  A beautiful Pierre Morel pipe came from France to the US west coast. Packaged well and promptly shipped. Wonderful customer service and a great product. It smokes beautifully. La Pipe Rite has a wonderful assortment of pipes and I always visit their site when shopping for a new pipe.

  La Pipe Rit has been phenomenal in every way. Being that I live in North California, I shop La Pipe Pit online. The site is detailed and easy to use. I have emailed multiple questions and had helpful, timely responses. La Pipe Rit is located in St. Claude, France and provides many locally made pipes, which I find is very special!! They also provide artistic individual pipe maker's pipes or pipes from multiple other countries, such as Italian made pipes.   I ordered a pipe made by Pierre Morel. The shop has an amazing collection of pipes, that you cannot find elsewhere, in the U.K. or Denmark. Price is good too. When you order online from abroad, the package will be handed over to a local courier who then will contact you for clearing customs. I spoke to Claire at the shop about it, and she was very nice and reassuring about the whole process. She’s also very knowledgeable and advised me on some pipes that I will probably add to my collection. I cannot wait to go on-site and visit the shop. Thank you Team for your kind assistance, I definitely recommend them for anyone who wants to have access to rare artisan high quality pipes. Further, it feels great to support a loca family owned shop who lives their passion of pipe making to the fullest! Richard

  I received my order on time; however, the outer package was damaged and the inner box was damaged as well and everything was soaking wet. The pipe that I purchased appears to be okay. To remove the stem of your pipe, you first have to hold the pipe with one hand on the shank and the other on the stem, so that they are as close as possible to the junction between both parts (shank and stem). Then, you can turn the stem on itself (always in the same direction) as if it was screwed to the shank, while slightly pulling it at the same time to remove it. Please be careful to stay in the axis so as not to damage the shank and the tenon of your pipe. We also remind you that it is necessary to clean your pipe with the appropriate pipe-cleaners after each tobacco tasting. Over time, a dirty pipe will get clogged because of tar, and it will therefore be difficult to remove the stem. We stay at your disposal by mail or phone, should you require further information regarding the maintenance of your new pipe.

  The hole of the shank is far too tight to fit the stem (mouthpiece) during the cleaning process is done it’s too hard to fix the mouthpiece back to the shank. Hope my complain is clear to you., please no need emails back and forth unless you have an action to make your customer satisfied. Now the pipe is on the shelf useless because can’t keep it clean.

We are very sorry that this pipe of the brand Eole, a high-quality model made by one of the best French craftspeople, does not perfectly meet your expectations. However, it is indeed true that this pipe might be more difficult to disassemble compared to pipes manufactured in series. We think that it is better to propose pipe stems that are not too loose, and not stems that are not perfectly adapted to the pipe. In order to remove the stem more easily, you will be able to lubricate the tenon (the part of the stem that goes inside the shank of the pipe) by rubbing solid soap on it. After putting the stem back on the pipe, you can remove it and lubricate it once again. This will allow you to disassemble the stem more easily.   Quality of briar and that of worksmanship is excellent, perfect pipe for me and their customer service is excellent. did not take long in the mail and was well padded incase shippers handled it roughly. The only thing i would have changed is the pipe description And foto said 'natural finish' however it is waxed. Maybe that was my misunderstanding, perhaps the term i was looking for would be "un-finished", however the image also suggested it was raw wood. Not a huge issue and Very pleased with this 9mm Bent Apple, highly reccomend Eole pipes.
