Verified reviewVery pleased to find the Meindl boots I wanted in a half size (which I couldn’t find in the UK). Delivery was prompt. Disappointed to have to pay £91 UK VAT, import duty and customs handling fees. There was no information (at the time of order) as to the extent of these fees.

Verified reviewI wasn't aware that I will be paying customs charges.. Nobody contacted me to make me aware that my parcel was held at the delivery company. At the end the shoes were overly expensive😢😢😢😢😢, only received a refund of half the total amount I have paid for customs charges. I WILL Never buy from this shop again.

Verified reviewPleased with the skis at a bargain price, but the method of packing and delivery was very poor. The skis were dispatched in a long cardboard box with insufficient padding inside ( two rolls of brown paper) to prevent them moving. As a result they arrived in a shambles with the box split open at both ends and the skis held loosely inside, It was obvious they had been spilled from the packaging on multiple occasions in transit and replaced again as the wrapping around the skis themselves had also been torn. Luckily after very close inspection there was no damage or marks on them, even the delivery company person apologised for the state of the package and took a photograph in case there was a reason to claim damages. If customers are spending substantial amounts on heavy ski equipment surely part of a good service is to ensure they get to their destinations without damage with protective packing (bubble wrap) and in substantial containers.

Verified reviewOder was stuck at the customs because of missing invoice and came weeks later only (wasn’t able to use the product at all!!) Furthermore, had to pay a huge amount of custom fees too, as Ekosport don’t say anything at all that customs have to be paid in addition to the shipping costs by the buyer. Very dishonest. Customer service by phone not reachable and my email I was told to sort out the delivery issues by myself!! If you live in the UK, don’t buy from this company!

Verified reviewExcellent service from Ekosport, not quite so good from Parcelforce. Ekosport charge VAT at source, but then when it is imported into the UK, customs put VAT on the VAT Ekosport charge, so even though Ekosport refunded their portion of the VAT, the cost of the goods is increased by this small percentage.
