  Firstly I would Like to say when I purchased this item I understood it was a Batch No 1 of Hearach whisky but when delivered it turned out to be a Batch No 5 also the Box inside the delivery box was Damaged, as it was going to be a collection piece the box matters to a collector, I contact Maison DU Whisky and they never replied.

  Maison du Whisky have a great selection, always something new and interesting. Very helpful to have switch from French to English. My go to site for gifts to relatives in France. Dropped one star this time as there was a bit of delay in dispatching the order, normally first class.

  My order two bottles of Hearach inaugural release Batch 1 . Fast shipping bottles arrived in good order..Only I was a little bit disappointed because the presentation boxes are damaged because the boxes are put with the bottles in the plastic inflatable bottle protection... They should be placed seperate in the package so they dont damage... A collector is not happy with a damaged presetation box..

  A normal very high standard for whisky.fr, never problems, however this time they failed to pack the bottles and boxes decently (pressed a fragile cardboard box into a bubble wrap carrier) and both boxes were severely damaged. Let's see how they handle this to follow up this review.

  I found the overall purchasing experience excellent. I enjoyed browsing the comprehensive online shop. I was initially challenged by the purchasing pages, but as French is not my first language it was perhaps understandable.   Easy to order online and a very professional service, liked the fact I had a daily update where my order was in the shipping. When my bottle of Welsh Flair arrived it was in perfect condition with an oversized box and inflatable plastic bag.   Fantastic service as always. The packaging could have been done slightly better due to the box being damaged. Possibly flat pack the box or pack protective packaging around the bottle inside the box; so it dosnt rattle.
