The level of customer support is appalling. Immediately after placing the order, I needed to cancel it, and looking at the order information, it was awaiting packaging, and not shipped. Despite me contacting them via email and phone, they simply refused to help, to the point that they were rude and condescending. Due to the web address being a .co.uk address, and a UK phone number, I assumed they were a UK based company, but they are based in France, so if I return it, I have to pay high postage fess. Not at all impressed with how they handled this, and I would strongly advise avoiding this unhelpful and difficult company

Package came from France to the United Kingdom in only one layer of bubble wrap as packaging, no box at all! As a result my item, which was a collectors piece, was damaged very badly. To add insult to injury they also taped my other item to the collectable items box, damaging it further. I contacted them but have had no reply so far, I wouldn't recommend 1001 Hobbies.

Pity I didn't search the web before I bought it as I could have got it cheaper. But now for each model I think I would like to build I have googled them and if the model is not considerably cheaper for similar priced ones you can get them without paying postage. Unfortunately I would not use this company again. Paid for Express delivery and said it would arrive 2-3 business days. Kept looking for tracking details and found nothing. After a week tried calling the number in the UK as it was a .co.uk website. This was then I got suspicious. Number kept dropping out. BEWARE. This is not a UK based Company like is says it is. Emailed and got a reply saying item was in received in the UK on 11th July and I would get it within 2 days. Well two days had already passed and nothing.Still no tracking details Called my credit card company to report a scam. They said to wait another week before looking into it. Then on 20th July nearly 2 weeks after placing order I find I have tracking details. These showed the item arrived in France on 16th so a complete lie by the company telling me it was in the UK on the 11th. It then arrived in UK at Heathrow on the 19th in the evening. I actually did receive this , thankfully but not until the 22nd July having paid for 2-3 express delivery on 8th.

Fantastic website always offering a wide range of hobby products, I wanted a Trumpeter A-6E Intruder 1/32 kit and ordered it back in late June as it was a great price. It was shipped in a couple of days of ordering from France to UK but unfortunately it got returned as the courier wasnt happy about the size/weight, I could see all this throught the excellent order tracking online, when I asked about this delay the amazing staff said they had sorted it out for me and even put it on DHL Express service at their cost and it arrived within 2 days. Cant compliment the team on their customer service enough, give them a try you wont be dissappointed.

Fantastic company to deal with, i've since ordered and received a Kyosho motor which came from France to the Scottish Highlands quicker than a lot of things usually come from within the UK. Sadly a lot of companies fall down by using rubbish couriers but not these guys and i'd have absolutely no hesitation in using them again with confidence.

I ordered my product on 7 June with a 1 to 2 week delivery. I did not realise that warehouse was in France. I had to wait 10 days for the order to be processed. It then was ready for dispatch. Then late Friday an error appeared on my order. I emailed at the beginning of the following week to find out what the problem was and when i would get the product and they said my order had a computer bug so the order had to be recreated and it would be delivered in 3 days. I had to wait another 7 days while this order was processed. It then went ready for dispatch and then surprise surprise an error appeared. I again emailed to cancel the order. They responded that the order had been dispatched and if I wanted my money back I would have to return the product. UPS did not collect the product from the warehouse until lunch the next day. I will never use this company ever again.

I ordered in December but one large item was not in stock (although that wasn't stated when placing the order). Instead of refunding the 52 GBP they gave me a credit note. The item just came back in stock 6 months later so I put it in my basket but there was no way to apply my credit note. I had to phone them and they organised it at their end and I've just had delivery so all's well that ends well. I wasn't happy about getting a credit note when I actually requested a refund but I appreciate them sorting out my delivery now.

Swift service from the UK... even after having being told to wait for one model kit to be ordered by 1001... I find the prices good, the array of models phenomenal... As a starter modeller within the EU, it's good to have a source that is reliable and consistent...

My kit arrived exactly when they said it would, within 2 weeks of ordering. The kit is well packed and arrived in good order by UPS. The kit looks fantastic and I will enjoy building.

Very fast service, extremely satisfied with the speed of dispatch and price of product. My only criticism is that the UK website gave no indication that goods would be dispatched from France leading to concern that further taxes to be applied. Not the case as it turned out so very pleased overall. Would certainly consider further purchases

Unfortuntley due to unknown stock levels and long delays it has taken over a month for my order to arrive, and even then only in pat, and with a secondary request for a refund against the items that were not available. Its a seriesof unfortunate events, but the fact hat it took so long to resolve and it took several attempts from myself to get them to look into my issue means that it was not a great customer service experience.

After a problem with delivery that was the fault of the delivery company, I contacted 1001, initially struggled with answers by email, but I later sent a Messenger message, and whoever was dealing with me on there was superb. Delivery within 4 days, excellent communications and a great kit well wrapped and delivered safely. Very impressed.

The site was easy to navigate, I ordered a bag which was said to be in stock, when I checked on the progress a week later the bag was pending awaiting stock so I contacted customer services as I did not want to wait a month for it. They assured me it would be shipped put ASAP and I received it a few days later, not sure what the actual issue was but they delivered and I'm happy

I actually like the company however, the last package was sent in bubble wrap only and was damaged. As it is a military model I will work with it but this is the second time I have had transport damage. If it continues I will probably stop shopping here.
