Verified reviewI have debated writing this review since I had a strange experience. Firstly I want to highlight that I made a large order, upward of €1500 so my entire boarding kit (including helmet, outerwear, and goggles) were from here. Secondly, I want to say that when I was on the phone with the equipment expert (Lucas) he was friendly, informative, and receptive. Now with that said, while most of the equipment is good and I got a good deal. I had multiple delivery issues that went on for months, this apparently was suppliers side, but there was little in the form of communication and compensation to me. I ordered in October, the board was on pre-order for end of October, there were issues from the supplier which is not Glisshops fault, but they failed to inform me about these issues and only provided me with a solution after 2 months of waiting leaving me only a couple of weeks before my planned ski trip. The solution was to go for a completely different board so that it would arrive in time for my season. I had mentioned that I would need it in time for my season when I ordered but evidently that did not help. Again whenever I spoke to them on the phone they were very friendly, however their handling of this issue was very reactive as I had to call multiple times rather than them reaching out to me. All that said, the equipment I have now I am very happy with (except for the Winter Your Life board bag, which was given for free yet I had to pay shipping as it wasn't included in the initial order as it should have been) and even though I had to switch to a different board, my preferences were considered and the other board that was suggested to me fits my specifications well. I hope that my case is an exception to an otherwise good customer experience normally. I thought I would put this here in the hope that Glisshop can improve its communication channels and handling of these kind of situations going forward. All in all I am unsure if I would trust them again with such a big order, but I also do think there is a solid company at the heart of this and I was just unlucky.
