The site gives the impression that it is UK based, both with the web address and stock advertised in sterling. It also offers free shipping. Delivery times to the UK were OK, given the added complication of Brexit, and there was a brief hold-up due to a query on the import paperwork. On arrival the kits were delivered in a box that was just about adequate, but it and the internal packing could have been better and I feel lucky that there wasn't actually any damage to the contents. Terrible. They only sent half of my order, which was damaged, the most expensive item never arrived and was never sent, they have also refused to send a replacement or send me a refund for it. I would NEVER buy from this company again and I would tell anybody else to avoid dealing with them. They also pretend they are in the UK with their website name, UK phone number and UK prices but they are actually in France. Their customer service is pathetic, the ignore you. Worst experience EVER. Website made out they were a British site by charging in GBP and posting a U.K. number. The total cost included VAT. Found later they were based in France and the VAT was French tax. Ended up paying 40% as HMRC charged another 20% on arrival. HMRC told me as the product was sold and exported to U.K. it should not have been subject to French tax. Told the company but not answer. Please be aware before buying from this company.

Best thing was the price on this particular model, but they're often not competitive on price. It's not apparent when ordering, but dispatched from Europe, which means a delay on delivery. Worst thing, only wrapped in bubble wrap, so more prone to damage and was grilled by the postie about the kit, which could be clearly soon through this.

1001 was the only place I could get this product as no one else had it in stock, I was a little confused about my order coming from overseas, but it arrived in a reasonable time, the price was good and I was kept updated regarding the delivery. I am pleased to see on their website that they stock AMT car kits, some of which are actually in stock, the prices on these mean I shall be placing orders for them shortly.

The models were a gift to my husband for his birthday so I payed the extra for them to be gift wrapped. However the gift wrap was a lot to be desired it looked liked they couldn’t be bothered 😕 so had to redo it. Otherwise quick and easy.
