Verified reviewI have used Glisshop before Brexit took place, so I was a bit nervous about getting additional customs charges for importing into Uk. Glisshop informed me that prices included all shipping and custom charges and nothing was chargeable on delivery.

Verified reviewBasically I never got the purchase. Buying from the UK and having bought from Glisshop before I am comfortable with importing from France. Especially as Glisshop state that all the import duties and taxes are part of the purchase price. Unfortunately when the purchase arrived in the UK DPD sent a claim for import duties. This was done via the DPD App, with two buttons - Yes I will pay the duties, No I will not. With no explanation of what happens after your choice. I pressed No, this automatically sent the delivery back to france. Over two months later the delivery is still not back with Glisshop. I couldn’t get any further with DPD than the chat interface, they just kept saying I had to take it up with Glisshop. Which I had. But Glisshop were talking to French DPD who were not talking to UK DPD. I have only just been refunded thanks to a helpful Glisshop staff member. And never had my purchase. I have now missed the Summer discount period for this coming season. Pretty annoyed with DPD as there complaints department still haven’t recognised my emails. I’m also a little upset with Glisshop as they really needed to work harder to sort the delivery system out better post Brexit.

Hello Daryl, We understand your disappointment. We have been very frustrated with DPD and the Customs regarding your delivery. We believe we have worked on storting out the delivery system post Brexit but it is still new and so far we have not been able to control what happens at the Customs. However, we have shipped hundreds of parcels to the UK since we started shipping there again and we've had very few problems. As discussed, we will contact you upon arrival of the parcel back in our depot to send it back to you again if you are still interested. Best regards the Glisshop team

Also, I only order when I am certain about the product, size, colour etc. because returns have to be sent back to France, expensive and problematic post-Brexit.
