Verified reviewBought the salt and pepper mills as a present. Searched several sources and was surprised to find the Peugeot website offering them at the best price (plus an extra 10% off) and free shipping. The website is user friendly and the order easily placed. The parcel took about a week or so to arrive. The mills are very securely packed in a presentation box and this well packed in an outer container for postage. I also really like that the mills contain Peugeot recommended salt and pepper ready for use immediately. Absolutely delighted with this purchase.

Verified reviewDelivery was good. Product not. If you want something as an ornament and don't intend to actually use them, they look really nice, but the mechanisms don't work properly. I had ordered salt and pepper mills because I had Peugeot salt and pepper mills years ago and I've loved them. On those, I could choose the coarseness - relatively fine setting was pretty uniform and produced a steady stream of salt at the desired setting. On this, the fine/medium (rather than finest, which is utterly useless) setting is such hard work to make the salt, I had to wind round and round about 40 times to get less than a gram of salt and it included large as well as finer crystals, which means it's useless other than as a gimmick or to look nice on a table. I was using rock salt supplied with it by Peugeot, so not a case of using the wrong type of salt. I use the mills for cooking, so I prefer gadgets that work. It's possible that my mills (one of each - salt, pepper) are faulty, but all the emails I've had telling me about my order are from a "noreply@" with no customer service contact email, only several requests for feedback via Verified Reviews, so I'll have to find the time to investigate how to get in touch. I'd rather have followed up privately, than post publicly, but that option isn't presented.

Thanks. I've now done that, but it's really frustrating that I have to have a moderated conversation instigated by a third party, not a conversation direct with customer services without having to go and find it.
