  I have been using Avast since 2005 and I have never had problems with any of my computers. Anytime I go to a bad site (like Yahoo!) it warns me when they have been hacked or compromised. I've always trusted them and have a lot of faith in their software quality.

  I used this rating because Avast is the best antivirus I have ever had,there are so many good things to say about it,it isn't expensive for one thing,it works in the backgriound,updates itself automatically,updates other pertinent apps,runs my firewall,investigates other apps,I would and do recommend it to anyone that wants a good antivirus that won't try to stop you from going wherever you want to go on the internet,they will warn you,yes,but unlike Norton and McAfee,they don't forbid you to go there.I love Avast antivirus.I've had them about six or seven years now.

  I am an IT professional, did quite a bit of research into this software. This is the best that I have ever used. I have used quite a few. Even the free version is the best, have never seen a free version do a boot time scan, I recommend the internet security 2020 to everyone!

  I feel so much safer knowing Avast! is protecting my computer from viruses! It's updated daily to protect me from the latest forms of attacks from the Internet. It doesn't exceed what I've asked it to do for me and it doesn't barrage me with upgrade requests either. I've been very happy with Avast! for two years.

  I've been using avast since late 2010 and I love it~ Its been keeping me safe since then and to my knowledge I've never gotten infected. I mean avast is so good it can even detect an attack that's running with in a virtual machine(when avast is running on the HOST OS). The only downside is that the GUI has changed but thats just a small down point as its quickly and easily back up to speed on where to find things~P.S.""AVAST! virus database has been updated.""

  A friend familiar with computers advised that I use Avast.I tried it and found it to be easy, and dependable.I actually purchased the maintenance program after 5 years and have used their service 2 times so far this year. It turns out to be cheaper than calling a technician to come make repairs.Having Avast gives me a secure feeling with my computer.I would advice Avast to anyone interested in a dependable software.

  Have been using Avast security for several years now,on my desktop and laptop,it has kept me safe and trouble free on line. The new user interface is doddle to use,great security tools such as browser clean up and safezone (for banking,a must) and unlike some other big name security programs it doesn't slow you pc down or annoy you by constantly popping up warning about obvious non threats.   I had a problem when I forgot my password so I took it off of my Kindle Fire. I do like ot and I have it on my PC. There was no way to get my password back on my kindle. There should be a way to recover it but I have no idea.

  This Anti virus software is really protect my son't PC no lAGging when he plays the variaty of games. On the actual website it cost more expensive, but Amazon sells it more lower then anywhere. I'll renew the software when it expires. Highly recommended.

However, this was a genuine a bass product at an extremely low price for a two-year period. the product was as described and works great.   2 Years and 5 machines protection for literally half the money Avast charges for 1 year single machine, plus added premium features.   Thank goodness for the person who reviewed this product and gave great instructions on install. This is an incredibly easy to install and i think its optimized my speed. They said to choose ""Customization"" ...read and choose what you want. Then go into menu and under license put your license number in to activate it...put it in exactly as stated. You have to click on the ""digital"" of your amazon receipt in ""My orders""....thanks to the other reviewer ...I am a fan of this virus protection.

  Really impressed with price for comprehensive protection to include cleaner and VPN. I was already using Avast on one of my computers so as that license expired I decided to use Avast Ultimate on all of my devices. I trust the protection. The install for what are in effect three separate programs was a little more complicated than it needs to be but I still set everything up quickly. Highly recommend.

  I read the good and the bad reviews and really wasn't sure. The questions asked and answered helped some also. I felt the Lord saying yes and clicked it. All I had to do was click on Menu on my old Avast and click on Subscriptions and put in the activation code and click ok when it showed what I was getting and the one year date for all. The VPN did not show as a part of that at first but did down below with the right ending date. My present subscription below showed what I already had and the ending date in a few days. I clicked the VPN and installed it and it did not work at first but after a restart there it was. I think that was because I had uninstalled it before from my present Avast thinking it was causing problems with their driver updater and giving me malware warnings that Avast said it had saved me from. What was really causing me to get the many warnings was the EXE from the Avast Browser install that had been done for their browser. I even found a warning about a possible trojan from their browser EXE on their support page. Since I removed their browser less than five warnings of any trouble saved by them have flashed on the screen in more than a month. Also I will say their VPN is working beautiful on the Amazon one. Thank you for that and God Bless You. I also had a 10 dollar gift available that I could use toward the cost of 39.99 so another blessing from God.

  This works. Ignore the negative comments. I have been using avast for years, even have the cleanup as well. Since I had it before all I did was enter the activation code. And that's it, 2 years protection for the price of 1. Just wish I discovered this sooner. I would advise waiting for you previous subscription to finish before putting the new code. The response to the question implied that I would keep my days plus the addition 2 years but that didn't happen. Oh well I only lost 25 days.This really works and it is so much more affordable. My computer runs smoothly, the cleanup i would recommend even if it's a bit expensive. I'm not a tech person so I like the simple stuff.If this is your first time using avast download then go under my license, you will see ""enter activation code"" , enter the long code there and your done.You can also customize to avoid the ads for other products like the cleanup and vpn by going under settings , general, privacy. Simply uncheck the boxes.Hope this helps

  I want to first off address a couple of items that people were confused with since I almost didn't purchase the product because of these negative reviews. But I did and here's what I found:1) You can CUSTOMIZE your install to remove annoying components like ""Software Updater"" and ""SafePrice"" -- just read the short description for each by clicking on the ""?"" icon and decide for yourself if you want it installed. Look for the option to customize your install at the BEGINNING of the installation. ""Customize"" is in smaller font below the big ""INSTALL"" button - if you click install, it will install everything.If you have already installed everything you have 2 options: 1) uninstall and reinstall by using the customize option, or 2) go to the Components tab and uninstall/remove components that you do not want. NOTE: If you install ""VPN"" or ""Passwords"" you will have to purchase them separately after installation.2) The subscription is for 2 years (or 730 days). It starts off as 30 days so you have to ACTIVATE your software. Here's how. Open up the Avast Internet Security panel > Subscriptions > Enter the Activation Code (found in your Amazon purchase history or software library). Then it will prompt you to register. After you register, the 2 years will show for your subscription.Hope that helps.

  At first I was very disappointed as it appeared after downloading and using the cleaner that I was going to have to pay more for the cleaner function, but then I realized that I had not inputted my activation code!   The product is comparable too other virus programs(Norton, McAffee, etc.) but the price was incredible. Two years of protection for five devices for $44.00 is pretty insane!

  So Far, So Good. Just bought a new DELL Desktop. My Techie Friend recommended that either AVG or Avast for my home use. I had Avast for years with my old computer so I am giving this a shot. Simple to install. It appears to be doing its job.

  i don't know why others weren't able to make the key work. But I did. Found the key in amazon digital library. Copy and pasted it to the license authorization on my existing avg account. Then i was able to choose it as a current license over my old one for the other softwares. It comes with several. I kept my internet security that i paid for recently before purchasing this one. Im glad it offers me the option to choose licenses. Love that it comes with vpn

  This was an incredible deal. I've used their VPN and Internet Security for many years now and haven't ever had issues despite all the shady places I've been, things I've downloaded, and scam emails I've accidentally opened. The company is constantly trying to up sell you and make sure you take off auto renewal as buying via Amazon is always MUCH cheaper than their digital ""deals"". Good product.
