  I paid for delivery to my parents' house and they were asked for a code - the code had been sent to my email 1 hour or so before the delivery. Why would a code be needed to deliver something to a given address? There was no indication that this would be the process. My parents had to drive to retrieve the parcel.

  Planteray OFTD Overproof rum is a favourite of mine, and only availaable online. I thought Brexit had impacted the ability for LMDW to ship to the UK and thiswas my frist order since then. Pleasantly suprised that the shipment was only slightly delayed through customs, after DHL had to ring me to ask for information which was on the packing note on the outside of the package. The two bottles were excellently packaged in airshock protector within the box. Delivery was prompt and DHL followed instructions to leave package in a safe place. So not hanging around for identification like for Amazon deliveries. LMDW, even with shipping, were still the cheapest supplier for OFTD rum by £5 per bottle. Merci.

  Orders are dealt with rapidly and delivery is fast. The quality of packaging is excellent. In that context, the cost of postage and packing is reasonable. However, I am interested in sake products, not whisky. The store's promotion of sake is almost non-existent. Also, a greater variety of sakes could be offered. This is why I give the review four, not five stars.

Looking forward to buying more whisky through the website. It is easier for me to buy Australian whisky here, for my family and friends in France, than to buy it in Australia and send it to France.   Ich bestelle jedes Jahr die Ballechin und Edradour Sonderabfüllung für meine Sammlung. Seit Jahren kommen diese Lieferungen mit beschädigten Deckeln und verbeulten Böden der Tuben an, weil die Verpackung schlecht ist. Die Luftpolsterfolie hilft nur gegen Beschädigungen von außen, aber nicht gegen die Bewegung der Flasche in der Tube beim Transport. Sie müssen nur ein wenig Pappe zwischen Flasche und Tube stecken, schon ist das Problem behoben. Das habe ich schon mehrfach geschrieben, aber sie ändern es einfach nicht. Ich bitte entweder um kostenlosen Austausch oder eine Gutschrift. Fotos kann ich gerne schicken.
