  Customer service was helpful in clearing up any questions I had with their services and options. Order shipped very quickly and was well packaged to prevent damage to the hides. Hides came in with minimal imperfections, 3 marks, one of which looked like a scratch from the person who handled the order. Very happy with the quality and services. Splitting services split the hide evenly and did a great job will use them again.

  The leather is perfect for my needs, good quality with high cutting yield. One skin was a different colour from sample sent, luckily my client liked it and was happy for me to make their bag in this new colour.

  The choice of leathers and descriptions are great. However, shipping is unreliable. It is slow and inaccurately advertised. Last time, I paid for a DHL delivery within 3-4 days. I had to wait for two weeks, and somehow I got redirected to UPS, which is not at all the same as DHL. I wouldn't risk making an express order here, would be money wasted.

  The half hides were very disappointing. I asked for not too thick leather. The leather came and it is very thick and hard not suitable for the sewing machine so I will not be able to use them. The remnants are just perfect they will sew well and make small things, so I’m pleased with them. My problem but I didn’t anticipate import taxes so it was very expensive.

  Hello Marianne Thanks for the order and feedback You indicated in order notes “Colourful pieces not too thick” This doesn’t means nothing to us if not only referred to the mixed item you ordered “remnants” Indeed for normal leathers you need to request custom splitting to a desired thickness! You find this info in many parts of our website With no indications leather is sent at original thickness If you do not require the splitting service we send leather at original thickness, as we though the note was only referred to scraps, because you need to indicate an exact thickness reduction that can be 1mm, 1,2mm, 1,5mm and so on.. like all customers do ;) So pls consider to make a return and have it split down if you cannot use it Also pls not that the “bad” review is not justified in our opinion Let us know how we can help you

  When things go wrong, they fix it. That's worth something and well appreciated. As far as the leather goes, I have always favored BLO as their un-dyed veg- tan is high grade with practically no waste. As a purchaser always make sure you measure.

  Good service, fast, good leather. Size was at best equal to minimum size, probably just under. So more than 3 sq feet less than stated average size. Results in 20% + price increase from stated average size. Probably wouldn’t return anyway but can’t due to having it split to 1.2 mm. Splitting service looks good - slightly over 1.2 mm.

  some of the hides are much smaller (1.15) than expected. However, the leather is absolutely top notch. We produce products in the interior sector and our customers are thrilled.   What I really love about this company, is the prompt action upon placing an order. The tracking number is given when it’s about to be picked up. So you don’t get a pointless “shipping label created” message only to wait days for the product to actually begin moving. Shipping to the states was only one day longer than the estimated arrival time via DHL, which is not common for EU/UK to Atlanta. Usually it’s at least a couple days longer, up to a week or more late. Excellent quality, order process and turnaround time. Very pleased.

  I found that all dealings with this company has been first rate! Taking Britain out of the Common Market has been an expensive blow but I have decided that the products I buy are still good value and hope that the situation gets better!! Since my livelihood does not depend on leather I can afford to be choosy and value the right category of leather for the project in mind. As an 80 year old who prefers leather work to television I am well served with this “hobby “ even at Continental prices!
