  The product is 100% and they included a lock, which wasn’t included in the website ( purchase separately) The website stated: Delivery in 3-5 days. Worldwide distribution outlets. No mention of VAT and/or Import Cost. The item took nearly one month to arrive and as it had been shipped from EU (France), there were additional costs which had not been highlighted ( it was over £135) Customer service poor - really poor. They responded with one sentence and didn’t really answer the query. If they really have worldwide distribution- then why could it not have been despatched from UK. Less cost and less waiting time. If they should really give a more realistic delivery time and highlight any probable/potential import costs. Customer service staff being less surly might help. I would be reluctant to recommend them unless you want something like specific not available elsewhere.

  The parts are always available. However, in stock 2-3 day delivery should not be relied on !! Despite supposed warehouses worldwide, they mostly come from France. Fact that and any duty/tax you might need to pay especially out of EU. It is not made clear on purchase that this has not been paid. This needs to be made perfectly clear. From purchase to delivery ( Fr to UK) was 15 days. Tax to be paid an extra £135. Customer service not very helpful and rather off- hand in any reply … Sadly, off my preferred list of suppliers ..

  I needed a bracket for one of my pannier cases. bmw.europe-moto.com were the only online retailer I could find that stocked them. Ordering and payment were straight forward, the only issue being the postage costs, which were more than the item. However needs must and it was less expensive than having to buy a complete pannier.

  The overall service provided was excellent, and the product is AWESOME! However, I was left feeling a little upset by having to pay for import duty as I wasn't anticipating it. Not BMW's fault, but the additional cost wasn't expected. Maybe BMW Motorad could look into reminding customers of the potential cost implications.
