  If you are having problems with install and firewall here is the fix's.Install problems with Ultimate. If you have any previous copy of AVG or Tuneup trial products installed on the PC that you want to upgrade, you may have problems with the upgrade and with the install and activation.Here is the fix’s.Step 1: Uninstall all previous AVG software go in to control panel it is under programs and features. Restart your PC after it is removed.Step 2: If you are going to remove all of AVG products, click on My PC or This PC double click on C: drive and go into program (86) file look for AVG folder and delete that folder. Otherwise open the file and delete the product that you will upgrade. CloseStep 3: Right click on C: Drive go to properties and open. You will see a box labeled Disk Clean, click on it to run. Next you will see a box labeled Clean Up System Files, click on that and let it run when it’s complete, click on More Options. Go down to System Restore and Shadow Copies. Click on Clean Up boxes. Wait a good 30 seconds than click Ok, for cleanup process to begin. It will ask you if you want to delete files. Click yes, and once done restart your PC. Now it is ready for the new software install.Step 4: You will activate your first copy as the administrator on that PC. You will send out invite to the other PC that you want to protect.

  This product has kept my computer safe for a long time and is cheaper here than the AVG company selling it online. What the home company sells is twice the price of the Amazon product as for the same price Amazon offers two years against the company's one year - and for the same price.

  I had used the free version of AVG on one Windows XP computer for several months, because the McAfee was not working right any more. When the McAfee subscription ran out on our other two computers I placed trial versions of AVG on all 3 computers. When the trial version was about to run out I purchased the AVG Ultimate 2020 2 year version. I've spent about two days getting everything set up, including various tests, etc. It would have gone faster if I had removed the AVG trial version first when removing the trial version it gives you the choice to reinstall the free version and that is what a person should do. Before beginning to install AVG, make sure you know the name of your network if you have two or more computers on a network on which you'll place AVG. When getting the code in the email or on the web after purchasing the AVG product, make sure you write it down! When you get your user name and password on AVG's web site, make sure you write that down also! When you install the software everything goes rather smoothly if you followed the steps correctly. I had a problem on one computer with an error in the software, but it asked whether I wanted to repair the software--I said yes and after several minutes everything was working OK. The Tuneup package gives a lot of ways to enhance the performance of the computer it can take a lot of time to perform even some of the tasks!!

  Certainly worth good consideration even if you already have Mobile or Desktop VPN Protection Services for example.Simply speaking the user interface and comprehensive protection at such a value price makes this product very competitive all round solution (including : Virus Scans, Security Scans, Optimization etc)Other vendor single feature services such as VPN do offer much more configurable capabilities (which I do retain for devices requiring that) , however potentially for most users AGV offers all that is needed.Multi-year, Multi-device plans are at unbeatable prices.Virus threats effectively alerted and not yet encountered any ransom issues since using the product - a trusted solution.

  Great value for money, multiple devices, security and peace of mind, but better than that central visibility and management of condition of each device. Also optimization, I did not think I would like it so much. IT can really speed up Windows boot time, holding programs from loading into memory during during boot time and loading them as soon as you need them. There are so many programs and apps that load that you do not need, but they want to monitor you. stopping them loading speeds boot time, but also general operation with more memory and processor availability.I have had some issues with Windows 10 upgrades and the support help-desk were of little help and simply tried to sell me a support contract for more than the cost of the product.

  Simply an amazing deal if you have multiple computers and devices. I was just going to continue my AVG Internet Security on my computer when I looked around and found this. I always thought that their should be some way to get a multi-user program to extend to my phone- I was frustrated that I was asked to purchase the Android AVG app separately (and for each device). With this, I get coverage on all PCs, tablets and phones for one price, which is way less than what AVG wanted me to pay for just the AVG/IS renewal. And the PC Tune-up is just a bonus. Is definitely all working well.

  Outstanding, as usual. I have had nothing but AVG protecting mine and my family's computers for 5 years and none of them have ever had any problem with a virus. Furthermore, the PC TuneUp is a great add-on. My laptop is 6 years old and it still runs like a champ.NOTE: ALWAYS uninstall previous AVG versions before installing a new AVG version. If you can't get an older version to completely uninstall then go to AVG's web site and download their uninstaller for the version you have. This is the only ""negative"" to AVG but it is a small inconvenience for the other 364 days of bliss.

  I was skeptical at first to purchase this after all the negative and so-so reviews about how hard this is to install. I'm good with computers and software installation, so I took the leap and bought it despite the reviews. I was confused at first because all Amazon gives you is a license, but their is nowhere in Zen to put a code. So, I turned to the AVG website and used their live chat where I felt like an idiot because of how simple this is. Turns out the setup process for this is the most ridiculously easy process as long as you know where to start. Let me share the secret so that anyone having problems can get this up and running fast.Go to:https://app.avg.com/us-en/codePaste in the code Amazon gave you.-Note: Make sure you have setup a MyAVG Account. If you haven't then go here first: https://myaccount.avg.com/ and setup an account with the email address you want everything connected through.Scroll down to the bottom and hit ""Activate Now"".-It should then give you the option to Download for all the various devices this thing covers. I had been using the 30 day free trial so I was able to skip that download step. If you haven't been using the free trial then go ahead and download it from here. If you have used the free trial then move onto the next step.Go to your already installed AVG Zen and at the top right of the screen look for the connect button which is right next to the messages button. In my case that shows the email address the account is setup through. It showed ""connected"" after I did the update because of the trial I'd been using so click on that and choose to logout. You'll need to refresh your login for Zen to recognize your new license.It should now give you the option to log back in. Be sure to select the option to login with a MyAVG Account. Use the exact credentials you used when you registered your license.Now that you are logged in it'll flash a few times as it connects with your account and recognizes your license. It'll say you're not protected for a moment as it switches from your free trial to your license.   offers just the right balence between performence and security. I have not had any slow downs, but again i have a medium-high performence PC not very many software applications slow it down. Overall a good product been using AVg for 2 years and have not had any virus left on my computer, the scanner always found and cleaned right away.

  I went with webroot and some other better rated system 8 thing for a year. After a year of no avg I'm ready to come back to AVG. My multiple computers all run better with avg. And it's a big difference. No blue screens and other BS the others caused. I run it on 7 computers running Win 7 to 8.1. Make sure you follow amazon's download and install, which I initially didn't do. That was my fault, what a pain.

  This product has exceeded my expectations.My wife and have been using bit defender for the past couple years, if bough on sale its fairly affordable. However this year my primary computer contracted a virus and then wouldn't clear it out so I had to reformat the HDD and reinstall everything. When I went to install Bit Defender I received a message that this license key has already been used. I looked at the other computer in our house that was setup at the same time and realized I only 3 months left on my bit defender anyway I decided to purchase a new anti-virus.As i began looking and reading reviews AVG had a good product and in some cases better than Bit Defender for security but lacked some of the system maintenance tools. This program not only has a great anti-virus and is extremely easy to use it also allows as many installs as I want and covers my mobile devices too. Currently I have it installed on 5 computers 2 tablets and 2 cell phones, I just bought a new computer and will be installing it on that one next week. I also really like that from any device I use I can see the status of my other devices and if they are current and protected.IN MY OPINION this would be great for anyone with a multi device household or a small or family business I can't brag enough about the level of protection, the ease of installation and maintenance or the amount of devices and types it covers.Thanks AVG and Amazon for this terrific product and value

  The problem is the product Key. You need to get a valid product key from AVG, because the product key amazon provide it is just for reference it does't work. I dit it and the software it is working a really good.

  Until now better than what I had before... I bought this, to replace another top antivirus software because my computer was having some problems. This came with extra software to tune up and the price was unbeatable... Antivirus found and cleaned a few viruses on my computer and to my surprise fixed the issues and problems that where present on my system, saving me the time of reformatting and rebooting.... have installed on all my computers and devises and I am very satisfied.

  So far, it seems to be working well, there was a small problem with the download, but the guys from Amazon helped to correct the problem.....stuff happens. Only thing is, you don't get their firewall with this version, you have to turn on the firewall that is located in control panel on your PC.Such a deal, I had 3 PC's to put a virus program on after MSE refused to support XP.Yes, I will recommend this product.
