I had problems with checkout because I could not get the 10% discount being offered and use my £100 gift voucher at the same time. To be honest I don’t feel that the issue I had with Cowling and Wilcox was totally down to them rather than Royal Mail? I made a purchase and paid more to have the purchase delivered the next day. As one usual receives a communication from the couriers letting the customer know what time to expect the package, by the afternoon I’d heard nothing and contacted Cowling and Wilcox and to their credit they sent a replacement that did arrive the following day. So, I was happy with the approach they took, without questions. So, would commend them for that and the speed at which the problem was resolved The goods were still late, but thankfully I got away with not needing them as urgently as I thought.

Delivery was in good time and well packed. One item sent was one unit, rather than a pack of 24, which was attributed to a new member of staff not understanding the quantity fully. After relaying this to C&W, it was quickly rectified and the rest of the missing pack was received, also well packed.

I ordered on 31st Dec 2024, it’s now 16th Jan 2025 and the product has not been received. It’s been with the delivery courier, Evri since 3rd Jan. I have chased this with Cowling & Wilcox, and whilst they have raised a’ticket’ with Evri I still have no product or further information regarding when/if this is going to be delivered. Needless to say this item has now missed its purpose of being a surprise birthday present. I suggest C&W change their delivery courier, keep better control over the delivery of their products. I would not use C&W again if they remain with Evri.

I understand you entered the wrong postcode on your order so Evri couldn't deliver. Once the postcode was amended, Evri reorganised delivery and, having tracked your delivery, I can now see it was delivered yesterday. I hope you agree that our Carrier probably weren't to blame here. We're finding Evri provide a decent service these days (as good as any other Carrier). When we do have issues, it tends to be down to the local driver and we have these occasional issues with all Carriers. Average. Goods arrived promptly, but I was shocked by the inappropriate packaging. No protective stiffening was provided, and no delivery instruction, (eg: "do not bend". The result was a little less than satisfactory, compounded by the postman stuffing the package through the letterbox!

The A1 tracing paper I needed came well wrapped and quickly. I would just say that it was quite a flimsy grade and I really needed a heavier grade, but that could have been my fault for not noticing the grades of tracing paper available. Otherwise a good service.

We sent out your order on time and, frustratingly, DHL took forever to deliver despite your parcel being despatched on a Next Day service. Please believe us that we took your delivery very seriously and we were ringing them everyday to push it for delivery but they didn't deliver it until the 27th. I can see we've refunded your Next Day delivery fee but I know the main thing was to get your order to you on time. Once again, I'm so sorry our Courier let you down on this occasion. The products were okay, I am not brilliant at self assembly. Delivery was poor by DPD the worst courier service ever. Left parcel in back street. They never knock or ring the bell. The parcel was damaged and open at the top.They haven't a clue about custom er service . Not my first bad =experience with DPD

The customer care I experienced was exceptional. The canvas looks like very nice quality. I test a canvas to stretch by trying the tear the corner both directions to test for strength, and it is tough enough for my purposes. I didn't tear it with the pressure I put on it which is good. The texture seems smooth enough for my work too although I haven't got to paint on it at this point of writing. It stretched well too. Overall I give 5 stars across the board, packing was also excellent, so much care to ensure it reached me in top condition.

You ordered during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend and, to be honest, we were far busier than we expected. We were also hit with a 48 hour bug which affected some of our team. We always try, and usually achieve, to be within 48 hours despatch from order. On this occasion, we did slip quite badly but it only lasted a few days as we recovered later in that week to sending out within 24 hours again. All orders are also sent out on a Next Day tracked service. I'm so sorry you got caught up in a particularly challenging time and I hope you feel you can trust us to try us again. Kind regards, Guy.

The products are excellent. I wanted to click and collect from their Aylesbury store on a Saturday morning. I requested this on my order as it said next day delivery was available. Made the order on a Thursday. On arrival on Saturday morning the store was closed. It appears this is the only store closed on a Saturday. I collected on the following Monday. A reply to my order saying collection was not possible in a Saturday would have been nice and better customer service.

The delivery was on time and the packaging was well wrapped and really secure. The items were great except for some rolls of glassine paper that had been torn around the band in the middle. I contacted Cowling and Wilcox customer services and they phoned me and sorted my problem out straight away. I had received a replacement delivery within a couple of days. Their customer service is excellent.
