    OK first up, I don't shave my face, I have a beard that reaches halfway down my chest. But I do shave my head, which is much more difficult and requires a much better standard of razor. So I tested out the new BIC last night and I have to say, it was bloody excellent. No nicks, cuts or sore spots. A lovely smooth and patchless finish, close enough to be smooth and slick the following day. I have only one issue, hence the 4 stars not 5. I've tried several time to slow down the frequency of delivery. Evwrytime I try to get into my account it won't accept my password and when I try to reset it I'm not able to access the email. How do I slow down frequency of delivery please? I only shave my head once or twice a week, so I already have six months supply (including the original version) NB; the review is for the new model. Other than the website issues I'm more than happy with the razors, the gel is really good as well. Your head skin is much more sensitive than your face, but your gel is REALLY good. DO you sell the gel on its own? If only I could slow down the frequency....... My cupboard is filled with razor blades. 🙄🙄🙄

    I am extremely happy with bicshave, the blades in the razor tend to last me all week and I get the same shaving experience from the first shave to the last. I like the new handle, it is a lot lighter than the first one and seems to handle better in the hand. As for the new blades, well what can I say, they do the job and with the sort of beard I have, then I can guarantee that after my shave in the morning I look good all day. I use to shave electric but found that within months the blades were useless and I would need to replace the blades in my shaver every three months. With my bic razor I get a weeks shave from one blade, in fact with the new blades provided I think I will get more than a weeks shave. I would recommend this club to every man out there who has to wet shave, I only wish that BIC had been around when I was in the R.N. it would have made life so much easier, join the club, pay by direct debit and have your blades delivered by post anywhere in the world every month. No cut faces, and no burn marks on the neck, shaving in the 60s was to say the least trial and error, hope the blade was sharp, and the ship stayed on an even keel. But today with these Bic blades, no problem, you could shave in a force 8 and still come away with a face like a snooker ball, clear of hair and no blood. So I would highly recommend this product and say to those that are thinking about joining, go ahead, join us, because we have the best of both worlds, clean clear faces, and the thoughts that every month, our new blades will fall onto our mats ready to use.     I have tried all the similar products such as Gruum, Harry's shave club etc, and was a little sceptical thinking of the original Bic disposal razor. However, I am totally amazed - it is the best and I mean the best closest, smoothest shave I have ever, ever experienced. I immediately got my two grown up sons to join the Bic club. This really is a case of forget the rest, whatever Bic have done, they have developed the BEST.

    Fantastic product and excellent service! I was really surprised at the quality of the blades and the handle. I used to suffer from really bad irritation after shaving but that has gone after using bic. I don’t even notice the monthly fees they are that small and new products just drop through the letterbox.

    Terrible, they keep taking my money but I never get anything back apart from loads of e mails claiming it’s all been dispatched! Iv mailed them so many times I can’t be bothered anymore, they keep saying they are sending out FOC blades for the ones that have not been delivered! I keep telling them they are not FOC I have paid for them just never received them, if you’d like my advice don’t bother with this company it will let you down time and time again, there are others on line that are honest genuine and care about their customers

    I don't know where to start with this company, I have been waiting for my starter kit since 15th November (it's now Christmas eve) I have received a replacement set of blades for which I have no handle! Customer service claims the starter kit was sent and promised to send another one so at the moment there must be two starter kits stuck in the postal system. The promise is that all orders will be received between 6 - 10 business days, I don't know of any delivery company who would take that long to deliver something so I have no reason to assume that my order(s) have been sent at all despite the money coming out of my account bang on time. Please don't fall for the hype, I have cancelled my subscription so we'll see if the two starter kits which they claim they have sent will turn up. Somehow I have my doubts. Please avoid!

    Product itself is good. Good shave. Not as good as the best Gillette product but pretty good. Lots of random communication saying the razors have been dispatched from France and then received in the UK. Then got another email saying that there is a new handle that I need to get. But I haven't received it. Communication is a bit out of control. Also the handle package doesn't fit through the letterbox which caused me to get a delivery. And in that first delivery you only get 1 razor. They say it should last 5 or 6 shaves and despite the redelivery delay it was more than 3 weeks before I received the first actual batch. Definitely some teething issues but hopefully the sort it out.

    Hi Mark, Trying a new shaving brand is no small thing, so thank you for trying BIC Shave Club! I do want to point out that your BIC Shave Club razor is certainly different than other brands you have used and takes some time to get used to and use optimally. Firstly, you may have noticed that the piece that attaches the handle to the blade head is slightly inclined. If you're used to a shaver designed with the blades more closely aligned with the handle, it will take some time for you to adjust and find the right incline of your wrist and stroke gesture when you shave. Next, our blades : our independently mounted spring-loaded mobile blades were specially designed to adapt to the rough edges of your skin, so you don't need to put a lot of pressure on your skin to succeed in a close, effective shave.     Website doesn't work using ipad. Ordering the trial pack is not an issue and works but if you want to go into your account to alter frequency etc it just give a protocol error message. Not good. Pity as product is good but the advertising clearly says how easy it is to alter frequency of delivery or cancellation.

    Hi David, It seems the subscription system wasn't clear when you signed up. BIC Shave Club is a subscription service for regular delivery of blade cartridge refills at competitive prices. Here is how it works: - When you sign up, you first choose the subscription you would like, 5-blade or 3-blade. You then choose the delivery frequency for your blade refill packs - every month or every other month. Before checking out, we give you a recap of your subscription, billing and shipment dates. - We immediately send you your Starter Set with a razor and shave gel. 2 weeks later we send your first refill pack of 4 blade cartridges.     Without even trying the trail blade, and without notifying me, BIC sent a new set of blades. I tried to stop the order but went through a whole world of pain with their Customer Service. I decided it wasn't worth the effort as I couldn't even log into my account and BIC couldn't resolve. I decided to close my account, even this was hassle. Stay clear of this company. Tbh Cornerstone are much better.

    The idea of getting razors delivered to your door is a good one but when they fail to turn up which has happened twice it makes you think why not just go to the shop & buy them.my biggest complaint is you can them & they will arrange a new delivery which takes 10 working days,I guess someone pushes a button & it starts the order again.surely someone could grap a pack stick a stamp on it & have delivered next day

    Terrible because you do not make things clear. I order one starter set you sent 2. I asked for a refund this was only granted if I returned one set. The cost of postage was higher than what I would get as refund. So not to me worthwile. You should cover the cost of postage

    It’s a great service , always got fresh , new sharp blades to shave with . The blades actually last longer than I thought they would so that’s a plus in my books . They give a good close shave ( no cuts ) nice shaped blade handle . So yeah I’m happy 👍👍👍

    Hi John, We are glad to read that you are pleased but sorry to hear that you have some reserves about the shaver cutting. Of course, all razors include blades and thus must be handled with a certain amount of care. Your BIC SHAVE CLUB razor is most certainly different than razors that you have previously used. Here is some info to keep in mind to best adapt to your new BIC SHAVE CLUB razor. You may have noticed that the attach points on the handle to which you clip the blades is somewhat at angle. If you are used to blades that are more aligned to the handle, it will take some time to adapt to the new system and find the hold on and motion of the handle that suits you. Concerning the blades, they have been designed to adapt to the various bumps and uneven spots on our skin. You will see after a few uses that you'll better understand the pressure necessary to apply with this blade technology. Thank you again for this review, and happy shaving to you!     I had contacted Customer Service when I was emailed to let me know that my blades were on the way. The person I conversed with told me that the delivery could not be stopped and I had to follow through with the cycle. At this point I closed the account in disgust.
