  Got a watch for my partners birthday. The watch was beautiful, delivery extremely quick even though it was coming from the US. My complain would be is that the website says free delivery but the package arrived with charge from DHL saying that I need to reimburse them £44.68 for import shipment.

  Came quickly, wonderful product, revolutionary (literally) idea. Very happy with it for wearing on special occasions, (when I want to impress someone ), although slightly worried that my balls might drop out. Would have preferred it to be glassed, but that of course, would defeat the objective of it being useful for blind or partially sighted people.

  The company and staff are excellent. Prompt reply to emails. But their delivery service with DHL needs improvement. The tracking link on timebyme's site did not work. DHL said that they would send an email once parcel was received - no email and no tracking link. So no idea when parcel would arrive.

  Excellent selection of watches and very competitive prices. Had my eye on a Spinnaker Dumas for a while, but temporarily out of stock in the style I was after. Pulled the trigger when next available and not disappointed by the experience. Easy, secure ordering with prompt delivery via DHL. Only slight let down was the Dumas packaging which I didn’t feel was consummate with the price point. Not the fault of Time By Me of course, but when the boxes are opened and the immaculate watch, protected on all sides with a plastic film, is extracted from what can be best described as a used crisp packet it’s a little deflating. Despite this minor issue I will definitely use again.

  Watch arrived with a defect. It took three emails to get someone to answer. The person I dealt with was very nice, helpful and polite, and a replacement was organised, but it took a bit of chasing up, and the replacement watch arrived from France, meaning that Customs Duty and handling fees were applied. I don't have issue with paying what's due for importing, but it seemed a bit unfair having to deal with that for a replacement of an item that should have been quality checked first time. The replacement watch I got back is beautiful, so they do have a good stock. All in all a mixed bag of an experience. Nice watches, nice staff, but it's not worth the hassle to have to chase replacements and deal with shipping.

  I have recently left a review on another site, however, this seems to have been removed which leads me to scoring TimeByMe even lower!! In short, prepare for unexpected costs when buying from here. 2 months after receiving my purchase, I receive an invoice from the delivery company requesting I pay an additional £46 for customs charges. Nowhere is this stated in the terms and conditions provided by TimeByMe. When being offered ‘free shipping’ as stated on the site, that’s exactly what I expected - you can imagine my shock at this extra cost which isn’t exactly a small sum - especially to some. As for the product itself it’s honestly a nice watch. It’s a lot bigger than what I thought it would be, which, personally, I thought gave it a tacky look - however, everyone’s tastes are different and no doubt some will absolutely love it! I’ll be sure to figure out dimensions when next buying a watch. It is only fair that I mention the great customer service - I didn’t receive an order confirmation after my purchase which is worrying considering the money spent (this really needs to be addressed) but after contacting customer service. I had a prompt response, putting me instantly at ease. All in all, if buying from the UK I’d look elsewhere - the ‘savings’ you think you’re making, well, you’re not! You will absolutely find a watch just as beautiful in the UK with actual free shipping! I’m sure you can tell I’ve had a bad taste left in my mouth from my experience and my previous review being removed hasn’t helped - I feel customers need to know what to expect! Hopefully this review remains and it helps a few people :)

  Time By Me's pricing information is inaccurate. No where on the website does it state that the product is being shipped from France and will incur additional charges on delivery by the courier. Even after reading their terms and conditions it does not highlight this issue. I was drawn in by a cheaper price online only to have to pay an additional £45 upon delivery. Be careful this doesn't happen to you.

  Ordered watch, watch didn’t arrive, sent email to find out where it was and quickly had reply they couldn’t trace it, had apology and offer of refund or send another watch, I chose to to have another watch, had another email to keep me updated and was offered a discount for delay, watch arrived well packaged. Problems happen, how they’re dealt with matters and in this case, excellent.
