I messaged the company looking for a leather that was in a 1 to 2 ounce leather that was stretchable. Tommaso Ciardi messaged back and told me the tanned goatskin was what I was looking for. I purchased and it arrived in a timely matter. However, the leather was heavier and no stretch. It had numbers of a 41, 45 on the hides. I needed the leather for leather-wrapped pads. So this leather is useless to me and disappointing that it was not what Tommasso said. Since this shipped from Italy it is not an easy return.

i was disappointed in the cost. i greed to pay £130 for the leather and then on top of this you add tax, and then on top of this there is an import customs charge. it results in £200 invoice in total there is no mention of these additional charges in the ordering process which is very disappointing. In the past I was always satisfied with the goods I received, but this is the second time that the quality is not what it used to be: The blue belt straps were way too thin, measured 2.5 mm thick, not 4 mm. They were also very soft instead of sturdy and therefore started cracking immediately. The B grade veg tan belly I ordered was not a B but more like a D grade: holes, discoloring and scratches all over (not scars)… and the piece I got was cut in such a strange shape that it is useless for the most part. Dissapointing. I wonder if Buyleatheronline will compensate me for this?

I ordered 7 skins, different treatments, among other things 2 suede skins. 5 skins are wonderful, but instead of suede I received velour. At the same time, the store employee assured me that this is suede. It is not pleasant when a buyer is made out to be a stupid and narrow-minded person.

I ordered the Badalassi wax pull up aqua color and the Hand Buffered Aniline Premium Shoulder - Vegetable Tanned - Color : Dark Cognac - Whisky ref 304. I asked splitting down to 1.3mm for both, and also a darker color for the 304 if possible. Everything was done as I had asked. The shipping took a week but shipped out when I inquired. Got them in 3 days after. Both hides look completely clean. The badalassi aqua is actually more green than bluish so just be aware of that. This is my third time purchasing from this company and won’t be the last. Grazie Mille!

Service and delivery fine. Problem is the way it's packed. The multiple layers of soft, chrome tanned leather rolled on one another cause the first few layers inside the roll to crush, crease and wrinkle to the point where there is no way to flatten it out. The ends of the roll gets crushed as well. The simple cardboard tube as a core of the roll would help to eliminate or at least to reduce these issues.

Everything is good except delivery. Very long order processing. 5 days only for send a small order for 159 euros is a very long time. Plus the delivery itself takes a week. The leather is very clear which is good for the kind artwork I do. But it came smaller than I expected. I bought two hiders, 1 veg tan goatskin and 1 veg tan bellies, both saying on online it’s 5.5 square feet, but when they arrived back of goatskin is showing 4.4. Not sure what’s saying on the bellies back but it’s not 5.5 square feet too. I paid $59.70 for both hides including the shipping. The price for the hides are ok, but when you add the shipping to this it’s the same price buying leather here in USA, unless they had sent to me the right amount of square feet they described that would be sent to me for the price I purchased it. I gave up buying a 2-3oz goatskin hide measuring 8.1/4 square feet for $64.50 on the American website I usually buy leather thinking I was doing a big deal. I’m not saying I would never buy it again on Buyleatheronline, but just in case they don’t have here in USA what I need to my artwork
