  Beautiful campsite set in the hills overlooking Clermont Ferrand. Very clean and tidy facilities Short walk although steep to a quaint local village. Would definitely recommend and stay here again when this way.

  We enjoyed our stay at the Huttopia site, but envisioned a more vibrant atmosphere. The main desk was open from 8-10 and then again from 16:00-19:00 so there wasn't much opportunity to ask questions unless you were available at those times. I will admit that the site was very responsive to emails and they walked us through late arrival. Our little cottage was big enough for our family of 5. We did enjoy the indoor heated swimming pool and tennis course. Although there was a miniature golf course, the course was in disarray and in need of maintenance and repairs.

  We have stayed at this campsite many times over the years, sometimes for a stop over and sometimes longer, in our motorhome. The site is ideally situated for easy access to many of the chateaux on the Loire. It is only about 8 km from Chambord. The cycling from the site is very good, offering people of all ages and levels a chance to ride a mixture of trails on low traffic roads and bike tracks. There is a nice walk from opposite the campsite into the town of Bracieux. The site itself is well laid out, some pitches with shade among the trees. There are four sanitary blocks, two of which were being refurbished outside when we were last there. There is also a covered swimming pool.Free access to wi-fi is available in the rest room/bar. There is a small shop in the reception area. It is only a few minutes walk to the town of Bracieux ,which has a small supermarket ,grocery shop, two boulangeries, restaurants, bars ,butchers shop and a number of other shops. There is even a chocolate shop next to the campsite. We have always found the staff very efficient, friendly and helpful. We have recommended the site to others and they have not been disappointed. We would happily go back.

  It was our first time (for a weekend) at a Huttopia destination and we absolutely loved it and have now booked 2 more weeks for our holiday at 2 other Huttopia places. It was perfect for the kids to just be able to play in the forest, at the playground and swim in the pool. We will definitely be back again.

  We generally found the service to be really good. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful. Emails were prompt and informative. Only one thing that was a little annoying - on the day we arrived (a Friday) we asked if we could book bikes for the Sunday. We were told we could just come and get one on the Sunday morning. However, even though we went to reception to ask for bikes as soon as it opened that day, all the bikes were already gone - presumably taken by people who had taken them for the full weekend. It would have been helpful to know when we arrived that the bikes were likely to be taken, and it was advisable to book them for the weekend.

  We liked the nature aspect of the campsite, it didn't feel plasticky at all like other campsites/brands. Very clean too and we liked the limited (as opposed to excessive) options of entertainment. We also appreciated the calm of the place.

  Very helpful staff, camping pitches were very small and packed in I think 219 pitches + their rented tent pitches on top, on 4.5 hectares which is a lot compared to other campsites

  The camping site was nice and spacious. Especially the rental tents had a lot of space around them, we loved that. I thought the chalets were too close together, too close to the pool and playground and some of them had no view at all. The camping pitches were rather small and not a lot of shade, but a great view of the mountains! The swimming pools were nice and well-maintained and most of the time we found a chair as well. The Roulotte worked well and the pizza's were nice. Sometimes the line for the bread in the morning was rather long, especially when someone ordered a full breakfast.

  The girls in the reception were very kind and helpful, and they alone are the reason for the 3rd star I give. Otherwise it would have been 2 stars because of our disappointment with the site. The pool was not for us; too small and too many people and kids. The douche didn't work and netiher did the coffe machine. Even though we reported this after one day, it was never fixed. We also found out that the cooker hood and gas stove didnt work either, which prevented us from cooking food ourselves in the mobile home. The location of the mobile home itself was disappointing too, in shadow and no grass. This camping site was probably the worst we have stayed on, but the staff was great. Al credit to them!

  Things we loved: We were very pleased with our stay. Staff were polite and friendly. Our campsite was clean. The showering facilities were very nice. Things that could be improved: WiFi in the lodge is slow. Pitches aren't level. We kept sliding in our tent because the ground was a bit of a hill. Overall we had a very nice stay and will definitely be back. We have already recommended to our friends.
