  Box was damaged WITHIN the packaging. Luckily nothing inside was broken (briefly checked). Big box and the model is big so nicely done on having that available. Just keep in mind the box packing when ordering.

  Great products, because so many 1/48 and other aircraft kits, do not come with pilots and crew, and I hang all models from the ceiling, so they have to have pilots!

  I have found the customer services team difficult to deal with and contact. The order I received was incorrect I received two Star Trek mugs instead of two model kits. I have cancelled a second order with this company because I have no confidence that I will receive the goods I paid for. Finally because the company is based overseas and I do not have a printer I cannot print returns labels and there are no instructions in my language on the paperwork to tell me how to claim a refund. I WILL NOT BE USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN

  The item is 1/72 scale and the detail is good for a laser printed item.The legs are seperate from the main body which is handy for fitting them into small cockpits and their overall presentation makes them very passable as RAF aircrew from the 50's and 60's, although in this case they both decided to transfer to USAFand are respectably pilot and radar operator in an F94c circa 1956. They got fed up with the Meteor and went for the higher salaries, easier promotions and more medals than the austerity led RAF of the time could offer. I had no problem navigating your site and went straight to this item following a Google search.

  My order was perfect but fair warning. Royal mail in the uk are terrible. It was in my local office for a week before they delivered it. Even though i paid the duty right away. Shame as your site has such a good range of parts.

  very poor attitude to customer enquiries told me I was being “impatient” when delivery was already 4 days late then told me I was a “low priority” then told me to wait 10 to 15 days after the promised delivery date presumably before troubling them again well, guess who’s a “low priority” now - you’re so low a priority for my custom you can kiss goodbye to any repeat orders and … it still hasn’t been delivered 10 days after the promised delivery date unfortunately I can’t rate with zero stars - dont deserve even a 1 star

  Did an order that wouldn't ship for a while. Cancelled that and a week later only got part of the refund! Had to push to get the rest of it. Then I stupidly did more orders. They said they'd be here by date X, but it's past that date and I have only received half of the orders! Please just avoid them. They're more hassle than they're worth

  This company has a uk web address, but actually ships from abroad had I known id never have used them, I tried to cancel after waiting a week and was told the order had been cancelled and my money refunded. The item turned up 4 weeks after ordering. I would never use them again .

  I required a new battery pack for my r/c Revell Digger and found them available at 1001 Hobbies. The order was placed and very quickly I find I'm running my digger again! No hassle. No delays.   This was my first purchase from this site. I bought a model I could not obtain from any other manufacturer. I believe that they are based outside the U.K., but the postal charges were very reasonable, (unlike the USA), and the model was delivered safely and well packed. I have to say I began the purchase with a degree of trepidation, but was very pleased with the outcome. Hence my honest evaluation.

  I have purchased from 1001 hobbies previously and they have impressed me with their prices, choice of products and speed of dispatch and communication. Once again, they have been a pleasure to buy from. I would however say that my item (a Trumpeter 1/32 Su-27) was wrapped in bubble wrap for shipping, on opening the packaging the box was damaged in a number of places and I was concerned the kit was damaged. On checking, this was not the case, but the box did look like it had been beaten up. That's the only reason they've not earned the full five stars from me on this occasion.

  I was looking for another R/C aeroplane and just happen to come across 1001 Hobbies and i spent a little bit of time looking at all the different things available from them and then eventually went back to looking for another aeroplane, they were offering £10 off a purchase over a certain amount with also free delivery which i thought at the time how wonderful i hope they have an aeroplane which i like and they did so i bought it. The order was processed at Light Speed and within just a few days delivered to my door (for free), I must say it was a very pleasant experience buying from these people so pleasant i went back on their website and bought another aeroplane a different one that I also liked. I have now saved these people as a Favourite on my ipad.
