates and blocks all annoying pop up pages. No need to worry about new viruses. Very easy to use.

  Been using it for the past 3 years. When I go to check on client's PC's that are having issues, and see they don't have anything protecting their system, I always download Avast.

  I have used and recommended Avast for years, they are one of the best in class. I am an IT professional and one of the biggest reasons I love this product is because it is not resource intensive but protects your data just as well or better than other products. Their customer support is awesome, but I never have to contact them because the product is stable and easy to use.

  Before Avast, I was hit time and again by viruses, although I had Internet security software. I've never had an infection since migrating to Avast. I like the way it update the program nearly everyday. That gives me confidence that I'm as well protected as possible.

  I choose this rating because for me it has been the best every.. I am very satisfied with Avast I am not worried about waking up to my pc being full of viruses. In fact I have the paid version but before I got that I had Avast free and it worked well

  My family has used the free Avast in the past, but we chose to pay this time because of the volume of work we do and since we use so many public wi-fi hotspots. Avast has not failed us. In fact, we now use it on our phone for free and we plan to upgrade further in the future.

  The reboot kills all virus,Have tried them all over the past 15 years once I tried Avast I stopped trying. The security webpage checks help when searching the internet.
