  Started using this app on the 30 day free trial at the start of lockdown as a way to get my son practicing phonics and numbers and he loves it, have been amazed at what he has picked up and love the satisfaction he gets from completing the assessments. I like the updates that tell me what he has learned and the progress he is making. Love that I can use this across multiple devices so that it is not always my tablet that needs to be used. Great app. I think then only small downside is that it doesn't allow writing practice but there is lots of download able worksheets to support to make up.

  My son's reading and spelling have come on dramatically since I have signed up. He really enjoys doing the lessons. And then you have all the other activities which we have barely even spent any time on. My son now's enjoys reading. Thank you. I would highly recommend this learning platform for anyone. I have no issues with anything.

  I did the free trial. I didn't realise that the Math section is a separate product when I purchased the annual membership. I could add it, but I thought it was included for thr price I paid. I should have read the details more closely before purchasing. The Reading Eggs app is pretty good. My kids enjoy the lessons, progressing through the map, earning eggs, editing their avatar, playing games etc. I find the website hard to navigate. There are so many sections and some are packed with loads, some contain very little. It feels like it needs streamlining. We also struggle with yhe sound on the app. Some games and videos are particularly noisy but you cannot adjust the sound levels (sfx /voice/music etc), only the general volume on PC and almost every activity requires sound, so you can't simply turn it way down or off. I bought the annual membership because my kids like it, i can see it helping with their literacy, in a fun way. But I think there is definitely room for great improvement.

  My son's, love reading eggs! My oldest son who is 8, has austim and struggles with reading, phonics. He is reluctant to do a any reading,or spelling, but he loves this app!! I would highly recommend reading eggs,for any child.

  Excellent website, when school closed on 20th March my son couldn't read very well with this website he has improved so much he can read independently and only needs help with unfamiliar words. He also does Mathseeds which is very good as well. I like it that it tests their ability and does lessons on their level. Also keeps them interested with short videos at end of lessons and quizzes. I used the free 30 day provision when schools closed and have now paid a small monthly charge. Reading Eggs and Mathseeds is part of his daily programme

  My son learned the letters when he was 3 years old and how to read simple words with 4. He is now 5 but his mother tongue is not English. Reading Eggs is teaching him vocabulary and improving his English level. Also, he is now able to recognize some written words so I think it will be easier for him to learn to read and write in this language.

  We have used the Reading part of the site before and it really helped my daughter (now 5) with letters, sounds and CVC reading. My son who's diagnosed ASD needed a lot of encouragement but enjoyed it when his confidence was up, particularly the more challenging activities. We don't use the Reading part of the site any more as we feel both the children get what they need from what their school have set up. We have however, subscribed to Maths Seeds and this is great as practise for our daughter, as she needs lots of repetition and she loves spending the acorns! Our son on the other hand is able to be challenged and work at his pace and his level. He's not really interested in the acorns but it's really helping his problem solving skills.

  My son had a very short attention span when I tried to teach him his alphabet and numbers. Since using readingeggs he has very quickly developed both his reading and number skills. He enjoys using it, and now tries reading boxes, signs and even words on the TV. I have recommended readingeggs to all of my friends with similar aged children.

  As a parent I am not particularly a fan of the interface and navigation, however, my son likes the characters and themes in each chapter very much and I also find the contents very smart and well designed both in Mathseeds as in Reading eggs. I feel my son is doing great progress.

  Reading Eggs has been a fantastic find during lockdown. My 5 year old daughter can concentrate on it for up to an hour at a time. She really enjoys it and is clearly learning things all the time. Her reading has improved a lot over her time on Reading Eggs. I recommend it - and you can usually do a free trial to see if it works for you before having to pay for it.

  My child has been utterly gripped by Reading Eggs and Mathseeds and it has made my life so much easier under lockdown. He actually asks to do his work! I only signed up for the free trial to start with but was so impressed that I have now bought a year's subscription. I am a teacher myself and can really appreciate the effort that has gone into making this as fun as it is educational. I think I will also start using this with my toddler once he is a bit older. I have recommended it to all my friends.

  Great in some ways, the lessons are great but for a 4 year old the repetition loses his interest, in order to move from one thing (that he's not engaged with) I have to finish it so we can carry on. Don't know if there's a bug in the system but we thought we'd moved on only to have to re-do lessons again. The dashboard is hard to navigate also.

  Fantastic! My daughter has just turned 5 and has always been advanced so found some things to easy after being recommended this by her teacher she has flown through the 3-7 reading eggs in a matter of weeks and I can really see the difference in what she can now do.

  I signed up to reading eggs during the lockdown ready for when my son starts reception in September. My son doesn’t really show any interest in learning in a traditional manner so I was worried he would lose interest however he loves Reggie and the idea of gaining eggs when he’s completed a section. The site is easy to use, very colourful and age appropriate. My son has so far learned how to spell CAT which seems simple for some, but for me I find in a short space of time this is a huge personal leap. He has started to recognise letters and understands phonics more than he did before using this app. I would 100% recommend this to anyone wanting to encourage their child to start some learning and reading. I’m extremely happy and money well spent.

  I have 3 daughters and when I got my second one it's hard to give her the time that I spent with the first one. Then I discovered Reading Egg, it's a breakthrough for our family by 4 years she could read and spell so much I was amazed. Fast forward 6 year later I have another one, tried her from 2 years she didn't concentrate left it came back when she turned 4 in 6 months all I can say is I'm grateful for the founders.   it is absolutely brilliant...both my kids (7 and 4) use it..my 7 year old through his school and I bought the subscription for my 4 year old who knows now most of his letters and spell simple words like cat, bat, Sam...etc....I fully recommend it.

  An excellent resource that really does get children reading. It’s fun and interactive and both my 2 and 5 year old enjoy using it. The certificates are a real bonus and I like the way I am emailed regarding progress. We like to use the app together but I can also set them up independently for a short while if I wish. I’m so glad we found Reading Eggs.

  I homeschool my boys. My 7 year old did nearly a year at school and by the end of his time there his confidence and mood was in tatters! I took the decision to homeschool. I found that the thing he disliked the most was reading. I found Readings Eggs after a little research to get some help. Guess what.... He loves reading now. I've watched his confidence grow and his reading ability is outstanding! Reading eggs is wonderful. Both my youngest son's love to read and I absolutely can not thank you enough for putting so much effort into this truly wonderful and engaging resource. As a family we can't wait everyday to continue on our reading journey. Thank you again.

  As a teacher of early years and a mum, I can really see the difference that Reading eggs has made to my four year old son. His confidence when reading has improved so much thanks to you.   I cannot recommend reading eggs enough. Both my children (4 and 6) love it. My preschooler is so engaged with learning numbers and letters now, and can even read simple books, all thanks to the work he’s done on reading eggs. Both kids really love doing the printable sheets as well and watching the crafting activities available.

  The site is easy to use. I like that you get updates on your child's progress. My son's reading has definately improved since he started using reading eggs and I would recommend it to others. My only issue is that the sound goes off sometimes and I have to restart the lesson. It does this on all devices including my main computer. Apart from that it is awsome and I am very happy with it 😊

  My daughter is in reception and readingeggs was the best app to help her with phonics. After one month using the app my daughter can blend and read. Personally, I think all schools should provide the app to pupils as it definitely enhances children understanding to phonics. I will continue using the app until my daughter is 9 and I will try the Mathseeds.

  Reading eggs is a fun way for little ones to learn, my little boy is 6 he has asd and is no longer in school. With the help of reading eggs his ability can be seen to improve every day. This is a must have app for anyone want to help their little one with their reading journey. Maths seeds and the library of books is also wonderful. One of my biggest loves of reading eggs is that after each lesson we can print off the work sheets to reinforce the learning we have done through the app

  Reading eggs has made a huge difference to my sons confidence. He became scared of trying books after starting school and started showing lots of signs of anxiety. Reading eggs has changed all of this, he asks to play it and is now enjoying books it all turned around in less than 2 months!

  My son loved it, he’s 2.5 years old. I liked it as a parent but as a teacher felt some of the phonetics were incorrectly pronounced. My biggest reason for cancelling was I felt it was too expensive, especially when the app keeps freezing after playing on it around ten mins I’d have to keep reloading and constantly having to log in which is really annoying and my son would get so frustrated! For the money I’d expect much better working app! This wasn’t a device or internet issue as used on several devices and at different internet places and same always happens

  I love Reading Eggs and Mathseeds. The length of each little task is short enough to keep children engaged for a good length of time, and they feel a good sense of achievement as they work their way through the maps. The site is very easy to navigate and very user friendly.

  I'd highly recommend this site. I'm a teacher and I've used this with pupils in school but it was only when my own boy needed support I fully appreciated this resource. He didn't see it as extra work. He was delighted with his extra screen time while all the time it consolidated his phonics and sight vocabulary he'd learned in school.

  I love Reading Eggs. Unfortunately my daughter is struggling with reading, and sadly she doesn't seem to retain the information. She is wonderful at doing the exercises and can do most of them on her own with only the occasional help, and the exercises do enable her to read the book at the end, which gives her enormous confidence. While she is struggling, largely I feel due to retention, I am so grateful that Reading Eggs exists. I feel that the pace is right, and the animations and supporting material is lovely. We will keep going, and I am sure we will get there in the end, and I am grateful to have this resource so I feel as if I am supporting and reinforcing my daughter's learning. Thank you.

  Very good. My 5 year old daughter has started reading after about 3 months into reading eggs. It’s better to use this with the paper practice to give He child a balance. At first my daughter used only the app and almost forgot how to write the letters on paper but when I noticed this I encouraged her to use both.

  It's amazing how quickly my 3 /4 year old has started reading. Reading eggs has built on what he learns at nursery. He's not so keen on the worksheets or the searching for a letter in the letter grid.

  My son is mainly home educated and has SEN. He loves doing reading eggs and maths seeds and has learnt loads. He is very difficult to get him to do work but this has helped loads. I like the fact he can continue to progress at his own pace. I wish that reading eggs had a version that used the Phonics system that they use in UK schools as he still follows the curriculum so it would be really useful if it was parallel with this. We love it !

  I am a childminder and this product is invaluable in teaching little ones to read and understand maths too. The children love using the tablet, something that they aren't otherwise able to access at my setting. The programme has improved over the years that I have used it and it is wonderful to use.

  The content is amazing and is definitely helping my son with his reading. He has improved rapidly whilst using Reading Eggs. The only downside is the operating system not being efficient, can not find an app on Android and it can be tricky through the web browser for him to work. I do recommend it though.

  My daughter loves using reading eggs alongside reading the books from School. She loves finishing a new section and moving through the maps. The games are also really good and she enjoys them. Being able to see her progress is great for me.

  I have been trying for months now to reset the placement test. The staff always reply but I still can't reset after following their instructions. As a result, my kids has not been able to use the programme for several months as I wait for this issue to be resolved.

  It’s a great program, my kids love it, and it’s a great way of learning. The only disadvantage is I do quite often experience technical issue, this can be very frustrating, it holds up your time and disturbs the learning, but overall it is an excellent program

  Reading eggs has proven to be a fantastic tool to help children learn to read and keep them engaged. It is not homework, it is fun! Children do not realise they are actually working and learning. The only downside I can think of is that it is not possible to do anything offline. It would be great if the next lesson(s) could be downloaded when access to the internet will not be possible and later added to the progress online.
