  We found our buildings management agency hadn't completed a survey as we were coming up to exchange contracts on the sale of our flat. They managed to come out, carry out the survey and get a report to me within about 48 hours of my original phone call. Really helped us out.

  Not only great communication through the booking and sending the document out but quick booking and even called us to move it quicker due to a cancellation. The actual surveyor was really friendly open and honest and walked us through his findings making sure all questions were answered. Couldn’t recommend any more.

  This was the first time I've needed an asbestos survey. I selected 4 companies, none of which I ws familiar with. 0800asbestos were by far the fastest to reply. They asked for more information, which I told them and within a few minutes receive another email with the quote. Since I was in a hurry, I replied straight away and fortunately they had a slot that afternoon, The surveyor arrived on time, and was very pleasant, and most importantly, obviously knew what he was doing. He asked why I needed the survey, I told him and he had a look at the mysterious substance (which an engineer hadn't been able to identify) and recognised it and said he was sure it wasn't asbestos. He took some samples and some photographs of the area and then tidied up where he'd been working! He explained that they send the samples off to an independent lab, who actually do the tests and left. I really don't know how long the process usually takes, but in my case, the survey was finished approximately 3 hours after my first contact! One other company sent a quote the following day, another one the day after, saying he couldn't reply at the time because he was driving! And after 3days, another one got in touch. They were by far the most expensive about 3 times the 0800asbestos price, and the other 2 prices were just a bit higher. They explained that they get the report from the lab, and they will then send it to me, and it's normally a couple of days wait. It arrived on time and I was able to reschedule the work. In summary, I found 0900asbestos to be very professional, very quick to respond and very understanding and pleasant to deal with, and they put a lot of effort into getting the job done as well as possible! I obviously won't need another asbestos survey (unless I move house!) but if anyone asks if I know anyone to do one, I'd recommend them in the highest possible terms.

  After our survey we had a tradesman carrying out some work and he found some asbestos that wasn't found in our survey. It was found in a place where the surveyor had looked during his visit to the property to carry out the survey. We were unhappy that we paid over £300 and the survey was not fully completed. So we complained to 0800asbestos and were put on the phone with a senior manager who was very rude, shouting down the phone to us and threating to report us to building control (for an unknown reason!) . An extremely unpleasant experience for us and I can not recommend at all.

  Dear Emma As per the numerous conversations I have had with Ivan, the fact is we surveyed the property and took multiple samples. However, when inspecting the loft area it was deamed unsafe as there was no barier to the walkway. . The surveyor advised you on-site to "restrict access" until the area is safe to enter and be inspected. In our report we stated the same on Page 18as below: Loft 203, Restricted access - no barrier to walkway E - Inspect Prior to Disturbance We even hightighted your attention to this this in the email as per below. 14 Jul 2021 11:54 " Dear Emma Please find attached your completed report. I'm pleased to advise you any samples taken tested NEGATIVE for Asbestos Containing Materials. However would like to draw your attention to the Asbestos Register on page and the surveyors recommendations Thank you for the business and we hope to be of service to you again in the future. You will shortly be receiving a survey from verified reviews, we would be grateful if you could complete this as we value your feedback." From my conversation with Ivan, he admitted you did not read the report correctly and therefore allowed tradesmen into the loft when we had restricted access. As I pointed out to Ivan, you have a duty of care to protect tradesman on your site and should have provided them a copy of the Asbestos Survey which clearly stated that area had not been inspected and " Inspect Prior to Disturbance "

  The survey was done within 3 working days of my requesting it. The engineer was prompt and efficient. The survey was done on a Friday at 1:30pm, and the report, including the lab results, was emailed to me just before 5pm the following Monday. Superb service in every aspect, start to finish.

  The surveyor was very late due to the rural location. I had to call the office to find out if the planned survey would still go ahead. It would have been better if they had called me. Once the surveyor arrived, everything went very well. He was apologetic, polite and friendly. The survey was conducted in a very professional manner, I would recommend this organisation
