  The educational aspects of this course are fantastic - the content matches what the kids are doing / would do at school. My 4 yr old son taught himself to read with Reading Eggs during lockdown while his sister was doing schoolwork with me. He loves the new Fast Phonics area. The reason I'm not able to give 5 stars is that the technology sometimes lets down the programme.

  I have a son who started using reading eggs from the age of 3 years old, now he is 5 years old and he still enjoys using reading eggs, alongside maths seeds. I had already taught him the alphabet, uppercase and lower case letters, vowels, and consonants and how to spell simple 3 letter words. Thanks to consistently using reading eggs, he is able to read properly and is a whole year above his reading age, he can construct his own sentences and even write questions. He also can add and take away numbers up to 10 and knows 2D shapes. Overall we really do recommend reading eggs and think its a great service with a lot of fun educational content. Only issues I have is that the animations lag at times and certain activities take so long to load.

  It's a wonderful site, my daughter is six years old and has a problem with phonetics, but now after joining reading eggs, she is improving and have gain confidence. Interface is very cool and entertaining. Thank you reading eggs, we have a wonderful experience with you.

  My daughter is in reception class. I decided to sign in for the online lessons and also I bought english and maths books for reception class. I thought because of children were off so long during this school year, we might go through all the program again at home. My daughter loves it. She really enjoys playing maps and games and looking forward quizzes and certificates. Few times I sat with her but now she can navigate all lessons herself. As soon as we finish reception we will get year 1 books to be ahead of the school program.

  Great application - even for kids learning English as a second language. Very pretty characters and very well-thought syllabus - my son perceives it as a game rather than learning and enjoys it a lot.

  This is a great programme to help build confidence with reading and maths. It works through the lessons at whatever pace your child needs and the extra materials are really helpful if you want a little more non-computer work.

  This really is a lovely resource, my daughter enjoys it and is learning while having fun. She thinks she’s getting a treat using the tablet so we both win! I would definitely recommend it.

  I like the program but today we went on the app and I saw that my daughters surname is wrong and the maths egg is no longer on the app, we were very interested in the maths egg as well.

  Fantastic! Great lessons, playrooms, worksheets, homeschool planning and plenty of extras. My 4 year old son has absorbed and retained so much thanks to reading eggs. I recommend it to everyone

  My five year old was really struggling with phonics and his reading level was way behind his peers in his class. We signed up to reading eggs in January and are nearly at the end of the fast phonics program and the difference in his reading confidence and enjoyment is huge. Very pleased with the program, would highly recommend it.

  I have been using Reading Eggs with my granddaughter during lockdown while she was unable to go to nursery. Although not yet 3, she is very engaged with it and loves learning her 'letters'. It is the first thing she wants to do every day after breakfast. She really likes 'Reggie's boxes' and has now started to choose Mathsseeds too. I have nothing but praise for Reading Eggs; it is making a real difference during a difficult time!

  I would highly recommend this to any parent, even their child is not having any trouble learning to read. It is a fun and effective way to reinforce what they are learning in school. My son loves doing the lessons and seeing that animal he will release from the egg. It is really helping him learn the individual sounds and how to blend the sounds together.

  I was offered a trial during lockdown and thought let’s try this. I never looked back! My son then was 3 years old and enjoyed the books that came with it. When he turned 4, he then enjoyed the phonics and math seeds which has helped him immensely to start reading books! The activities are great and I can leave him to complete the levels. I highly recommend Reading Eggs! Thank you.

  My child tried the maths 5-7 but he couldn't move the object because of technical issue with the game, when the cartoon pulled his tongue out my child got upset and didn't like it

  I am a home educating mom of 7 humans (some are now fully grown) and I can honestly say Readings eggs is one of our great discoveries. I only wish it had been around for my older children. The youngest two children love it and our going from strength to strength everyday when they log in to Reading Eggs. It's so easy to use and keeps the children engaged. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to help there children progress in Reading and Maths. It's great value for money and an ideal way to spend screen time, learn and have fun.

  So the lock down really affected children at reception as they were get beginning to read and write. I quickly looked on line to see how best I could help my 5yr old with at least English and math. I must say , I couldn’t have stumbled on a better web site. READING EGGS. My little son has now moved from knowing very little to his teachers star. Thank u R E

  Excellent educational tool that makes reading fun. Especially useful during all the lockdowns when kids are missing out on so much education. This programme has definitely helped my daughter to read at an early age. I highly recommend.

  We absolutely love reading eggs! It’s usually so hard to get my son engaged in learning at home. But he loves the app and asks to use it! I have seen a big improvement in his confidence when reading and he’s definitely enjoying more educational screen time which makes me very happy!

  We used Reading Eggs as part of homeschooling during a lockdown. I love the fact that it first assessed what level my daughter was at and her lessons started from there. I found that other learning apps started at a random level and my daughter had to go through many lessons that were too easy for her, and not teaching her anything, before she would get to lessons that were suitable for her level. With Reading Eggs my daughter skipped the first 40 lessons and the teaching was relevant from the start.

  My 4 year old is enjoying the reading lessons and is helping him learning the sounds quickly. It's interactive and playful. Just sometimes the app is frozen. Then we have to restart again.

  I started using Reading Eggs with my youngest grandson after his older brother showed me how easy it was to access having been given a password from school. I have been teaching them both at home for 3 months now and it has been great to see the progress that they have made. The pace and structure is particularly appropriate for them as they have dyslexia. They enjoy all the activities and I have been using the Reading Eggs books and workbooks for reinforcement. The younger one also benefits from using Fast Phonics and Maths Seeds which are just what he needs. He is now starting to make progress in both phonologically regular words as well as sight vocabulary but importantly he is enjoying his learning. Thank you.

  Absolutely love this app! I’ve definitely seen an improvement of my daughter’s reading/spelling ability. Great to have access to so many ebooks! It’s good that she views this app as fun rather than a chore and has learnt and is still learning lots from it.

  My 3 year old started the programme in Jan-21. At that point she knew a few letters. It's now Mar-21 and she has finished Map 3. I have been so impressed by the programme and seen her progress so much. The teaching methods used in the app are so effective yet fun. The workbooks are really good too. My daughter finds these a lot harder than the app but they have definitely developed her writing ability and pencil control. I really recommend Reading Eggs.

  This is the best educational app ever. I have used reading egg for all my children from the oldest to the youngest and each of them had been top of their class from nursery to year 6 when they leave primary school. My first child is in secondary school now while my second and last are till on it. Reading eggs has helped me a lot that I have recommended it to so many people that they call me to thank me like I created the app. I'm also still using it to teach special needs children that I work with and it's still working well and performing it's magic. Thanks to all the brains behind reading eggs.

  My son loves reading eggs, we did the free month trial and now paid for the year with Covid and lockdowns it’s worth it just to have peace of mind that they will learn through a fun way and less stressful for us parents

  The app is very easy to use. My 5 year old loves it. It allows him to practice the phonics he is learning elsewhere, reinforcing what is being taught. I have been very impressed with the range of games, worksheets and eBook's available. The maths has also been great, it allows him to work at his own pace. The maths work sent home from school during lockdown was very uninspiring, but this app has kept his interest and as a result he has really excelled. I would certainly recommend it.

  Easy to navigate and kids love making their avatar and earning eggs. I used this with my son who is now 14 and I still love singing along with 6yr old girl to some old and added favourites. Reading eggs inspires confidence in the user and you can actually make dinner or whatever while they learn safely and happily. I just want a programme now which stops all other activities on the tablet with a flick of a switch. Better and better every year. Love it love it. Boy loved the driving tests both loved fixing up the house.. Even the most unwilling learner will get. Into this if u sit back and give them the reins.

  My son loves this app. It's really helped him learn new words and read. He enjoys the phonics lessons aswell and loves it when he gains certificates. Would recommend reading eggs to any parent looking to teach their children online. I feel it's a great benefit

  My daughter loves playing the game's with the added bonus of learning maths and reading along the way. Biggest downfall it keeps freezing luckly between levels so she doesn't have to repeat them. But we have to shut down the app and find our way back to the level again.

  The app is fine as it is though I doubt the learning effect. But canceling the subscription seems impossible! I do not recommend this app.

  I can’t rate Reading Eggs highly enough. The difference in my son’s understanding of sounds and reading in just a few weeks is incredible. He really enjoys the interaction in the lessons and games etc. The little videos are very entertaining for him. There is a lot of choice in books to read and always some that catch his attention. The fact that he asks to go in reading eggs every day is proof of how much he enjoys it.

  The app is great but we always come up to tasks that do not respond and we can skip them. There is a message program is not responding and then we are stuck. Only solution was to advance him to the next level which is not great. Not sure what the cause is but every time it happens it puts my son off doing it again anytime soon.

  Reading eggs has been an amazing learning platform for my child to learn to read. It is extremely enjoyable for my son and he loves to interact with all aspects of the app. He has learnt alot in a short space of time. I would highly recommend this app. We started using it whilst at nursery and this has built his reading skills prior to starting school. You have to get this app! Thanks reading eggs x
