  Tilasin linkkuveitsen korkkiruuvilla. Kahvassa oli stamina-puuta. Lisäsin tilaukseen ruskean nahkatupen. Olen jonkin aikaa miettinyt, mitä voisi ostella vaikkapa merkkipäivälahjaksi miespuolisille ystäville. Ostokseni pidän itse, mutta pakko sanoa, että linkkari on tyylikäs ja hienosti viimeistelty. Suosittelen. Terävä kuin partaveisti ja erittäin tyylikäs ja käytännöllinen. Korkkiruuvi on sen verran kapea, että alkon pystyssä säilytettyjen pullojen avaamisessa voi olla ongelmaa, mutta muuten erittäin upea tuote. Itse aion ottaa ihan rankkaan käyttöön kalareissuille ja jotenkin valvoa, ettei vaimo vaan pistä tuota tiskikoneeseen.

  When I opened the box, I heard myself say, "Wow, look at this!". The Turquoise handle and Damascus blade look superb and the finish is exceptional. Laguiole products are top quality and very collectable. This is the first one I bought direct from the manufacturer and for sure it won't be the last. The website is very well presented, informative and easy to order from. Shipping is fast and efficient, didn't take long to go from France to here in New Zealand. Highly recommended.

  Outstanding product to replace one gifted to me - that was a version with a corkscrew but taken off me by customs when I was flying out for a camping holiday which upset me greatly l. I got this one to replace the one confiscated from me. It was an excellent customer experience buying a compatible replacement and I am so pleased with it. It is a work of art.   Super disappointed with my oyster knife, the tip of the knife broke down while I was trying to open up my first oyster….I could not believe it, I imported this knife all the way from France as I tought it was of superior quality and would make the work easier.   I recently purchased a sheath for my laguiole knife and found actiforge an exellent company to deal with, so much that I've just designed and ordered a knife from them as I'm not sure whether my laguiole from forge de sabot is genuine, and the one I've now ordered will have a carbon blade which I prefer over stainless steel, I have two weeks to wait for them to make it for me and I'm waiting eagerly.

  The knife has some flaws that I was unhappy with. The logo was stamped into the blade in such a wave that it looks warped or wavy on the metal in that spot. The ink for the model number is done poorly and inconsistent, some numbers are dark with ink & some you can barely read. Disappointing for the price.

  The knife is PERFECT. Exactly as depicted on the website. The custom engraving on the blade is beautiful. I took express shipping. It took around 5 days. To be fair, it was right before Christmas. Website is easy to use. Can even build a totally custom knife from scratch.

  The website is basic but functional. Buying was easy, and checking on the shipment tracking was easy as well, although the French tracking takes a while to update, but the actual shipment is pretty fast - about a week to the middle of nowhere, Texas... not bad. And they made the knife really quickly! The first knife I had was the wrong size, and after contacting the company, they offered me a replacement. I shipped the product back and they sent me a new one. Yes, it extended the time for the whole transaction, but they fixed the problem. It happens. They communicated with me throughout the process and shipped a replacement knife within 1 business day of my knife making it back to them. That's really good considering it's a custom product.

  The site was good but I had to p[ay £170 TAX for my Knives to be released by the courier company. I think you should know that was going to happen which made the knives too expensive and I wouldnt have bought them. I understand this is possibly a Brexit issue but it made 3 very expensive knives.   Since Brexit, products entering the United Kingdom have an import tax. This tax is to be paid for products that are not in the European Union. It is possible to refuse to pay this tax.   I first fell in love with laguiole when I was walking Le Puy Camino and came across the coutelières working to create the stunning artisan knives. I adore the individuality, the craftsmanship and the love that you feel when you open a box containing one of the products. Èven though I live in Australia, thé shipping is fast and efficient. Thé response is also top notch and I highly recommend anyone who would love to use or keep these products just simply to gaze at their beauty to buy one, or two or many of these beautiful knives.

  After a delay, the product arrived with a damaged bolster continuing in the handle and several points of bad finish (a.o. heat markings on another bolster and unequal polish on the spring and bee). With difficulties in communicating the product was eventually returned, with a confirmation of returned item message, that it would be send back to me, repaired. The deadline, which they stated themselves, for the repairs, has passed, without me receiving any further message or the product. To give an idea of the total timeline; I placed the order on the 1st of February and today, the 24th of March, I had to request on update on the repairs. Also, the knife was exceedingly difficult to close, oil had to be applied (an idea of my own, after not receiving any input 1 week after requesting this to avoid even more damage, to both blade and fingers). Before applying oil the closing mechanism resisted enough pressure from my hand and fingers for the fingers to display minor bruises, without closing the knife. On a positive note; they did make the shipment express, to compensate for the delay and the requested text was also correct.

  I do not recommend this page! I made my order 2020-11-16 and I still do not have nor money nor the knife. First, they did not keep the 2 weeks interval they declare to need to produce a custom knife. Then they sent me a knife I didn't order - I ordered a 10 cm knife with carbon steel blade, however, they sent me a 12 cm one made from stainless steel. When I complained - we agreed to send the knife back and everything seemed OK. - They even agreed to refund the delivery fee while I was returning not the knife I ordered and did not like, but the knife they sent by mistake. So I send them the knife and also the copy of receipt from the post. Later, after delivery I send them a copy of confirmation that the parcel was delivered from on-line tracking. Since that time they just keep ignoring the fact that I send them the knife back - including all the documents - and either keep repeating that they will do another step "after delivery or upon receipt" or just do not answer my emails in which I send them the copies of documents and confirmations again. According to my experience with this page I just described, it seems to me that something between total incompetence or scam is happening. Either they lost the knife I sent back or they are not able to open the attachments with copies of the documents, or they just do not check with their local post office for any possible mistake, or, even worse, they are just keeping money and not sending ordered product. I made my last attempt to contact them on 2021-02-17, until now (2021-02-23) I have no response. I warn everyone else not to use this page!

  Great service and super quick delivery. The knives arrived a couple of days after ordering, which was great especially as there were closures of the borders at the time of ordering. The knives are amazing quality, and well received as a Christmas present. We will be using these for many years to come.

  Site navigation was easy and enjoyable. Communication was less than adequate. I tried to contact the company three times and never got a response. Actiforge did respond to my emails with action however. I ordered the custom made knife on 11/18/20, some part of it was on back order, and they still were able to deliver it by 12/21. A display box I ordered was not included. I emailed Actiforge that day, and they had the box delivered to my house in 46 hours! Very happy with the end result.

  As I was ordering from the UK and I wanted the product to be a present, i telephoned the office in France. The person who answered spoke fluent English and was very helpful, explaining that an online order would be better to ensure spelling of the address. He also gave me good advice regarding which postage option to choose. My parcel arrived in perfect condition just three days after ordering. Whilst this order is for a gift, I have purchased their knives before and they are still perfect, after several years of use. I cannot praise the company or their knives highly enough.

  The knife is very attractive, but is disappointing in two ways. The Handle has a dull finish. It should have a high polish. The second problem is that it is hard to open and has a rough ,grinding feel as the blade is extended. It is ok for hard use, but not for bragging or display purposes.
