  I like the program but today we went on the app and I saw that my daughters surname is wrong and the maths egg is no longer on the app, we were very interested in the maths egg as well.

  So the lock down really affected children at reception as they were get beginning to read and write. I quickly looked on line to see how best I could help my 5yr old with at least English and math. I must say , I couldn’t have stumbled on a better web site. READING EGGS. My little son has now moved from knowing very little to his teachers star. Thank u R E

  I was offered a trial during lockdown and thought let’s try this. I never looked back! My son then was 3 years old and enjoyed the books that came with it. When he turned 4, he then enjoyed the phonics and math seeds which has helped him immensely to start reading books! The activities are great and I can leave him to complete the levels. I highly recommend Reading Eggs! Thank you.

  Excellent educational tool that makes reading fun. Especially useful during all the lockdowns when kids are missing out on so much education. This programme has definitely helped my daughter to read at an early age. I highly recommend.

  My five year old was really struggling with phonics and his reading level was way behind his peers in his class. We signed up to reading eggs in January and are nearly at the end of the fast phonics program and the difference in his reading confidence and enjoyment is huge. Very pleased with the program, would highly recommend it.

  My child tried the maths 5-7 but he couldn't move the object because of technical issue with the game, when the cartoon pulled his tongue out my child got upset and didn't like it

  I am a home educating mom of 7 humans (some are now fully grown) and I can honestly say Readings eggs is one of our great discoveries. I only wish it had been around for my older children. The youngest two children love it and our going from strength to strength everyday when they log in to Reading Eggs. It's so easy to use and keeps the children engaged. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to help there children progress in Reading and Maths. It's great value for money and an ideal way to spend screen time, learn and have fun.

  I would highly recommend this to any parent, even their child is not having any trouble learning to read. It is a fun and effective way to reinforce what they are learning in school. My son loves doing the lessons and seeing that animal he will release from the egg. It is really helping him learn the individual sounds and how to blend the sounds together.

  I have been using Reading Eggs with my granddaughter during lockdown while she was unable to go to nursery. Although not yet 3, she is very engaged with it and loves learning her 'letters'. It is the first thing she wants to do every day after breakfast. She really likes 'Reggie's boxes' and has now started to choose Mathsseeds too. I have nothing but praise for Reading Eggs; it is making a real difference during a difficult time!

  We absolutely love reading eggs! It’s usually so hard to get my son engaged in learning at home. But he loves the app and asks to use it! I have seen a big improvement in his confidence when reading and he’s definitely enjoying more educational screen time which makes me very happy!

  We used Reading Eggs as part of homeschooling during a lockdown. I love the fact that it first assessed what level my daughter was at and her lessons started from there. I found that other learning apps started at a random level and my daughter had to go through many lessons that were too easy for her, and not teaching her anything, before she would get to lessons that were suitable for her level. With Reading Eggs my daughter skipped the first 40 lessons and the teaching was relevant from the start.

  My 4 year old is enjoying the reading lessons and is helping him learning the sounds quickly. It's interactive and playful. Just sometimes the app is frozen. Then we have to restart again.

  I started using Reading Eggs with my youngest grandson after his older brother showed me how easy it was to access having been given a password from school. I have been teaching them both at home for 3 months now and it has been great to see the progress that they have made. The pace and structure is particularly appropriate for them as they have dyslexia. They enjoy all the activities and I have been using the Reading Eggs books and workbooks for reinforcement. The younger one also benefits from using Fast Phonics and Maths Seeds which are just what he needs. He is now starting to make progress in both phonologically regular words as well as sight vocabulary but importantly he is enjoying his learning. Thank you.

  Absolutely love this app! I’ve definitely seen an improvement of my daughter’s reading/spelling ability. Great to have access to so many ebooks! It’s good that she views this app as fun rather than a chore and has learnt and is still learning lots from it.

  My 3 year old started the programme in Jan-21. At that point she knew a few letters. It's now Mar-21 and she has finished Map 3. I have been so impressed by the programme and seen her progress so much. The teaching methods used in the app are so effective yet fun. The workbooks are really good too. My daughter finds these a lot harder than the app but they have definitely developed her writing ability and pencil control. I really recommend Reading Eggs.

  This is the best educational app ever. I have used reading egg for all my children from the oldest to the youngest and each of them had been top of their class from nursery to year 6 when they leave primary school. My first child is in secondary school now while my second and last are till on it. Reading eggs has helped me a lot that I have recommended it to so many people that they call me to thank me like I created the app. I'm also still using it to teach special needs children that I work with and it's still working well and performing it's magic. Thanks to all the brains behind reading eggs.

  The app is very easy to use. My 5 year old loves it. It allows him to practice the phonics he is learning elsewhere, reinforcing what is being taught. I have been very impressed with the range of games, worksheets and eBook's available. The maths has also been great, it allows him to work at his own pace. The maths work sent home from school during lockdown was very uninspiring, but this app has kept his interest and as a result he has really excelled. I would certainly recommend it.

  Easy to navigate and kids love making their avatar and earning eggs. I used this with my son who is now 14 and I still love singing along with 6yr old girl to some old and added favourites. Reading eggs inspires confidence in the user and you can actually make dinner or whatever while they learn safely and happily. I just want a programme now which stops all other activities on the tablet with a flick of a switch. Better and better every year. Love it love it. Boy loved the driving tests both loved fixing up the house.. Even the most unwilling learner will get. Into this if u sit back and give them the reins.

  My son loves this app. It's really helped him learn new words and read. He enjoys the phonics lessons aswell and loves it when he gains certificates. Would recommend reading eggs to any parent looking to teach their children online. I feel it's a great benefit

  My daughter loves playing the game's with the added bonus of learning maths and reading along the way. Biggest downfall it keeps freezing luckly between levels so she doesn't have to repeat them. But we have to shut down the app and find our way back to the level again.

  I can’t rate Reading Eggs highly enough. The difference in my son’s understanding of sounds and reading in just a few weeks is incredible. He really enjoys the interaction in the lessons and games etc. The little videos are very entertaining for him. There is a lot of choice in books to read and always some that catch his attention. The fact that he asks to go in reading eggs every day is proof of how much he enjoys it.

  The app is great but we always come up to tasks that do not respond and we can skip them. There is a message program is not responding and then we are stuck. Only solution was to advance him to the next level which is not great. Not sure what the cause is but every time it happens it puts my son off doing it again anytime soon.

  Reading eggs has been an amazing learning platform for my child to learn to read. It is extremely enjoyable for my son and he loves to interact with all aspects of the app. He has learnt alot in a short space of time. I would highly recommend this app. We started using it whilst at nursery and this has built his reading skills prior to starting school. You have to get this app! Thanks reading eggs x

  Its a great learning experience but there are flaws. my 6 year old gets so upset because some of the 'games' are so fast that she is losing her lives over and over, even if she knows what its trying to teach her she cant get past that part of the map because its just too quick. there needs to be a slowmo option or a skip option or even a alternative 'game' for the fast ones. she hasnt been on the map much because shes worried she cant keep up and wont try again to get past it as she just panics and cried over it.

  In my family we love Reading Eggs. The site is easy to navigate, it is very child friendly and offers levelled learning. We love the Maps and the little creatures/animals popping out of the eggs! Just recently I discovered that there are printable worksheets and I am amazed how detailed and structured they are!

  Super. My children love it. One is learning to read better with reading eggs and fast phonics. The other one is learning how to be a better reader with reading express. They both are understanding maths so much better with mathseeds. The gamification of learning means the children enjoy the app and see their progress through the prizes they win. Also customer service is good.

  I was asked by my boys school to download the free trial for a month to see if it was a resource the children found useful. After the first week I’d already decided we were going to continue with this even if the school didn’t. I cannot rate this app highly enough. I have two boys currently 4 and 7 and we’ve had this app for around 6 months. The progress my 4 year old has made as been amazing, he loves this app and is now reading books for early readers by himself. He is also making excellent progress on the other areas of the app - the spelling sections and the maths lessons as well! My older child could already read well by the time we got the app but the ‘maths seeds’ section has been super for him as this is an area he has struggled with. I really like how it covers so many different aspects, Including time and money etc. The older English section is also brilliant with understanding grammar and comprehension ( I’ve learnt a few things myself ) Each section is great as the lessons aren’t too long and always varied in the way they teach things. The fact that the app covers so many different things is really helpful as an all round learning resource, brilliant value for money and an app that will last for years of learning !   When my daughter was 5, she Could not read the words. I was worried and purchase many learn to read book. the books was no good. one of my friend recommended reading app and my daughter enjoy the app a lot. now she is 5 years and 3 months she can read most of the words. in the school she is in oxford tree stage 2. this is truly amazing . Without the reading app we would not reach this stage. As a parent I like the Printable material and she gets to practice and revise what she learn. she goes to independent school reception year and we send the work to school. The teacher loves to see her work and motivate her by giving her stickers. cant thank enough for reading app, its a great part in my daughter life. will recommend this app to everyone.

  The main problem I find is the fact that you can't play offline. Annoying bug on the back ground music that can happen the app play 2 different background music at same time. Also I would love if it had screen lock to stop my child wandering into another apps. But on the upside it's has a great potential since it's a nice learning support for children.

  Reading Eggs has been brilliant for my son. He is making massive progress with his reading and really enjoys it and looks forward to doing it. He loves all the extra bits like spending eggs and the songs and characters. The only thing I would like to see improved would be some clarity about how the fit the different aspects of reading eggs together. E.g. when to do the main reading eggs lessons, when to do the spelling lessons, when to use fast phonics etc. I would like a step by step guide to lead us through.

  It's been brilliant for us. I am not a teacher but find myself home educating my son as he was unable to keep up with his peers and the school setting simply didnt work for him. This has been wonderful and we are thrilled that he is now actually reading. One of the issues my son has is short attention span, but this program really engages him and he sticks with it. I think it's because it's fun, the exercises are in short bursts and they're like games, the colours, pictures and sounds are very appealing, and he loves collecting the point and certificates. Id recommend it to anyone.

  My son struggled to pay attention when it came to reading. As lockdown approached I knew he would be missing out on the most important lessons at school; learning to read and write. I started with the free trial and just from that my son was enjoying the app and was reading more words without my help. Nearly 6 months on and he’s achieved so much already and the teachers have noticed how well he reads. Some days he will ask me if he can play reading eggs which is such a pleasant change. 10/10 for everything and would recommend reading eggs to everyone wanting to learn to read.

  We love reading eggs! We purchased for my son over the first lockdown and it was the only form of learning he would engage with. He’s back to school and in year 1 now and we just had our parents evening. The teacher said he’s well in track to passing the year one screening test in June already. We think reading eggs has contributed to this massively. I love that you can print off worksheets to support the learning - which also aids writing skills so your not just tied to the tablet. And he loves the certificates. It has a huge library available which is brilliant with it being so difficult to access books from school and libraries. We are huge fans of mathseeds too! My sons favourite subject - but this just adds to him wanting to learn with reading eggs too. It’s a brilliant learning resource and would highly recommend to all.

  My 5 year old loves reading eggs and most of all math seeds! He made huge progress and is reading constantly. Most progress he made though is with math seeds. My 8 year old son wasn’t so into the program and to him the graphics were too childish. Overall I really recommend this program for younger kids.

  I absolutely love reading eggs. My daughter is non- verbal. I was searching for a good program that we could use to help her to read. I always knew she understood so much but was just unable to vocalise it. I have seen her come on in leaps and bounds since using Reading Eggs.

  My son (7, ADHD and SPD) never liked reading or spelling when at school, since I deregistered him from school and we started home education journey 2 months ago, I straight away registered with Reading Eggs as I have heard so many positive feedback, he has since read 18 books and is really enjoying his learning! For him major thing is that it is on a pc (or a tablet). My daughter is 6 and loves it too! They both love that they can earn acorns or eggs when learning and use it to play games, which are also educational. I have to say my HomeEd journey is so so much easier and less stressful and I cannot recommend Reading Eggs enough!

  Great service. I pay for my youngest and my eldest gets it with school. Only downside is they don't have an app for fire tablets. Shame as my sons homework is mostly reading eggs so spends most evenings on it.

  It was a good experience at first. But internet issues are now very much and so frequent. It takes forever to load games and videos. I have paid for annual subscription, but my kid loses interest while waiting to load games and videos. So disappointing.

  I think the site is excellent. My son is 8 and has always struggled with reading. His reading has improved quicker than ever with reading eggs. Very engaging and keeps my sons attention! Very varied too, I like the way each lesson is split into 10 parts. A brilliant site for children learning to read.

  I love this app! My 5 year old has struggled with her reading, phonics and sounding out, as well as blending words. She is easily distracted and will shy away if she can't do it or thinks it's too difficult to do. This app has been a great addition to helping her learn at home at her own pace and most importantly making it fun and rewarding and so she doesn't feel like it's another set of learning she has to do. I love the fact that it's repetitive so it's reinforcing what has been learnt. I am able to see her progress. We were previously using jolly phonics and even though that is good in itself and is used all over in schools, I find this app, a much, much better fit for my daughter and she has come on better with this than what she did with jolly phonics. I recommend this app for anyone who has a child struggling with reading, or is just starting out. The earlier you start them off the better. Thank you Reading eggs!

  I loved Readings Eggs and now Reading Eggspress with my son. It's such a great application for reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, etc. It's so useful and fun!

  Great app to use! It supports my homeschooling lessons and it makes so much fun. My 4 and half son spends on average an hour on it on a daily basis. And there are so many books to read that he never gets bored Good customer service! Since they updated it a week ago, the app does not freeze as much as it used to (i.e. using a Huawei). Highly recommend it to young learners seeking to learn while having fun

  So much fin that the children do not even know they are learning. They love getting their certificates and earnings to spend on mini games too. This has been a great tool to use during lock down for home learning.

  It is amazing. Learn whilst having fun and earning awards. The boys have loved the reading and maths. I love the way that you get progress reports on how the children are doing. I have recommended this to many of my friends.

  My daughter hated reading and read so slowly she didn't have a clue what was going on. Long texts absolutely overwhelmed her. Comprehensions were her nemesis but after doing quizzes on reading eggs she has realised there is nothing to fear. The change in her fluency and confidence has been remarkable.

  This is the only learning website I can get my 5 year old interested in. The fun animations and sounds make learning enjoyable and I’m so glad we had it throughout the 2020 lockdown. I’ve seen a steady improvement in his understanding of letters and reading as he passed each level and the collection of points is an added bonus after each activity. Thank you reading eggs.

  Reading Eggs was my saviour during lockdown. My four year old son loves to learn and it has been a brilliant introduction to phonics and reading, not to mention Mathseeds. It is so easy to use and my son feels a great sense of achievement when he gets a certificate at the end of each level. I cannot recommend it highly enough for any pre-school pupil. My son is now in Primary 1 and we are continuing with our Reading Eggs adventure.

  My son has serious learning difficulties but Reading Eggs has given him the long term input that has helped him begin to read.Its an absolute no brainer for every child.So many fun ways to teach phonic skills and so very motivating.This ha been money well spent,nothing you can think up as a parent or home educator will match up.

  Easy to navigate with an intuitive interface. Our slightly older Samsung tablet struggles with some of the avatar rewards after each section for some reason. The rest of the time it works well. My daughter has lost a little interest in spending the eggs as the items to buy don't seem to be very interactive. Despite this my daughter has just started school but can read a lot of words confidently. She is learning punctuation and is very good at adding expression into her reading which makes the whole experience much more engaging. I would definitely recommend to all my friends as Reading Eggs has made learning so much more fun for both of us!

  Reading eggs is the best app I have found for engaging content and effective learning for my pre school aged son. Other apps may have you sound out the letters of the word but show no picture to put the word into context making it totally ineffective at actually learning how to read but as soon as I downloaded reading eggs it was a winner. My son uses it every morning, a bit of maths, reading or phonics whichever he feels like and I do it with him for the new sections that he is finding challenging, revision of previously learnt lessons he is very happy completing by himself. He can now sound out and read the majority of beginners books himself and can do basic arithmetic in his head as well as write words and sums in coloured soap all over the bath tub! He starts school this week and I feel very happy that he will not find it intimidating due to what he has learned from reading eggs. The only downside was a period where the app went very glitchy whether being used on a phone or tablet but it seems to have been resolved hence my 5 star rating

  I've been really impressed by Reading Eggs. As a 3 year old my son started handing us back books saying "I can't know the words" and was desperate to "know the words" and be able to read to himself. At the start of lockdown (late March 2020, UK) he didn't know all his letters and despite my best efforts to be "fun mum" teaching them to him, including getting him to jump on chalk letters outside, he still wasn't getting anywhere. We started Reading Eggs after a mum friend recommended it and, in combination with reading Biff, Chip and Kipper together in the garden, my son has progressed from not knowing all his letters to reading Level 5 phonics books in about 4 months. I've been blown away. My son enjoys Reading Eggs and I think the iterative, formulaic approach breeds confidence and depth of knowledge. It builds up very gently and contains lots of games. We haven't even plumbed the depths of all the games available. My son willingly spent about an hour a day working through the different levels when we were on hard lockdown. This trailed off as we were allowed to go out more.

  We love reading eggs! We each do one level with each of our boys. We have one in reception and one in year one. It's definitely helped bring them on, and they look forward to seeing how many eggs/seeds they have got. We reward them for each 500 eggs they get, and this really encourages them to get more! It's made us feel that if we are ever in a lockdown again, or they're required to be at home for a few weeks, that we could at least carry on with the reading eggs! Really easy to use for both parent and child, we were stuck before reading eggs!

  At the start of lockdown my 5 yr old would avoid anything to do with letters or reading. 12 weeks on, he is reading simple sentences and hus reading age has gone up. He loves the games and makes me print out the certificates for him.

  My son loves this programme he has come on so much since we started doing it. The only thing I am frustrated about is the letter a is written in all the words as a yet when it comes to sentences the a changes to another version of a that looks more like an e and really confuses the children you should be consistent either your letters please thanks
