  I ordered a cooker chimney hood which arrived a day earlier than scheduled which was good although it was fortunate someone was at home as I had no notification of the early delivery. The hood was installed the day after delivery but failed to function properly. I contacted Builder depot who were very eager to help me and contacted their supplier on my behalf with a view to getting the problem resolved. This process is ongoing so I have only given 4 stars at the moment.

  Overall a positive experience, easy to order, good communication and delivery. Took a star off as delivery took too long. Most builders merchants deliver the next day or within 48hrs, having to wait 4 or 5 days for materials is not good for business

  Very poor experience, they cancelled order as they made a mistake, also blocked my credit card so I couldn’t buy elsewhere until the refund cleared. Customer service was non-existent and actually quite rude! Would not use builders depot again, really wouldn’t recommend following this experience!

  Quality products at very competitive prices. Very helpful in correcting my errors on online orders. No mistakes on deliveries so far. Incredible choice of products in the warehouse. Difficult to find things to criticise. Possibly the delivery timings could bee faster, but that is a logistic issue, not a quality factor.

  Dulux Heritage Testers arrived fast. One colour was incorrct upon opening. I phoned and the correct colour was sent. Customer service was efficient in dealing with this and even received a follow up email to check that the replacement order had arrived correctly

  Terrible customer service! Brand new boiler ordered and installed but leaking. Builder Depot promised to send replacement part but nothing received. Have been emailing and calling BD Customer Services daily but not helping. Lost time and money but gesture of goodwill offered.

  I would happily have marked 5 stars had it not been for the delivery of 3 MDF boards instead of Plywood which was part of a larger order. I am not sure where the fault lay but builderdepot quickly put it right and were very helpful in the process. Would I use them again? Would I recommend them? Definitely

  I had never used the company before and came across them during an internet search. I promptly ordered and got fast delivery. Sadly there was a slight issue with my delivery and builder depot couldn’t have been better. A quick WhatsApp to the photo and they sorted the issue without issue and promptly.   s : Ordered a new kitchen Tap of there website due to the fact it was advertised at 575mm high , when we received it it was only 523 mm, which is smaller then the one I was replacing, I rang them to complain to be told it's been advertised with the wrong dimensions, no offer of a discount for their mistakes , if I send it back it means I have to strip it all down a do with out a tap for another 4 days , not happy at all

  This Cuprinol garden shades was a mixed to order. It was leaking, like water and the colour does not match the colour we have previously bought elsewhere. We now have to go to Norwich to get a ready mixed one. Very disappointed,

  I would not of considered builder Depot for electrical sockets and light switches after my wife choose a particular product in B&Q. I felt their price was excessive so I googled the products and to my surprise phone and £60 cheaper. So ordered them on a Sunday evening there arrived Tuesday morning and everything was in stock fantastic service great price and in future this will be my first point of research excellent thank you

  Purchased Timbabuild EHB60 repair resin to fill some window sills - excellent adhesion and sets granite hard - it’s by far the best stuff I have used for repairing voids in timber windows.

  Bought some black 4 inch parliament hinges, I should have known why they where cheap,quality is terrible, paint chips on hinges ,gap to wide , terrible fit , should have paid more and got some proper ones .

  Brilliant light for working outdoors in my back yard when I need light, no need to use extension cables & that old car underground light bulb in a cage one anymore. This does the job perfectly & came with adequate cable enough to charge up. Super bright too. Also good for night fishing as well, with my juice battery I can charge it up in an hour or two, and use again to see when fishing of the beach at night. Thankyou.

  I had a very bad experience with them. Delayed service, bad customer service (they hanged up the phone in my phase because the employee was angry and constantly lying to me about my order), no updates on the order. Had to chase them the whole day and write emails to locate my order. Many customers warned me about this service but due to lack of items I needed from other suppliers,I had to purchase from BD. It was my first and last time dealing with you.
